best summer i never had

@Luke5sos: 18 soon, no more peein in my pants right guys

Meet Allie Wilson.

Allie is 21 years old and is from Bowling Green, Kentucky.

This is Allie’s second year with the corps.

In high school, Allie marched clarinet and was also drum major. She said she always loved watching colorguard, but she thought it was something that she wouldn’t be able to do. She began spinning during the marching season of her freshman year so she could be involved with her school winterguard. She said, “The rest is history. I completely fell in love with the activity”. And to top it all off, before she joined the Baby Blue Squad, Allie marched 2012 and 2013 with Music City Drum and Bugle Corps!

When asked his favorite memory of the corps, she said it was a difficult choice. She said there are just too many memories to choose from. She finally was able to narrow it down to three. Either the Fourth of July parade in Bristol, Rhode Island, Candy Land flagline rehearsal in Alabama, or all of finals week.

Allie said that she knew after the first audition camp for the 2014 season that Spirit was where she wanted to be.  Allie said, “I auditioned for a few different corps in 2014 because at the time, Music City had folded and I was looking for a new home. Spirit felt like home the second I walked in the door. It’s not easy to find a place that gives you that feeling right away, so I accepted my contract and never looked back. I had the best summer of my life with Spirit and I could not be more excited to age out here”.
