Yogi “Push Ups”

I’m at the level in my practice where I want to start hand standing away from the wall. These are PERFECT to build strength in so many key muscles.

Start in high plank then lower into four-limbed staff pose. Finish in up dog or cobra! Repeat this for as many reps as YOU would like. I do 3 reps of 8 to start. This is also a regular routine move for me as I practice a few sun salutations each day. PLEASE DO NOT forget to stretch and release. Downward dog is a great release for these as well as child’s pose (duh!) 😊 Try it out!
