This is a fairly well known, super easy recipe for doughnuts but I don’t think I’ve seen a tumblr post floating around for it and since we do love our kitchen hacks….

Easy peasy lemon squeezy instructions:

  • Get a roll of canned biscuits - any will do but Flaky tends to absorb oil so I would go with Homestyle.
  • Cut holes in the middle if you want. I never do lol.
  • Put a pan over medium heat with about ½ in. of neutral oil (alternatively - coconut oil is amazing as well but the donuts taste coconutty).
  • Fry the donuts on each side until they brown up.
  • Roll in cinnamon sugar mixture. Devour.

15 minutes from start to finish. 3 ingredients. Great emergency dessert and taste AMAZING!
