Miso : Six Studios

Something a little different for me… I guess I’m calling it a ‘fanzine’!

Six Studios is something that I photographed casually over the last year, the working spaces of the artists I look up to most. Between Australia & Japan, they are my absolute favourite spaces to be in, my favourite people.

The zine features six women aged 20 to 72, working from bedrooms, tiny apartments, studios with assistants, tattoo parlours :
Miranda Skoczek, Del Kathryn Barton, Bianca Chang, Evie Cahir, Joanna Kawecki & Cindy Ray.

The zine is 72 pages, A4, full colour, printed on recycled stock by McKR in Melbourne, perfect bound… and all the profits go to the Asylum Seeker Resource Centre, where a lot of women are having a really tough time.
