percival never cared much for gods. divine deities that people blindly placed faith in through every day life and strife, who they would pray to when times grew dark for them. his fellow human’s blind faith in something that he cannot comprehend and simply does not make intellectual sense to him never fails to make him laugh.

and so percy buries himself in his books. if people wanted to follow something blindly, let them. it wasn’t his job to judge.

#471 Glaceon

Day 26 is a request from @daily-glaceon, Glaceon!! A bunch of you guessed what it would be and you were right! This one took a lot of redos, but I think it turned out pretty okay!

since yesterday (sunday) mario started to unfollow bvb on ig

but also started to follow fcb

I cant believe Igot7’s are trying to drag Taeyong and Winwin into their arguments to justify Jackson. NO. The fandom didn’t accept that they were taking part in cultural appropriate at all, almost EVERYONE expressed their disappointment and luckily the hair styles were changed early on in limitless promotions but I saw nobody trying to say it was okay unlike almost every Got7 fan I’ve seen.

And another point is not only are fans justifying Jackson but Jackson himself laughed at fans trying to educate him. So don’t drag our boys because your fave is acting like a dick.

So here’s a thought...

Just imagine the Chocobros passing at the end of the final battle…

Dawn arises for the first time in ten years. Former citizens of Lucis, Accordo, and even Niflheim run out into the streets and out on the clear roads open fields to rejoice in the first light. Hunters finally dismantle their bases of operation against daemon hoards to focus on rebuilding their hometowns and to establish new homes for the survivors in Lestallum. Several days pass and yet no one hears anything from the King and his Crownsguards. Rumor got around that maybe the King has already started rebuilding Insomnia.

A group of hunters braves the stillness and underlying feeling of dread the fallen city of Insomnia emits. No one wanted to be even near the city before the world’s end and sure as hell no one wanted to be near it when the world went to shit. With the daemons gone and rumors of the King finally taking back his throne, the hunters and former refugees of Insomnia are more than ready to come back home.

Imagine Iris Amicitia, the Daemon Slayer, arriving at the Citadel a few days after first break of dawn. Imagine returning to your hometown after fleeing as a young woman, now returning as one of the most respected hunter and leader among your peers. Imagine leading the first group of people to step foot into their hometown for the first time in a decade. The city is still and the quiet is deafening. Debris everywhere from the destruction of the city and from the recent battles. The streets leading to the Citadel charred from the battle with the Infernian.

Imagine Iris walking up to the steps of the Citadel. Photos scattered everywhere, all of them were obviously from Prompto since she’s seen him look through these photos during his down time, or whenever he’s too injured to fight. However, Prompto is nowhere in sight, and there was no way in hell he would have left these just lying around.

Imagine Iris finding Ignis’s book of recipies just by the front lobby, its writer nowhere in the room. She remembers those first few years in Lestallum as she read each recipe out loud for Ignis as he re-learns how to be himself again.

Imagine Iris Amicitia finding her brother’s body at the steps of the King’s throne. He’s placed at the foot of the throne where Noctis’ body sat pinned with his father’s sword. Alongside her brother are Ignis’ and Prompto’s bodies, it was pretty obvious that someone had moved their bodies to place them by their King who they swore to protect. Whoever it was will forever be a mystery.

By her brother’s side was a sword she’d seen him carry around. She’s heard the story straight from Cor the Immortal about how her brother earned the sword after challenging some ancient spirit that Cor, himself, had lost to.

Imagine Iris Amicitia inheriting the Genji Blade from her brother; a piece of his legacy as the King’s Shield, now hers to carry on as the Sword and Shield of their new world. Imagine Iris keeping Ignis’ book of recipes as a memento of the various places they once visited. Imagine Iris keeping Prompto’s photos as a remembrance of the people she had grown up with during a time now long gone…

Just…Imagine Iris Amicitia at the start of the new world, as she walks away from the people she loved. With only mementos of a time when they were all happy, with only their possessions to remember them by…Into a new world she inherited from the men she cared for and admired.

D.GrayMan Fanworks Initiative Day 04: Alternate Universe

Decided to try something along the lines of “Street Rebels” (even though it doesn’t look like it XD) (Also I really wanted to draw Lenalee in roller blades)

This is a rough sketch that took me way too long to be honest. Hope you guys like it though :)

Special Instructions

For the anon who asked if I could write them some fluffy Destiel that somehow incorporated The Great Gatsby. [read on AO3]

The first time Cas sees Dean Winchester’s name it’s on the receipt for an online order. One double steak burrito with extra cheese, pinto beans and just a drizzle of hot salsa. He works almost on autopilot, scooping out the correct portion sizes and trying to keep his eyes away from the line, which nearly wraps around the drink station. It’s always stressful to work on online orders when the customers in the store are getting impatient. Cas rolls the burrito deftly and he’s about to deposit it into a bag when he notices the special instruction section of the receipt.

Cas does a double take at the words. Usually people abuse that section of the order form to ask for extra guacamole or meat because the system won’t charge them automatically. Occasionally he sees someone request light cheese or beans as a side so their burrito doesn’t get soggy, but he’s never, in his four months working here, seen someone ask for this.

He glances up again and sure enough, the line is still growing. He sees girls shifting uncomfortably in their high heels, dressed to the nines in short sequined dresses. He can actually smell the alcohol wafting off most of the people in the store and, for the millionth time, he regrets agreeing to work the Friday closing shift. He doesn’t know why he reaches for the marker, he’s way too busy to be dealing with this shit, they’re completely understaffed and the unwashed masses are murmuring unhappily but Cas sets to work anyway.

He pauses, the tip of his Sharpie just barely hovering over the foil wrapping as he contemplates what to draw. It’s a split second decision to go with the bumblebee, but he doesn’t regret it until he starts sketching it out. The curvature of the burrito makes the drawing difficult and when he’s finished he’s only pretty sure it looks like a bee, so he draws an arrow to it and helpfully writes ‘bee’, just in case there is confusion. As an afterthought he adds a little speech bubble coming from the bee that says ‘Enjoy your food!’.

Castiel glances at the name on the receipt again and finds himself wondering if Dean Winchester likes bees.

The first time Cas hears Dean’s voice, it’s just laughter. He isn’t even on the assembly line at the time but his friend Balthazar is working the cash register and calls him up from the back.

“It seems this is for you,” Balthazar hands him an online receipt with a smirk and Castiel furrows his brows in concern. They’ve got another order from Dean Winchester. It’s the same ingredients, but this time he’s ordered a burrito bowl. Cas’s eyes immediately flick to the instructions.

Cas doesn’t know why he’s fighting a smile, he knows nothing about this person. Well alright, he knows they appreciate his, ahem, artwork…if it can even be called that. And of course, he knows that Dean has nothing better to do with his Friday and Saturday nights than order almost the same food online. Then again, Cas has nothing better to do than be at work, and he’s pretty sure there’s something there about people in glass houses and stones…

WBJ Day 20 - Arms and Armor

Featuring a SUPER LONG POST - wherein the line between sci-fi and fantasy gets a little more blurry.

Welcome to armory day!  After the thrilling introduction of the war, today we’ll be discussing the weapons and armor being used in said conflict.

I’ll primarily be focusing on the cutting-edge equipment of the Hybrid Clan.  Examples of which can be seen here:

(aw yea heck yea)

But aside from the Hybrids, there are also a few related topics to cover in this theme.  So without further ado, let’s get started.

(continued under the cut)
