February’s birthstone is the Amethyst, and we’ve got all the presents you need! Make a gift of this remarkably heart-shaped, hand-carved strawberry. It’s beautifully accented with a small diamond set in 14kWG and shown here on an Argentium chain.
Jeff and I met at freshman orientation where we added each other on Facebook during some talk at Hitchcock Hall. We were surprised to see how many “mutual friends” we had (from our Cincinnati Catholic high school connection)… Then we went home, and he was nice and cute so I gave him my number after some FB messaging. Who doesn’t want a friend before college starts? Then I got my housing assignment. Same building. Same floor.
I fell into some luck in 2012.
Cincinnati Bengals defensive tackle Devon Still accepted the Jimmy V Perseverance Award at the ESPYS on behalf of his daughter, Leah.
Five-year-old Leah is battling with cancer and was released from the hospital last month, wasn’t cleared by doctors to make the trip. Her father took her place at the podium and made a moving speech about what she means to him. 💞💓💗💖🎀
Started the day off at Attila (not pictured), met up with my babe bandsbabyyy, saw Memphis Mayfire (last picture), then saw We Came As Romans a bit later (first picture). After their set, we saw Pierce The Veil (third picture). I was pulled from the crowd by security (again) because my weak ass didn’t drink water. Then I went to an Attila signing and got my AP Warped Program signed (sixth picture). A bit later, I met Kevin of This Wild Life at their mercy tent. He was sweet and adjusted his fanny pack so it would be in the picture. During most of the Black Veil Brides (not pictured) set, I worked my way up front and ended up on the barricade for Asking Alexandria. The people I was surrounded by were so amazingly kind. Sam and Ben of AA waved to us when they were backstage and then Ben threw me his guitar pick (seventh picture)! I was right in front of him the entire set and he threw me the pick after he smiled at me. He’s a cheeky bastard. Also, it was amazing to see my dad so happy because he was two people behind me at AA and he’s wanted to see them live for a long time. He loved it. (He also almost caught James’s drum stick. Key word- almost.) Oh, right before we left, a security guard jumped into the crowd to break up a fight. ‘Twas a wonderful and interesting day.
I look really awkward, but I don’t even care. Today was so amazing. I met Matty Mullins and the rest of Memphis May Fire. Listening to them live at Warped was so amazing. They played Beneath the Skin, which is my absolute favorite song. That song is 100% me and hearing it live was so amazing. I’m so freaking glad I got to get a picture with them and meet them. MATTY MULLINS HAS HIS ARM AROUND ME. I could not be any happier.
