Above: I wanted to get my butt off the couch and out to the gym about that much. But guys, I’m FOREVER grateful to gym friends. I love those health nut bastards so much that I often get motivated to go simply to see them. Today was bodypump day (hence the shirt)…and we may have walked next door and had an encore Margarita Day celebration… (so, I guess they’re not thaaaat much of health nuts)😉

Bottom: These dingbats know who the sucker in this family is…they’re eyeballing me for treats since I brought takeout home for Conner. 🙄 Of course, I caved.

When all your friends are posting pics with their significant other for Valentine’s Day but you’re still single

Imagine Tom being your personal trainer...

Tom had been your personal trainer for about 6 months now. He was so good at motivating you to work hard to reach your goals. He was the thing you was missing.

You always looked forward to your sessions together. First you’d go for a jog around the local park, followed by you both using the equipment at the gym, then you’d both jog to your house and have a smoothie to finish off the session. Tom was now more than your trainer he was one of your close friends - you could tell him anything & he could tell you anything.

You knew Tom was unattached and recently began to feel more feelings towards him. You didn’t know whether you should get up the courage to tell him or to just ignore your feelings.

Tom was meeting you at the park in half an hour so you went to get ready. You stopped and met your reflection in the mirror. Something felt right - you felt happy and as if your heart was full for once in a very long time.

You arrived at the park with your music playing through your ear phones - then suddenly someone tapped you on your shoulders making you jump a mile.

“Oh my god, TOM” You shrieked yanking out your earphones.

“Did I get you?” Tom grinned adorably in your face.

“Yes, you got me damn it.” You laughing wiping your head with your sleeve.

“Are you okay, Y/N?” Tom’s face turned concerned.

“Erm, yeah, yeah. I’m fine I just feel a bit funny.” Tom still looked concerned.

“What do you mean by funny?” He asked politely.

“I’m kind of nervous… because I want to say something & I don’t know how.” You look down tangling your fingers together.

“You’re scaring me! Come on.” Tom took your hand & led you to the empty swing set.

You both sat next to one another and Tom just came out with, “Y/N, tell me what’s wrong?”

“Nothing’s really wrong. I just want to make things right.”

Tom looks at you even more puzzled.

“Y/N, are you thinking what I think you’re thinking?”

“I guess what I’m trying to say is - I’m just a girl, sitting next to a boy, asking him to love her…” You smile after your ridiculous attempt of trying to tell Tom that you like him.

“Did you just ask me to love you with the power of a quote from Notting Hill?” Tom asked with a straight face which turned swiftly into a grin.

He stood up, then pulled you up with him. Gently but passionately he grabbed your cheeks and pulled your lips into his. That feeling came back - your heart was full.

“You don’t have to ask me to love you - I already do & have done since the day I met you.” Tom said after releasing your face from the first kiss of many.
