Hi, I really love your voltron headcannons, could u do more shiro ones?

happy birthday shiro!!!

  • the extent of hunk’s familiarity with shiro pre-voltron was that one time he saw shiro in the garrison hallway and thought “oh hey me and that guy have the same gloves, neat”
  • shiro and lance are both in the Unsettlingly Good At Dealing With Near Death Experiences club
    • lance: [almost gets blown up] [hits on allura immediately after waking up]
    • shiro: [gets stabbed by radioactive wolverine claws] “haha don’t worry keith it takes more than several things trying to kill me to kill me”
  • whenever anyone compliments how well put together shiro is keith automatically remembers the time shiro almost started a fire in his dorm making pizza bites
  • “we’d like to speak to your leader” “sure” “…” “…oh right- hello-”
  • shiro is the paladins’ adult guidance, coran is shiro’s
  • whenever shiro says something inspiring allura lowkey takes notes
    • “how do you…. do that” “uh… encourage others?” “yeah that”
    • bless this girl’s soul she just prefers running people into the ground to motivate them
  • one time pidge fell asleep in the vents and shiro went to get her but his big ass shoulders wouldn’t fit and he was stuck for like an hour
  • shiro, whenever something goes wrong: “part of me is like, whatever, you know? you know those days when you’re like ‘this might as well happen?’ adult life is already so goddamn weird”

happy 100th birthday John F. Kennedy (May 29, 1917 – November 22, 1963)

“When we think of him, he is without a hat, standing in the wind and the weather. It can be said of him, as of few men in a like position, that he did not fear the weather, and did not trim his sails, but instead challenged the wind itself, to improve its direction and to cause it to blow more softly and more kindly over the world and its people.” -E.B. White

Martin Freeman’s got lots of wonderful quirks and talents, many of which are on display in the film.  But his most remarkable quality as an actor is to be able, with absolute clarity, to convey that he’s thinking two things at the same time.  And you know as an audience what they are.  And I wasn’t the only one on the set to say to himself later: “I wish I could act like that.”  He has a palette of subtlety.  And I thought, this is a new sort of acting that I’ve never seen before. — Sir Ian McKellen, The Hobbit Behind The Scenes

Exactly 100 years ago today, on May 29, John F. Kennedy was born. He was the youngest man to ever take the office as President of the United States. His term in office would last only 1036 days, tragically cut short by the assassination that claimed his life, but his influence and presence are still felt today.

Originally, John F. Kennedy wanted to be a writer or a teacher. He only ventured into politics after the death of his eldest brother Joe. In many ways, one could say that he helped write history and set out to teach the world about his own ideas. He was an idealist: one of the main points of his presidency would be to aid innovation, imagination, and invention. He is known for some great speeches, but the man himself did not have patience for idle chitchat that had no basis in reality. He set goals and always asked to be judged by the results those plans would provide.

In some people’s opinion, no other President had a greater vision of what America should be than the vision Kennedy had for his nation. Never has his own quote “a man may die, nations may rise and fall, but an idea lives on” been more true than on this day upon which we remember his life and legacy.

Happy 100th birthday, Mr Kennedy.

If by a ‘Liberal’ they mean someone who looks ahead and not behind, someone who welcomes new ideas without rigid reactions, someone who cares about the welfare of the people-their health, their housing, their schools, their jobs, their civil rights and their civil liberties-someone who believes we can break through the stalemate and suspicions that grip us in our policies abroad, if that is what they mean by a ‘Liberal,’ then I’m proud to say I’m a 'Liberal.’

Happy 100th Birthday John Fitzgerald Kennedy (May 29, 1917 – November 22, 1963)

“There’ll be great presidents again … but there will never be another Camelot.” - Jackie Kennedy

I feel like Sherlock would be the husband to use his influence to invite John’s favorite celebrities to the flat to surprise him and then act like he doesn’t know who they are.

“Hello again Sir Elton, remember when I stopped those costume thieves for you? Listen, it’s my husband John’s birthday and he loves you a lot, so if you could stop off for a bit and surprise him, that would be great.”

And of course Sir Elton John would drop everything and come for Sherlock-Fucking-Holmes and they would both be chilling in the flat until John comes home from work. Sherlock will be like, “Quick! Sit in the client’s chair!”

And then John would come home all tired and stressed and like, “Oh, we have a…Oh. My. God. Elton John’s in my flat.” And drop his suitcase

Sherlock’s like, “Who? This is a client.”

John’s face would be like: :O “Don’t tell me you don’t know Elton John.”

Elton be there stirring his tea like nothing and Sherlock will be fake irritated. “What are you on about?”

John will keep trying to tell Sherlock who he is and even sing a few of his songs and his husband will just sit there trying his hardest not to burst out laughing. Then Sherlock will turn to Elton and be like, “Now, why are you here?”

And Elton will smile and be like, “To wish John Watson a happy birthday.”

And John will be like ( ゚o゚) and then Sherlock will turn around with a big ass smile on his face and say softly, “Happy birthday, John.”“

And then maybe after Elton sings him a song or two and leaves, John kisses Sherlock a lot and says, "Thank you so so much love.”

And then the second part after the cake and the surprise is when they go to the bedroom ;)
