I’ve always wanted to see Storm with kinkier hair texture. How cool would it be to see the most iconic black female superhero stuntin’ with protective hairstyles?
Imagine her hair being as fluffy as the clouds that are at her command.
My Dad was a black superhero…. TWICE. He left his mark on Hollywood and could’ve made millions more if he was willing to play a runaway slave, pretend to be the less intelligent token black friend, a thief, a thug, or even wear a dress and padding to become an old stereotypical black woman. However, he taught me images are powerful. What we put on tv..what we read…all of the images we show to the youth…are powerful beyond measure. He feels accomplished because he played a brown super hero and made little brown kids feel like someone finally represented them. Settling may make you more money but never settling means so much more. Black fucking excellence. Robert Townsend. #blackout
A really proud daughter who didn’t understand the depth behind a black man in a cape until her twenties.
After the death of his mother, Devin Maxwell joins Titan Force, an organization that collects supernatural artifacts using super powered agents. Devin quickly rises to become a brash, yet successful agent under the field name: Streetslam. He forms a pseudo family with his friends and fellow agents at Titan Force.
Devin’s allegiances are put to the test after an enigmatic billionaire offers him the chance to revive his mother, but only if he turns on his new family and steals a mysterious item from the Titan Force vault.
I love that show about the black/blue haired, blue eyed character in highschool that becomes a black and red super hero. You know that one where there’s a villian in a secret lair that uses negative emotions to possess people? And the hero has to destroy the item that’s possessing them?? They have that quirky friend who’s obsessed with their alter ego?? ?
