Tara, Biyahe Tayo!

Come, Let’s Travel!

An expat’s excitement to go home –the restless nights, the plans you make, the food you want to eat. (And that is possibly true to anyone who has been away from his ‘true home’ for some time.)

I had less than thirty days to spend my leave, away from the hustle and bustle of the refinery.

This set is to introduce you to my beloved country, the Philippines, an archipelago in Southeast Asia. Mabuhay! Hehe. Not exactly the overview of the places I visited during the vacation, but I hope these somehow make you consider Philippines for your next travel.

Let this be my contribution to Gray-Card’s Passport to the World Passport

Grass by the hillside | Ligao, Albay

Bolinao Falls | Bolinao, Pangasinan

Butterfly on the boulder | Sto. Domingo, Albay

Fourth Falls of Pitong Sagurong | Sto. Domingo, Albay

Kapuntukan Hill | Legaspi, Albay

Welcome me my homeland. More posts to come.

Streams of Busay Falls

Another name of the Busay Falls I heard is Pitong Sagurong. Pitong Sagurong translates to ‘pitong alulod’ in Filipino or 'seven gutters’ in English and refers to the seven-tiered waterfalls. You will need ample time –and a local guide if you’re not from around, of course– to visit all seven.
