Exmoor in the UK is said to be home of a large felid type creature resembling a Puma or a Panther but much bigger! Sightings stretch back as far as the 1970′s and since then have been fairly consistent. In 1983 a farmer lost over 100 sheep over the course of just three months. After examination it was found that they had all been killed in the same way, bite marks to the throat.
One reasonable explanation to the beasts existence is this. Before 1970 it was perfectly legal for people to keep big cats as pets, however when a law was passed that restricted this it is thought that a lot were simply released into the countryside.
