If you ask me, anti-heroes are the most interesting characters in any form of writing.

I just saw IT yesterday and..

What a AWESOME movie. The theater was full and everyone was LOVING every minute of it. Not only is one of the best horror movies of those last years, but also  a incredible movie about friendship and how you can always win against you worst fear.

Also..such a great young cast! They all are very talented and had wonderful chemistry together. Jaeden Lieberher, Sophia Lillis, Finn Wolfhard..the entire cast! It’s a very well done adaptation from the books.

Also..big hell yeah to Bill Skarsgård. He nailed every part of playing PennyWise.  Incredible performance!! Hope to see more of him in the future..

I had very high expectation on this movie and i’m very glad that the movie was even better than i imagined. Now..i can’t wait for part II.

Also..What a great year for horror movies with younger and talented cast.

Anabelle: Creation was also another great movie and with very strong performances of Lulu Wilson and Talitha Bateman.

It is a great time again for horror movies.

4 Hot Things to Watch on Netflix

Hey y'all I am back. For those who don’t know I had major heart surgery so I am recovering and haven’t had time to create anything on here. So I thought if I’m gonna come back I gotta make a post to please the people. Since I can’t do anything but eat and sleep I’ve been watching a lot of shit so here are some things I highly recommend. Also these are all Netflix originals. Enjoy!

Death Note (2017)

This Netflix original movie is about a boy named Light (Nat Wolff) who gets his hands on a deadly notebook. Whoevers name you put in the book, dies. Ok so before yall attack me I am a big fan of the anime that it is based on so I went into this with an open mind and I think for America they did a decent job. I have a few issues with it regarding the anime and the blatant white washing but other than that I think it’s totally worth the watch. Plus Nat Wolff is super cute even with blonde hair.

Narcos (Season 3)

Ok so Pablo is dead but the Cali Cartel is ready to rule…or are they ready to surrender? Season 3 was the best season of this show and honestly you can watch it without watching the first two. If you follow my blog you know that Narcos is one of my favorite shows ever so to say this season crushed the ones with Pablo means a lot! If you need some good ol violent storytelling this is the show for you oh, and if you become obsessed don’t worry Season 4 is already on the way.

Ozark (Season 1)

Who knew Jason Bateman playing a money launderer would be my favorite role of his ever. In this show he plays a man who moves his family to the Ozarks to pay off some very bad men. This Netflix original show is gritty and explosive. Although it may be violent and even scary at times don’t let that distract you from the fact that the writing on this show is what gives it that wow factor.

The Incredible Jessica James (2017)

I’d like to say I saved the best for last. This film tells the tale of a twenty something playwright in NYC reeling from a bad break up and struggling to follow her dreams. She goes on a blind date and things start to look up. First of all the trailer for this made me so happy. I’m so happy to see a regular black girl whose character is a WRITER!!! I think in the movie she is 25 and I’m 24 and want to be a writer so I completely relate. Jessica Williams is incredible in this and I highly recommend this to anyone who feels like they suck at love or life.

This is the worst thing I’ve ever seen.
