It shouldn’t be about nationalities. It shouldn’t be about their country and our country. It should be about the human race vs. real enemies, such as illness, cancer, heart disease, famine, drought–all these things. Those are the real enemies. Those are problems that, as a human race, we can deal with. We shouldn’t be fighting each other, because we’re all the same family.
“I like being outside of the house whenever possible, cause it’s always nice just to be a part of the world and, you know, see what goes on outside these four walls.”
“Well, yeah, I mean, for me, it’s just, from a safety point of view, cause there was this statistic released last week which was that 100% of domestic accidents actually happen in the home. So, when you when you look at it like that it’s really like, Wow, I’d better get the fuck out.”
Teenagers have been cutting themselves today and posting pictures online in an attempt to get Justin Bieber to stop smoking weed. The irony being that the mainstream will tell you it’s drugs that make people do stupid things.
I was actually quite touched that Myles Dyer was lovely and reblogged my random blog about some of the things he’s got my brain working over, which I’m actually grateful for the fact I discovered him at the I did. He’s inspiring so he deserves the recongintion for doing what he does, he is truely amazing :) And I honestly think he will help change the world for the better. If any of you aren’t familiar with what Myles does and are interested start with his youtube channel:
After watching a vlog on YouTube by Blade376 (Someone I’ve only recently started watching), I decided I wanted to follow in his example and set myself 30 things to achieve in a year. I ended up writing about 40 things I’d like to do, some pretty easy, some to challenge myself, putting them in a rather fetching cowboy hat and randomly picking 30. So here they are:

Make a website for my work.
Watch all Star Wars films.
Lose a stone.
Have a house party.
Finish reading The Lord of the Rings trilogy and The Chronicles Narnia.
Watch all The Lord of the Rings films.
Contribute to Tequila radio in some way.
Read 1984, The Catcher and the Rye, plus all the unread books I’ve been given as presents (about 10).
Go to the gym / exercise more.
Take chances with people.
Go on holiday / leave Wales for a few days.
Take all my change to a coin bank + exchange.

Stay in touch more with friends who have gone to unis across the UK/ abroad.
Stay organised - my room, my lecture notes, and projects.
As you can see, I’ve made a start at #30 already. :) Thought this blog would probably be the best way to keep track of things. I would do it via a vlog, but I don’t think I’d be too good at them :/.
Here are the ideas that didn’t make the list, but I might add them in if I do enough of the ones above!
Get a tattoo.
Learn to speak fluent Welsh.
Keep note of calorie intake.
Watch Fight Club, Shawshank Redemption, The Notebook, A Clockwork Orange + The One Who Flew Over The Cuckoo’s Nest.
Go to a festival.
Post YouTube Vlogs.
Finish knitting scarf.
Learn a new skill.
Stay in better contact with Grandmothers.
Get a job.
Make a meringue dessert.
And wish me luck, or join in and link me to your list! :)
