better then you believe

Overwatch Theory: Doomfist is still the new/next character in the lineup. It’s a massive, hulking suit (perhaps a cross between D.Va’s mech and Reinhardt’s armor?) that doesn’t let you see who is inside the suit. Terry Crews voices the suit, and Doomfist scares the living shit out of people. It sounds brawny, manly, and like a force to be reckoned with. If you’re in a fight with Doomfist, you better believe your ass is getting kicked.

However, Doomfist seems to be fighting for the good guys? Every tussle Doomfist gets into, it’s for the greater good. Overwatch, Talon, and everyone else in the OW universe is puzzled by what is going on, especially since Doomfist used to be a bad guy.

Somehow, someone (probably from Overwatch) catches the suit open and it’s revealed that little Efi is inside, trying to fight crime using her intelligence and the suit she built with all of her grant money. (Only bad thing she did was steal Doomfist’s gauntlet, but her suit wouldn’t be complete without it so a girl’s gotta do what a girl’s gotta do.)

I know this is a lesbian blog but I do want to make a quick shout out to my bi sisters:
Being bi isn’t a phase and you deserve better than someone who tells you that.
Being bi isn’t a “gateway sexuality” to being straight or gay and you deserve better than someone who thinks that.
Being bi doesn’t make you “more likely to cheat” and you deserve better than anyone who believes that.
Being bi doesn’t give you any privilege (no matter the gender of your partner) and you deserve better than someone who claims that.
Being bi is a good thing and you deserve someone who embraces you the way you are 100% and loves and supports you ❤❤❤

I still struggle with anxiety and depression and that’s okay. It’s a process that helps me become stronger. I’ve been a year clean from self harm and that’s an accomplishment. I’m very proud of how far I’ve came in life. I’m doing so much better than I was before. :) I want you all to realize that it’s okay to go through things. It only makes you stronger. You become better. You are worth it. I believe in every single one of you. Ever since I started watching Mark, everything has become better. He got me to go back to what I love doing the most, and that’s painting and editing. I’m thankful for him and every single one of you. ✨❤️ if anyone ever needs someone to talk to, I’m always available. I wanna thank you all for being so amazing. I’m so so happy I could make friends with such amazing people from such an amazing community.

but seokjin was really upset because he couldn’t attend his college graduation that we all know he was so excited for and even jimin said he was upset so the rest of bangtan threw him a lil surprise graduation party with the gown and cap and flowers and singing to make him feel better. oh my god can you believe bangtan created love, support and friendship???

anonymous asked:

Can you believe Better Man will get Taylor around 350k-450k for being no. 1 at Country Radio? that number does not include sales and other stuff like streaming.

No, that’s insane. Girlfriend penned just three songs in the last year and they probably made her a couple million, on top of her income from her companies etc. Must be nice!

YOI fandom post ep 7: Okay, but they can’t possibly make the next episode gayer than this, can they?

[MINIMALIST BANGTAN:]  2016 - THE YEAR IN REVIEW
“Let’s fly with our beautiful wings in 2017 as well.”
[PART 2!]

새해 복 많이 받으세요! // HAPPY NEW YEAR everyone! I hope 2017 treats you well~ 💕

respect yourself enough to say, “i deserve better”.

The only thing I have to do is be happy with myself - and I am! I want to be able to eat a burger without someone having their say about my figure. I’m not particularly dainty by nature and don’t plan to starve myself to change that. Girls should accept themselves the way they are. And others need to be more accepting of us too - we deserve more respect! I like myself the way I’m and would never starve in order to look the way others expect me to. There will always be people who criticize me, and I’m a very sensitive person, but I have learnt to care less about what people think. In the past year I’ve become far more confident and now I’m happier and more relaxed than I’ve ever been!

Be confident with who you are and if you find you are in the company of those who cannot see how great you are, don’t be afraid to cut them off, okay?

I adore angsty Keith as much as anyone ...

… but sometimes I need to remind myself that he isn’t brooding one hundred percent of the time?

He’s also capable of cracking jokes:

And being sweetly confused:

And look, he knows how to respond to a show of battle bud camaraderie:

And he’s not always cool in the face of danger:

And while I’m all about his mysterious-tortured-soul-loner vibe, boy knows how to laugh and get along with people on occasion:

Even though he and Lance get under each other’s skin often, they’ve been able to interact for a few minutes here and there without descending into arguing:

So I really need to learn to keep these things in mind when I write our beloved emo (possibly part Texan, most definitely part Galra) Red Paladin.

I mean, I say all of this, but you better believe the angst is still gonna be there. It’s a habit that I may never completely break ;D

A guide to being a vocal citizen

For people wondering how to take action post-election of a racist demagogue (pulled from Twitter and cleaned up):

Make a spreadsheet or a file for your representatives with names, addresses to their offices, phone numbers, and contact forms. Put everyone there. Make a note in your calendar app to check in on issues once a month.

Pay attention to news. If you get angry, upset, or worried, seek support from friends but ALSO shoot these reps an email, too. Be courteous but firm and blunt. It’s a numbers game. Often we remain invisible because we don’t go to events and rallies and can’t be physically present. But we can attach our names to emails, we can write letters, we can be vocal. We don’t have to be invisible.

You can do this with your national reps, state reps, and local reps. If someone reps you anywhere, note them. Open a line and revisit it. It’s hard work and slow. One email at a time. One letter at a time. One call at a time. Emails are easy these days, so splurge every few months on a stamp and send a letter if you can. Put your humanity in front of these people. Flout it. Some won’t care, but others will. Change ONE mind and results can cascade.

Rural areas are bubbles full of bigotry and now it’s newly revealed. But we white people who live here have the clout and power! We can speak up when our reps say terrible things, and do terrible things, and vote terrible ways. We can go “I am disappointed in you.” It’s work, but as we’ve seen the last six months, it’s time for us to do that work. If someone goes “who are your reps” you gotta know. If you don’t know and you’re mad about this election, it’s time to create that file and keep it with you and use it.

The time for social media rants only is over. Or, do those, but maybe pull those threads out into a paragraph and send them to your reps. And don’t ONLY email or contact when things go badly. Also reach out when things go right. Even if they voted AGAINST something. Treat them like you would want to be treated if you were wrong or mistaken. But we’ve gotta reach out and let them know we’re here.

Anyway, I know this is hard work. If you need help collecting your reps, give me a ping via DM and I’ll help you get started.
