There’s something I’ve noticed at my work. I cannot for the life of me understand how someone can be so happy and chatty and best friends with an EU National that they work with and then talk about Brexit and their support for the Tories the next.
You are quite literally supporting people that didn’t give a fuck about your pals rights and you’re chuffed with yourself.
ESSA PORRA DE SORRISO QUE NÃO SAI DA PORRA DA MINHA CABEÇA, EU ODEIO TANTO VOCÊ POR ME FAZER TE AMAR TANTO, MESMO NÃO TE VENDO, NEM FALANDO COM VOCÊ, MAS A MERDA DESSE SORRISO NÃO SAI DA MINHA CABEÇA, ME AJUDA, ME AME, FALE COMIGO, EU NÃO AGUENTO MAIS, SER INVISÍVEL PRA TI. -G
brexit makes me so mad for a number of reasons, but my biggest concern is that my sister is married to a guy from spain!! and his brother is working here, in the fucking NHS, and like, what the fuck is going to happen to them?? it makes me so angry. especially cos my parents are against scottish independence and voted yes to brexit like wow. kill me.
It’s one of the things Brexiteers never took into account. The number of people who now feel alienated in the country they work and pay taxes in has grown and its social services like the NHS that’ll be hit hardest when EU nationals leave.
I also feel like there’s an aggressive disconnect with some voters. I work alongside brexiteer tories who are joking about EU nationals being deported and then acting like best mates with the EU nationals I work with.
It’s like they’ve put up a mental block so they aren’t liable for their actions.
