“Alright, that’s enough for today.” You snatch the script from Jongin’s hands. He’s been completely immersed in his character for the past three hours, with no indication of stopping. Even Sehun got tired and left half an hour ago.
“Just a little more,” he pleads, reaching for the script, but you pull it away.
“Jongin. You need to rest.” He looks at you with sad eyes before laying back onto his bed. He swings his arm over his forehead and stare into the ceiling, his gaze full of thought. Your mood grows heavy. “How are you feeling?”
Jongin shuts his eyes. “Better,” he replies, a faint whisper.
“Has she called back?” you ask nervously.
“No.” Jongin rolls over on his side, facing away from you, and quietly sighs.
Your heart sinks, seeing the usually cheerful Jongin, now overworking himself to the point where he doesn’t have time to think about anything else.
