Self-motivation is something that I’ve lacked for a while. I’m proud of myself for going to the gym about 3-4 times the past 2 weeks, pushing myself to lift heavier to improve. Now I just have to keep that up. Don’t hold back 💪🏽

Today’s Workout

Back and Biceps:

Lat Pulldowns: 

  • Warmup Set - 10 reps with 35lb
  • 4 Sets: 6 reps with 42.5lbs

Lateral Row:

  • Warmup Set: 10 Reps with 45lbs
  • 4 Sets: 8 Reps of 55lbs (per arm)

Preacher Curl:

  • 1 Set with 8 Reps of 35lbs
  • 3 Sets with 6 Reps of 45lbs

Pulley Row:

  • 2 Sets with 20 Reps of 27.5lbs
  • 2 Sets with 16 Reps of 35lbs

Alternating Dumbbell Curl

  • 2 Sets of 6 Reps with 20lbs (per arm)
  • 2 Sets of 5 Reps with 20lbs (per arm)

Comments:

I still really struggle with biceps. I’ve been stuck at the same weight for months now! It’s kind of disappointing to not see any progress. I’m sure it is partly due to the fact that I don’t really vary my bicep exercises. If anyone has suggestions for training biceps, that would be greatly appreciated!

This is my version of the Ballistic Row (Kettlebell Exercise) 🏋🏽
This is a great exercise to build a powerful back, core and arms. Kettlebell exercises are generally challenging so you’ll definitely get more out of it than dumbbell exercises 💪🏽💦
