“When a foreigner resides among you in your land, do not mistreat them. The foreigner residing among you must be treated as your native-born. Love them as yourself, for you were foreigners in Egypt. I am the LORD your God.”
- Leviticus 19:33-34
Humility is a defining mark of a true Christian. The Bible says God opposes the proud but gives grace to humble. Isn’t it worth being treated graciously by our all powerful and all wise God. Humble yourselves, therefore, under God’s mighty hand, that He may lift you up in due time.Cast all your anxiety on Him, because He cares for you.1 Peter 5:6-7 If you are humble He will give you grace, exalt you in due time, and care for you along the way so that you don’t have to be anxious.
If anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; the old has gone, the new has come! 2 Corinthians 5:17 When God’s love and grace touches a person’s life, there is a spectacular change that takes place. God changes them upside down, inside out. There is a total transformation that takes place. You no longer want to indulge in the the things you used to, you have no desire to. He becomes a brand new person. Jacob became Israel, Saul became Paul, Simon became Peter the rock. If you are trying to break a habit that is plaguing you, come to Jesus! He alone can transform you.
