Ang looked too adorable at work tonight for me to not snap a few shots of her! I loved the whole story of her outfit and am crazy over the way she paired this school girl plaid dress with a faux thigh high tight. The oxford shoes added the perfect touch of class, and her cable knit cardigan made it super cozy for the winter. She’s always killing it in the fashion department and I’m always noticing! Thanks for letting me photo ya Angela!
So this dress is one of my favorites for a few reasons. It’s super effortless and looks super cute and flattering no matter which way you choose to style it. The natural original baby doll fit is a personal preference of mine, but not all people feel confident in that type of shape. So, adding a belt for definition around the waist is a cute and easy way to give it a different look! My ruffled socks were the perfect detail to keep the flow of femininity in this outfit. To transition this type of dress into winter, you can easily layer it with a cropped sweater or oversized cardigan, and pair it with some tights and chunkier boots!
Hi guys! So, I’m still new to editing photos and dealing with shadows and all of that so please bare with me there! Today’s outfit is featuring one of my favorite sweaters. I love the colors and obviously the message, it’s fun! I layered a spiked collared button up tank underneath it to give it some more detail and edge. I styled it tucked into a solid black skater skirt to let this baby shine! Paired with black tights, silver studded creepers, and this amazing color blocked leather jacket, I’m ready to take on the world today in this outfit!

I didn’t intentionally pick all of these to be Urban Outfitters pieces, I swear!
I hope you all have a great day and don’t forget to stay rad ;)
Today was chilly so I layered up a bit. I loved the softness of this destroyed cropped sweater against the lace dress, as well as the color contrast! I went with thigh high socks to stray away from the supposed black tights. I paired this outfit with these cute fuzzy fold over combat boots, and at first I wasn’t sure about it, but it turns out I absolutely love the cozy feeling they bring to this outfit! Adding the statement geometric necklace was the perfect piece to bring the look together.
#Selfie from the start of last night. Last night was interesting to say the least. A car driving by calling me and some friends walking “fucking monkeys” who need to “go back to the zoo” was definitely jarring. But, in the end we out here doing the damn thing. Working on getting our degrees, putting our work in, and still finding time to get together, chill, and build community with one another. Those racist fools wish they had an ounce of our magnificence. #BlackInBloom #DoingTheDamnThing #unapologeticallyblack
Ever since I’ve discovered this chick years ago, she’s been one of my go to icons for fashion inspiration. Alexa Chung’s style is a strong mix between girly kitsch and menswear gone glam. I LOVE how she pairs really masculine shapes or textures with cute and sexy pieces, like her outfit in the first photo. She does a plaid slightly oversized jacket and edgy combat boots with a denim mini dress and thigh high socks. It makes her outfits so interesting! In the second, she shows lots of leg (which is mostly all she is and I love that) with a shiny printed skirt, but then does a chunkier pullover sweater on top. Although, my favorite thing about Alexa Chung is that she truly wears what she wants and what she likes, and thats really the definition of true style.
