bird moving

Hey look at this!! I made art that moves!

Originally the birds were supposed to move a bit as well, and maybe some of her bangs, and ooh wouldn’t it have been fun if the glitter moved, but then I was like “I don’t actually know what I’m doing” so I just did blinking eyes.

[TRANS] V on 4 o’clock

As expected

This song wouldn’t have been made without Namjoonie hyung~
I’ve always wanted to write about the dawn and..
because I like this style songs, I listen and sing to a lot and I wanted to try making this kind because my creativity was firing up so I asked Namjoonie hyung for it and he gave me a beat I really wanted

I liked Namjoonie hyung’s beat so much I wrote 6 different kinds of melodies
I thought of the birds at dawn as the main subject
That time between 4 o’clock and 5 o’clock before the sun rises when it’s bluish, when there’s no one else at the park but me and the birds at dawn (will just say ‘bird’ moving forward), that time is short and I really like that time so there was a point where I went 5 days in a row to see it
It was there alone that I made the song on top of the beat Namjoonie hyung put together and although it’s not like I write lyrics well like Namjoonie hyung, I wanted to try and relay the feelings I liked into the lyrics.

the dark (silent) dawn where the (listless) sounds ring with the cold cold winter wind
you continuously close yours eyes to the sounds as you realize the dawn
the birds at dawn cry out with an anxious passion
let me hear your voice fill this dawn

This is a letter I hoped to send to the birds at dawn (just ‘birds’) but
For me to write alone, this song couldn’t be completed and I was about ready to give up when it was able to be completed because of Namjoonie hyung~~
As expected of poet Kim Namjoon!

I will try to bring more songs for you to listen to
Also Vocal Monster hip hip hooray👊🏻🤘🏻☺️
I will make  more songs for you to listen to☺️

Random Trinket Table

Have you ever thought to yourself, “Man, I want something useless but mildly interesting that isn’t from the trinket table in the player’s handbook!” Well, you’re in luck. Because I love random, useless trinkets and I’ve created a list for all to use. Even though there are plenty of other random trinket tables out there, you can never really have too many. Am I right or…? Anyways. Table below the cut!

sickly-scourgie  asked:

(wow, me again) hey, i was wondering if you have any tips on drawing wings? i love your style and i could really use some reference/style tips for drawing them. sorry if someone has already asked this!!

Sure! My style would be much better but I end up getting lazy at the wings despite them being one of my most commonly drawn things lmao. Anyway, here are some tips!

Art is all about creating what can be seen, even if you imagine it (bc how can you imagine something without having seen it (and no, mythical creatures are made of concepts you have seen don’t pull that on me)). So, LOOK AT WINGS. KEEP LOOKING. Notice three (3) lines that make the top arm. NOT TWO.

don’t let that professional artwork of angels with two line wings fool u. They kinda knew what a bird looked like. LOOK AT BIRDS AND WINGS AND FEATHERS AAAAAH

2.) Think about the functionality.
Would a wing of x size be large enough to lift whoever you’re putting them on? Don’t make your wings too small unless magic is involved. Because otherwise they would be useless for flight. It sucks having to fit such large things in your art but it is a sacrifice we must make. I usually go by the 2X the height rule for the wingspan + like a foot or two on each side

ex. Avian is 6′1 and her wingspan is 14-15 feet. So each wing is 7 to 7 ½ feet long.

3.) Practice.

I know this is in like?? every art tutorial but guess what; there’s a reason for that. Keep drawing even when you feel frustrated or like you’ll never improve (you will). Try different angles or positions! Watch videos of bird flying or moving.

4.) Have fun!!!!
