Consider this the class photo of the future of professional wrestling in 2001. IWA Mid-South‘s roster has always seemingly consisted of wrestlers who would define the future, and who would go on to prove themselves having learned their craft by working with the best.

This short documentary takes a look at the increasing trend of mix gender or intergender professional wrestling on the independent circuit. Why are so many companies booking men vs women matches? Are these styles of matches believable for business? And how did Absolute Intense Wrestling’s full intergender show, Battle of the Sexes, turn out?

Interviews include Combat Zone Wrestling’s Greg Excellent, Sozio and Chrissy Rivera. As well as Absolute Intense Wrestling’s Rickey Shane Page, and Ring of Honor’s Veda Scott and Seleziya.

Also featuring Eddie Kingston, Kimber Lee, Heidi Lovelace, BJ Whitmer, Gregory Iron and many more. Please Subscribe for more short documentaries on independent professional wrestling.
