before i grow up

Love is………..

…….i forgot what love means…….

Im kinda staying away from relationships now because i dated 2 times which i never should have done in the first place

I dated this one kid but he moved away

And then another but i broke up with him

And now when ever a talk to other boys some of the kids that know those two they start saying things to me

And i want that to stop

I’ll start dating when im ready not because im lonley

Im too much of a kid to deal with these things and i want to stay a child for as long as i can before actually growing up.

IM SHOOK

i asked her what types of people she was interested in then she stared at me dead serious and said, “i like a person who has been around, who’s been pushed too far, I’m highly interested in a person who had to grow up before their age..i know what you’re thinking I’m describing a fucked up person but whats the fun in sharing your mind with a sane person when you can have the thrill, joy, adventure, misery, and the pleasure of sharing it with an insane one”
in that moment i was certain she was the only one for me.

May we all live to see each of our favorite actresses of old play at least one (1) gay character

Anyone else just… tired of Tumblr’s black and white thinking?? IDK it just feels like things have to be perfect or irredeemable, and honestly next to nothing is either of those. Y'all need to just chill and learn how to see the complexity in things

Stalker

rompts: Combination of this one-shot where you’re batmom and just came back from a long business trip and all the kids missed you & when you get home you get shot by an unknown outside the manor in front of Damian who felt something was off? If we survive it’s up2u AND THIS one where Batmom has a stalker? And maybe she doesn’t want to tell Batman right away because she thinks she can handle it?

“My boys!!!!!” You open your arms as the boys run forward. You’re nearly driven to the ground by the force of four hugs. You make sure to hug each of your sons individually, before they begin fighting for your attention.

You listen to the bickering as it turns from who your favorite is, to who’s the best baker of all things. Each boy takes a bag, and starts heading towards the house. Taking a deep breath, you smile at the man leaning against the door frame.

Bruce is dressed in jeans and a sweater, a look you prefer to his usual suit. He looks relaxed and happy, something that never fails to fill you with joy. You open your arms again, as he begins walking towards you with his usual smirk.

When he finally pulls you in for a hug, you take a deep breath, breathing in his scent. He’s big, and warm, and contrary to popular belief, quite cuddly. “I missed you.”

He just laughs, “I missed you more. The bed is incredibly cold without you in it.”

You just smile, as you begin walking towards the house. You can hear the boys arguing inside, when all of a sudden your steps falter. Not understanding what’s going on, you start to fall, and as Bruce catches you, the first tingles of pain hit you. And then it’s a searing pain. Sound disappears, and your eyesight starts to go fuzzy. The last thing you see is Bruce’s face, before everything goes black.

You wake up to something squeezing your arm. Your mouth is dry, and your head is fuzzy. Opening your eyes, you’re grateful that the lights are dimmed low. Turning your head to the side, you smile at the sight of Bruce. His eyes go a little wide, before he moves forward. He crouches down next to you. “Hey,” he whispers before pushing hair back from your face.

You voice cracks a bit when you speak, “What happened?”

“You were shot, by a man who appears to have been stalking you for quite some time. He escaped, but Jim is on the case.” You let out a small groan. Bruce runs a hand over his face, having gathered the meaning, “You knew about him?”

You nod, “He kept showing up wherever I was. He sent flowers and food. I had my assistant throw everything away. Security went through everything too, there was nothing harmful in any of it, but I didn’t want to take a chance.”

Bruce just nods, “Why didn’t you tell me?”

“It all started after the Joker had escaped a few months ago. You and the boys were so stressed; I didn’t want to add to that.”

Bruce’s hand covers yours, “You come first.”

You give a small smile, “I honestly didn’t think he was a threat.”

Bruce finally leans in and kisses you, “Next time, please just tell me when you have a stalker.”

          “Deal.”

It takes a week before the doctors let you out of the hospital. The bullet had just barely missed your spine, and had hit a major artery on its way out. It was only Bruce’s knowledge of how to slow the bleeding that had kept you alive.

The boys baby you over the next few days, they won’t even let you carry a bowl of soup. About a week after you get home, Jim alerts you that your stalker, and would be killer, had been caught. Caught in a room with pictures of you pasted everywhere. After several psychiatric tests it became clear that he had created a delusional relationship with you after you had complimented him for some computer work he had done in your office.

Apparently, you having left the country on the business trip was what set him off. Not being able to see you or observe you had driven him into a more violent psychosis. In the end, he’s sentenced to a stint in Arkham. That doesn’t reassure you, or your boys.

When he turns up dead in his cell one morning, there’s a lot of shuffling in the house. Eyes cut to Jason more often than they should, the curiosity is there but no one is brave enough to actually ask if he had done it.

You do your best to block it from your mind. You know Jason’s code is different than the others. You know he kills, but no one has ever killed for you before and that makes you a little nauseous.

About a week after the murder, you come home to what should be an empty manor. Bruce is at work, Tim and Damian are at school, and Jason and Dick were on a mission. So when you enter the Manor and hear frustrated screaming, you’re more than a little confused.

You follow the sound to the back yard to find Damian attacking a tree with a blade. He’s going at the tree as though it had demanded he go back to the league. As you get closer, you stop at sword’s length away and say, “Damian.”

He freezes mid swing. Slowly he turns to face you. And that’s when you notice. He’s thinner than he should be, there are dark circles under his eyes, and he won’t meet your gaze.

You move forward slowly. Stopping in front of him, you take the sword from his hand, and when you place a hand on his shoulder, he shrugs it off. “Damian,” you whisper. You do it again, and this time he gives into the touch, before the tears start rolling down his cheeks. He collapses into your arms, and you gently sink to the ground with him, tossing the sword to the side.

“It was me.”

You run your fingers through his hair, “What was you?”

“It was me who killed him.”

You freeze, “What?”

He straightens a bit, “I killed the stalker. Todd was going to do it, but I beat him to it. He found me in the cell, he’s the one who got me out, and cleaned up.”

You take a deep breath, “Oh, Damian.”

You pull him closer and you let him cry, “It shouldn’t bother me. I’ve killed before. I killed the entire time growing up, so why does it bother me now? Why?”

You’re not quite sure what to say, “Oh, my baby.”

“I couldn’t let him hurt you again. I can’t lose you. You’re my mom.”

You don’t say anything else, you just pull him in closer, and let him cry.

married part 6- h.s imagine

you can read the previous part here

Harry smiled as he looked down at his mom on her wedding day as they were swaying back and forth on the dance floor. Anne smiled at her son but couldn’t help but notice that Harry’s eyes would glance over to his beautiful best friend sitting down at a table. She noticed whenever they caught each other’s gaze, they would blush and look away. “Harry” Anne spoke up, interrupting Harry’s staring. “Yes, mum?” Harry asked, his eyebrows quirking up. Anne smiled and placed her hand on his cheek. “Promise me that you’ll marry that girl someday.” Harry looked back over towards you. You had your hand placed over your mouth as you laughed at something his little cousin told you. Harry smiled and looked down before he looked into his mother’s eyes. “I promise.”

Growing up, you always thought having the “perfect ending” and “finding the one” was a total cliche. Whenever your friends described kissing their significant other, they would always describe the feeling of being on top of the world. You never believed that you would find someone who would be able to give you that feeling. You never believed that someone’s lips would be able to give you that much reassurance.

Until Harry kissed you.

As Harry’s lips met yours, you finally knew what everyone was talking about. Kissing Harry made you feel like you could take on the world. This kiss alone made you feel like all your worries and all your stress suddenly vanished into thin air. Kissing Harry felt right.

Slowly, you wrapped your arms around Harry’s neck as you kissed him back. You could feel Harry’s lips quirking into a smile as he kissed you. He wrapped his arms around your waist, trying to pull you closer as if he couldn’t bare to have you and further away from him.

When Harry kissed you, his best friend, he felt sparks. His lips felt like they were on fire. Never has he ever felt this way whenever he kissed Kimberly. It was in this kiss Harry knew that you were it for him. It was in this kiss did he realize just how in love with you he was.

What felt like an eternity, you finally pulled away. Both you and Harry were panting from the kiss. With closed eyes, Harry smiled as he rested his forehead against yours. A moment of silence passed between the two of you before Harry finally spoke up, “I can’t believe I waited so long to do that.”

You stepped out of Harry’s hold, wrapping your arms around yourself, suddenly feeing so ashamed. You shook your head as you whispered, “That was wrong, Harry.” As much as you loved the kiss and no matter how magical it felt, you were with Lucas and until the divorce was final, Harry was still married. You could literally see all the color from Harry’s face drain. You could see nothing but horror on his face as he backed into the wall behind him. You watched as his eyes took you in. It was like he was trying to understand the million thoughts going through your mind. You avoided eye contact with him as you stared at the ground, your eyes welling up with tears once again.

Suddenly Harry whispered, “But I love you, Y/N.”

You placed your hand over your mouth as you tried to choke back a sob that was trying to rip its way out of your body.

Harry slowly stepped closer to you. “It’s been a year since you told me you loved me, Y/N. Please, I need to hear you say it again. Please.”

When Harry was met with silence, he wiped his eyes. He looked down at his fidgeting fingers. “Do you still love me, Y/N?”

You looked up at Harry. As much as you wanted to scream out how much of an idiot he was and that of course you still loved him, you couldn’t. As much as you wanted to tell him that you don’t think you’ll ever stop loving him, you didn’t. Instead you said something you instantly regretted, “I fell in love with Lucas.”

You watched as Harry gasp for air. You watched as he placed his hand over where his heart was as if you actually broke it in pieces. You sniffed before you whispered, “I’m sorry, H.” Quickly, you walked back into the restaurant.

Harry placed his head in his hands as he dropped down to the floor. He brought his knees up to his chest as he cried the hardest he’s ever cried. Not giving a flying fuck who saw. Harry felt broken. Not only did he miss the opportunity to be with the love of his life, he lost his best friend.

You stared down at your lap as you sat in a silent uber with Lucas. Lucas was staring out of the window, not daring to say a word. He didn’t have to see Harry but he knew he was there tonight. He also knew that he was the reason why you had tear stained cheeks. Lucas glanced at you before he sighed. He took your hand in his. “Y/N? Do you want to talk about what happened tonight?”

You looked down at Lucas’s hand holding yours. You couldn’t help but think about how you felt absolutely nothing for this sweet man in front of you. You tried so hard to think about spending a future with Lucas. You thought Lucas was your chance of finally being happy. But after seeing Harry? After kissing Harry? You knew what you had to. You looked up at Lucas’s eyes filled with nothing but concern. You sighed before you whispered, “I can’t be with you anymore, Lucas.”

Lucas let go of your hand. Staring at his lap, he let out an, “Oh.” You shook your head as you inched closer to him. You placed your hand on his knee. “I can’t be the girl you need, Lucas. You’re so sweet and so caring. I don’t deserve you.”

Lucas nodded as he placed his hand on top of yours. “It’s okay, Y/N. I understand.” You leaned over and gave him a kiss on the cheek. Suddenly the car pulled in front of your apartment building. You thanked the uber driver and said a goodbye to Lucas before you got out of the car. You started to walk inside until Lucas called out your name. He had the window rolled down as he said, “I hope you get your happy ending with him one day, Y/N.”

You smiled. This boy really was something special. You knew he would make someone feel so happy one day. “I’ll see you at the wedding tomorrow.” You said before you made your way inside.

You let out a yawn as you stepped off the elevator, a tray of coffee in your hand. Whenever you closed your eyes, all you saw was Harry’s crying face. Guilt consumed your body as you thought about the lie you told Harry. You knew there was no way that you could fix it. You knew this was officially the end of an era. You sighed, hoping the makeup artist Emma hired for today will be able to conceal a broken heart. You knocked on Emma’s door before Olivia, another bridesmaid, opened the door for you. You gave her a small smile and hug before you walked into the hotel room.

Emma and Niall decided to have their wedding at one of the most beautiful hotels London had to offer, Hotel ZaZa. They both rented a room dedicated to the groomsmen to get ready and a room for the bridesmaids to get ready.

Emma’s eyes lit up as soon as she saw you. She walked over to you and gave you a hug before she grabbed the coffee tray out of your hands. “Y/N! Just in time, it’s your turn to get your makeup done.” You nodded as you sat in front of the makeup artist. The other two bridesmaids were sitting on the other side of the room getting their hair done. Emma sat down on the bed across from you. She noticed how quiet you were as the makeup artist was having at it on your face. “I saw you and Harry out on the patio last night.” Emma whispered softly. She saw the moment you pulled away from Harry after the kiss. She saw how Harry crumbled to the floor as you fled the scene. You glanced at Emma before you looked away.

“Do you want to talk about it softly?” Emma asked. You shook your head as the makeup artist was grabbing a brush. “No. It’s your wedding day. We should be focusing on you right now.” You smiled softly at Emma. “Are you ready to become Mrs. Horan?”

You smiled your best smile as you walked down the aisle. You looked straight ahead to see a very nervous Niall smiling at you. As you walked to where the other bridesmaids were standing, you mouthed to him, “You got this.”

Suddenly an instrumental version of “A Thousand Years” started to play, signaling the bride was coming. You smiled as you saw Emma walking down with her father. You remember when Emma told you that she wanted to walk down to this song, you thought it was silly. You thought it was a total cliche. But after seeing Emma smiling down at her husband to be with tears on both their faces, you knew this song was perfect for him. You truly knew they would love each other for thousands of years.

Finally the time came for Niall and Emma to say their vows to each other. You noticed Niall’s trembling fingers as he reached inside his suit pocket to grab his paper. He took a deep breath before he looked into Emma’s eyes.

“Emma, when I met you a year ago, I knew you were going to be the girl I married. After our second date, I promised myself that I would never hurt you. I promised that I will always be the one to make you laugh whenever you’re upset, to be the one that holds your hand when you need someone to talk to, and to be the one that you can call your best friend. The more that I’m with you, the more I forget the feeling of being lonely.”

As Harry was listening to Niall’s vows, he couldn’t help but look at you. God, he thought. You looked absolutely gorgeous. How was it that everyone’s eyes were on the bride but he couldn’t take his eyes off you? You were stunning. Harry’s eyes started to well with tears as he stared at his best friend. He couldn’t help but think that the next wedding you were going to be at would be your own with Lucas.

Emma cleared her throat before she promised her vows to Niall, “Niall Horan, I have never met someone that makes me laugh as much as you do. Never have I ever found someone that I can truly be myself with. You make me forget all of my troubles in the world and I could never thank you enough for that. I promise to always choose you. Whenever things get hard and whenever you need someone to talk to, I will be your best friend. I will be your wife.”

You wiped away a tear as you looked out into the guests. Immediately you were able to find Harry’s green eyes. You noticed how Harry was tearing up as he was staring back at you. You couldn’t help but think these were the kind of vows you always pictured yourself saying to Harry. You couldn’t get Harry off your mind.

“I now pronounce you husband and wife. Niall, you may kiss your bride.”

Emma smiled gratefully at you as she washed her hands. “Thank you so much, Y/N. I knew going to the restroom was going to be hard but I didn’t think it was going to be that hard.” You let out a chuckle as you were washing your own hands. Emma was practically begging you to help her pee while she was in her dress during dinner. How could you say no to the bride?

“No problem at all, love.” You replied as you dried your hands. You were about to walk out the restroom when you noticed Emma wasn’t following. You closed the door and turned around to see Emma staring off into space.

“Em? You ready?” You asked. Emma looked back at you and smiled. She pulled you into a hug. Confused, you returned the hug. Emma pulled away from the hug and pulled you over to the lounge area of the restroom. She sat on one of the couches and you followed after her. Emma grabbed your hand in hers. “Y/N. Even though I’ve known you for less than a year, I can happily say you’re one of my best friends.”

You smiled, “You’re my best friend too, Em.” Emma smiled before she continued, “In my relationship with Niall, you’ve been nothing but supportive. You’ve supported our love for each other from the start and I will always remain grateful. That’s why, as your best friend, I want nothing but you to be happy. And I know that being happy means being with Harry.”

You were about to object but Emma shook her head no. “When I saw you guys last night, it was obvious how much you guys loved each other. Anyone could clearly see that. When I saw you guys kiss, I was rooting for the two of you. I really was. Harry, he’s a good guy. And you deserve nothing but that. It broke my heart when I saw you run away. And when I saw how devastated Harry was? I thought that was it. I had to get you guys to understand that you guys had to come together, not run away. I know he’s hurt you. But you’ve hurt him too. Talk to him, make things right, allow yourself to be happy.”

By the end of Emma’s speech, you had her pulled into a tight hug. Emma smiled as she hugged you back. You pulled back from the hug as you smiled at Emma. “Thank you for that.”

Harry was sitting down at his assigned table, an untouched plate of food in front of him. He was watching Emma and her dad sharing their father-daughter dance until he felt a tap on his shoulder. He turned his head to find you standing behind him.

“H? Can we talk?”

Helena Bonham Carter and Tim Burton’s children in their father’s films ‘Alice in Wonderland’ (2010), ‘Dark Shadows’ (2012) and ‘Big Eyes’ (2014)

I don’t like Taylor Swift (I don’t hate her either but it’s close enough). I think she can be really fake and most of the things she does is for attention. Do I think she’s pretty? Objectively, yes. She’s attractive. Do I think she’s stylish? Hell yeah. Do I support her in her sexual assault case? Absolutely! Do I appreciate what she does for her fans and for charity? Sure. Do I like her yet? No. Not at all. I still think she’s petty and immature and she has a lot of growing up to do before I can even think of cautiously accepting her as an artist. But damn. Some of you stans of hers need to chill out. So what if I dislike your problematic fave?? How is that affecting you and your life??? I swear to god y'all are just as immature as she is. Lol.

( TRANS ) wonwoo’s japanese md pamphlet — february ‘17

my role in seventeen is ‘brains.’ i like books, be it mystery novels, historical novels, literature, poetry; i don’t choose based on genres. if there’s time, i’m always reading. after reading an emotional book, my tears don’t stop. i’m usually not the type to cry, but when i’m touched by a movie or book, my tears become a lot. recently, i read 3 of higashino keigo’s books. in korea, higashino keigo is very popular (his books). the one that left a deep impression on me was 'miracles of the namiya general store.’ it’s a story about communication between the past and the future via letters, it was very emotional.

my birthplace is changwon, gyeongsangnam-do. i can’t really remember much regarding kindergarten, but the thing that remained in my memory is a high slide. i often went to the nearby park with my friends, it was a very average childhood. in elementary school, i goodheartedly joked around and played with my friends. the most fun was after class, we would have a drawing battle on the blackboard. now that i think about it, it was comedic and cute. (laughs)

i liked playing with my friends, but i also liked doing stuff at home quietly, since then i often read books. in 1st grade someone bought me the whole set of the record of the three kingdoms, i read it multiple times. also, i liked solving quizzes on computer games.

i got into music in middle school. the rock band buzz was popular, so i got excited with my friends and said 'let’s try being a band too!’ and we learned how to play instruments together. i learned guitar, my friend learned drums. i had the vague dream of 'it would be good to have a concert in seoul someday,’ so i started going to a music academy. practicing dance with my friends, we even recieved an offer to stand on the stage of our middle school academy. i couldn’t dance well then, but it was a fun memory. (laughs)

at the suggestion of my teacher at the music academy, i went for an audition. i said to my friends, “if i have a dream to be an artiste, it’s definitely going to be a good experience,” i went to the audition with the purpose of gaining experinece, in the end i couldn’t believe i passed. so i came to seoul, and became a trainee from my 3rd year in middle school.

actually, before passing the audition, i thought 'when i grow up, i want to do music with my friends freely’ or 'i want to travel the world,’ there were a lot of things i had interest in, but i never thought about what i wanted to do for my future job. however, having passed the audition, i formed the goal of being a singer. my father is very happy and is supporting me for chasing my dream now. i’m always concerned about seventeen’s activities, so i search my name on the internet (laughs). my father looks after and treasures my family; at work, he’s someone who devotes himself to his work persistently. i respect him as a father, and looking at the back view of a man who lives confidently, there are a lot of things to learn from him. for the first 6 months in the dorm, there were so many things that i couldn’t get used to from my original lifestyle, it was tiring, but the friends who became trainees first taught me many things, and i could get used to it later on. when i got the sense of things, i could do well in terms of singing and dancing, it was like jumping over a wall. also, i felt reassured that i gained friends who did it with me.

originally, i listened to many genres of music. i also liked hip-hop, so i started doing rap. even thought it was my first time rapping, i was unexpectedly natural. i think rap matches me.

in my opinion, the charm of rap is its lyrics. writing about what you think and feel, and expressing it along with a rhythm was very fun. you can feel the charm of it especially when the rap is very natural. using literature as an example, a vocalist’s lyrics would be a poem, a rap would probably be an essay.

If I’m right, AND I DON’T REALLY WANT TO BE RIGHT, their final moment together doesn’t even get to be a private one, but one only fringing on the true affection between them. But the FLOATY BUBBLES SAY IT ALL, OK.

YOU CAN MEASURE FEELINGS IN FLOATY BUBBLES ALONE, AND LOOK HOW MANY THERE ARE.

The third panel is the most striking of them all, because I’m so sure that it’s their final touch. It’s an unusual angle with an unusual focus, and I think it’s emphasising that the end of this last gesture between them is their final goodbye. As he drops her hair for the last time, they will never see each other again. I just don’t know which one of them it is that’s about to die.

Hopefully not both but YOU KNOW HOW CLAMP IS. YOU JUST NEVER KNOW.

And then Kuropapa’s off to face his fate.

AND BLESS KUROGANE’S LITTLE HEART, HE WANTS TO GO TOO. BECAUSE HE FEELS ALL THE SAME FINALITY THAT HIS PARENTS DO BUT FROM WITHIN HIS EXTRA SPHERE OF POWERLESSNESS THAT SCARES AND FRUSTRATES HIM BEYOND WHAT HE KNOWS WHAT TO DO WITH.

SO HE WANTS TO HELP. HE WANTS TO DO ALL HE CAN TO TRY AND STOP ANYTHING BAD FROM HAPPENING.

BUT THERE IS NO WAY HE WILL BE ENOUGH.

No-one would ever be enough.

It kills me how even in this, Kuropapa does it in the nicest way possible.

He recognises the feelings Kurogane is having and affirms them. He acknowledges that Kurogane IS, in fact, strong, instead of taking the other possible route and insisting that he’s not strong enough. Because here, too, he knows that this might just be the last moment he gets, and he uses it as a moment of love and encouragement

AND THAT LITTLE HEAD TOUCH. GET OUT OF HERE.

There is no way this is anything but the last thing Kuropapa ever gets to say to him. There is NO WAY.

LOOK AT THE ART OK. THE NINJAS ARE ALL FADING AS THEY TURN AWAY AND WALK INTO THE DISTANCE.

THIS IS IT. THEY’RE ALL GONNA DIE.

It’s so clear just how much these final words chained themselves around Kurogane’s heart and never left him. Even during his darkest days in the future, his obsession with strength always stemmed from this, and it’s so easy to guess that his bitterness and focus on revenge could have stemmed from an inverted version of this final statement that Kuropapa gives him.

Kurogane, at his worst, sought strength to make up for the family he didn’t couldn’t save in this moment.

Kurogane, as he grows to a better and healthier version of himself, realises that he has more family to protect, and also that he himself might also be worth protecting.

But even just here, in this one moment, Kurogane’s father’s words work on so many levels. Kuropapa does what he does to protect Kurogane, his wife, and the entire clan – even when the odds are very heavily implying that he won’t be enough. Kuromama too does what she does to protect them all. Her health is failing her, steadily slipping away, and yet she insisted on the final blessing to save her husband, because her strength too is all focussed around saving the ones she loves – her husband AND her entire clan, and everyone else in the country that relies on her.

And that’s what will hit Kurogane so hard later. Not only because losing his family in a horrible and violent manner is one of the worst things that could ever happen, but also because in his eyes he failed in the same basic tenant that holds his family together. He wants to go with his father to help protect Suwa, but he can’t. He’s meant to stay behind and help protect his mother, but he doesn’t manage that either. His strength, while recognised fondly by his father, is not enough – was never going to be enough. And that’s exactly what sends him into such horrifying spiral of murder and revenge and a desperate clawing need to reclaim some sense that he could have made a difference.

AND JESUS CHRIST WHAT IS SYAORAN GOING TO DO WITH THIS INFORMATION. HE’S ALREADY READY TO THROW HIMSELF UNDER A BUS TO RESCUE EVEN A SLIVER OF SAKURA’S SOUL. WE DON’T NEED TO ENCOURAGE THESE TENDENCIES WITHIN HIM ANY FURTHER THAN THEY ALREADY EXIST.

But actually, now that I think about it, that might be all the difference. Kurogane’s arc in the manga overall (so far) is slowly healing and allowing himself to recover. I have a lot of confidence that he’ll pull it off, because he’s come a long way already, and he’ll be all the stronger to protect his new family.

I just hope that it’s the new Kurogane that has the biggest influence on Syaoran and not the old one. Because Syaoran needs to allow himself to heal as well, and I’m convinced that he doesn’t even know it yet.

When Arabs say Ya'aburnee
We mean,
There’s no place for me in a world
without you in it.
There’s no more happiness in a world,
if you’re not here minute by minute.

A mother will embrace her baby
and whisper
the words she heard from her
mother’s tongue
Ya'aburnee
May you bury me,
before I bury you.

One day, this same child
will grow up and find her love,
and she will whisper
the words she heard from her
mother’s tongue
Ya'aburnee
May you bury me,
Before I bury you.

For there is no place for me in a world,
without you in it.
There’s no more happiness in a world,
if you’re not here minute by minute.
And may we meet in the heavens,
if the lord permits it.

BTS Spring Day Theory: Jimin’s Youth

Warning: this theory is extremely long

Okay so I am absolutely shook after that music video; there are so many things to think about. However, after reading this theory, things make a bit more sense (credit to the owner of the post). To summarize, Spring Day is about BTS giving up their youth and transitioning into adulthood. They do this by throwing out their old clothes, do rebellious things one last time as teenagers do, and ride the train which symbolizes their transition from youth into being adults.

Now, something I noticed throughout the entire video is that Jimin looks pretty upset the entire time – which I will explain in a bit. Not to say the other members don’t, there were times where they looked unhappy too, but that’s explained later too.

Now going back to the theory of Spring Day being about BTS leaving their youth behind: I think that the video displays each member becoming an adult one by one, however, it’s not done by oldest to youngest as you would think.

First, we have Namjoon:

He walks into the room where everyone else is and he has this sort of look of sternness like he’s about to scold everyone else for goofing off.

He’s also the only one who doesn’t join on the goofing off with everyone else, as he lets everyone throw things at him. He has already made the transition into adulthood while the others are still in their youth.

Second is Seokjin:

He is the only one who stays in the middle at the bottom of the stairs while the others playfully run upstairs and look down at him. He has now made the transition as well.

Taehyung is next:

I believe Taehyung to be the next one as he follows Seokjin in his finger-camera pose. We also see him frequently seeming being connected to Jin throughout the video, which means that he’s followed in his footsteps – when Jin becomes an adult, so does Taehyung.

Then, it’s Jungkook:

We see him with the birthday cake, which is an obvious symbol of growing up. So, Jungkook has now left his youth and has become an adult. Although, it seems like he doesn’t exactly want to let go of it as we can see him looking quite upset throughout the rest of the video. He seems almost scared to make the transition and we see this in the train scene where he’s running through each room, frantically trying to find everyone else.

However, he seems much more relieved when he finds them and this symbolizes that he is able to accept the transition when he has his friends with him. (Keep this in mind, it’ll be brought up again)

In this shot, he looks quite relieved to see he has his hyungs to support him and help him leave his youth behind happily.

Yoongi is next:

Yoongi sits on a pile of clothes, which like I mentioned before, symbolizes growing up because you’re throwing out old, worn out clothing.

Then, it’s Hoseok:

He sits on top of the train, and in previous shots, he has this expression of liberation – showing that he’s accepted his transition. Then, we see him throwing a paper airplane (a symbol of childhood and playfulness) which shows that he is leaving his youth.

Okay, so 6/7 of the members have successfully made the transition…but what about Jimin? Going back to what I said earlier about how Jimin looked upset for the majority of the video – I think that his situation is similar to Jungkook’s in that he is scared to leave his youth because he knows the change is coming and that unsettles him. He is desperately trying to hang onto that last bit of childhood that he can. He seems to be very lonely throughout the entire video and I think this symbolizes him feeling isolated because he doesn’t want to grow up while the other members are transitioning.

The first thing I saw was when he was at the beach, alone. Then, in the shot with the birthday cake:

Jimin is the only one not looking at the cake while the other members eye it quite warily – showing that they may have some fears or reluctance to grow up as well, but Jimin is the one hanging onto his childhood the most.

Then we have the shoes:

I know that when the teaser came out, everyone was thinking that the shoes and Jimin hanging up the shoes meant that someone had died. But I think it’s actually a symbol of him hanging onto that last piece of youth as I said before. With Yoongi’s transition, we see the pile of clothing which symbolizes his transition by throwing out the old. For Jimin, these shoes are the last piece of youth and he is trying to hang onto them because he doesn’t want to grow up.

The shoes show up once again at the laundromat and then we see Jin looking towards the clothing in the washer – this could be a stretch but I think it could symbolize the next chapter of their lives as adults and because Jimin has yet to make the transition, this is also why he doesn’t appear in the camera shot from inside the washing machine that looks out towards Jin.

Now if you go back to the train scene at the end – we know that Jungkook has made the transition to adulthood, and as I said before, he seemed pretty scared, but having his hyungs with him gave him a bit of relief and he is finally able to happily accept it. The train scene symbolizes the members helping Jungkook make the transition, but it also symbolizes them trying to help Jimin.

We see Hoseok here comforting Jimin as he looks quite lonely and upset – it’s like Hoseok is trying to reassure him not to be afraid. (notice Jimin and Jungkook are the only ones sitting in their own booths as they seem to be the most hesitant to let go).

Finally, they reach wherever they were going, and Jimin is the first to exit the train. He now seems a bit more free as if he can, at last, make his transition knowing he has everyone with him for support.

He smiles at last and calls for the other members to follow him out. And where are they going? The tree.

Jimin walks slightly ahead of them and he knows, he knows that this is the place he will leave his youth behind and finally be able to be happy with his other members.

He brought the shoes with him, the last piece of his childhood and he looks towards the tree hopefully – he’s accepted that he has to let it go or else he’ll never be truly happy. He was so upset and lonely throughout the video, clutching onto his shoes and watching the other members as if he couldn’t understand why they were able to let go of their youth when he couldn’t. So why was he able to get closure and hang up the shoes? Why was he able to finally make the transition?

Because You Never Walk Alone.
