The very first time I tried this pose I had to place my hands on my hips with my back just slightly arched because I couldn’t even bend far enough back to reach a yoga block.
I remember seeing someone get into this pose directly from a seated position (instead of being on your knees & slowly bending backwards) & I thought that there was no way I could ever do that, but now I finally can. :)
For a lot of things, I used to think, “I can’t do that.” & I would just accept that I couldn’t.
But now, I’ve changed my mindset & instead of putting limitations on myself, I think, “If I keep working at it everyday, one day I will be able to do that!”
Remember, don’t put limitations on yourself. You are capable of so much more! You just have to believe in yourself.
