because she put so much effort into telling people to send me pics

My Boss’ Son

So I uh…wrote fic. This is the first thing I’ve finished in a while. Just a quick thing I wrote while at work. It’s unbeta’d with no reread because I didn’t want to give myself a chance to hate it.

Stiles liked his boss. He knew a lot of people didn’t like theirs, and he knew he was lucky. Talia Hale was beautiful, and could be pretty tough if you didn’t do your job, but Stiles loved what he did too.

Network administration wasn’t for everyone, but Stiles saw doing it for a rapidly growing business as a challenge. The pay was nothing to sneeze at either. At this rate, his student loans would be paid off in half the time, and Talia always listened if Stiles needed something. Especially new equipment.

The only problem with Talia was that she kept trying to set him up with her son.

Almost Never

Just a cute little oneshot that takes place in the Do No Harm universe during their pre-Talon affair. Thank you to @dinochoobs, who always has good ideas somehow.

Haven’t read DNH yet? You should! I promise this is chock full of references to the fic that you  will enjoy.

Amelie’s phone chirped with the familiar tone of an incoming text message. She definitely didn’t have it resting on her chest while she laid down on the hideous purple couch and pretended to watch television. She definitely didn’t leave it there to make sure she didn’t miss any incoming messages. She definitely wasn’t waiting for Angela to call her. Definitely not.

Angela usually called, so maybe it wasn’t her. Regardless, the alert stirred Amelie from her vegetative state. She only realized that she’d already seen this episode of the baking competition show she had on when her eyes strayed to the holo screen for a moment and looked at it, not through it. She picked her phone up off of her collarbone and swiped in her security pattern.

It took her two tries. She never used to use one, before. Having something to hide was still new to her.

Feyrhys and the AU “I was trying to take a sneeky picture of you because i told my friend about the hot guy on the train and she wanted to see but you totally noticed and yeah this is awkward”

A/N: ok i really love this AU.  And I kinda (by kinda i mean definitely) want to write more in this universe, so let me know what you all think! @rhysndtrash I did the thing! [Part 2!]

~ Rattled ~

Shooting a furtive glance toward her slumbering companion, Feyre bit her lip and tugged her cellphone from the pocket of her messenger bag.

I think I found my muse

There’s a delay in reply, which Feyre fills by scrolling through Tumblr and Instagram, grinning faintly at a few kind comments and tags on her latest piece, which is a misleading characterization unless one considers ‘latest’ to mean over six months.  Still, its good for her ego.

She’s halfway through reading a ranting conspiracy theory, which managed to connect heelys and Roswell, when an alert drops down at the top of her screen from Mor.

Oo.  intriguing.  is he hot?

Smirking despite herself, Feyre opens the message to respond.

I never said it was a he

I could be talking about a non-human for all you know

Three dots appear almost immediately and she settles back against the worn but pleasantly clean faux velvety seat, sipping at her fountain drink only to be met with a mouthful of watered down Sprite.  Gross.

pretty sure thats illegal

also that doesnt sound like a denial to me…

Rolling her eyes, Feyre answers back,

ew thanks for making that gross

and fine.  it’s a guy.  but this isn’t about hotness.  artists have muses that they remain platonic with

mhmmm.  so is this going to be a fling or are we talking long term life partners?

whats your stance on marriage as an institution?

Feyre lets out a snort at that, then quickly checks to be sure she hasn’t woken sleeping beauty.  Because he is…beautiful that is.  Purely from an artistic perspective.  This isn’t romantic attraction.  She definitely didn’t think about mouthing her way across his sharp jaw bone while his hands gripped-

i hate you

As if Mor had expected that answer, she fires back almost immediately

no u dont.  and send pics

what are you favorite top degrassi seasons?

This question is so difficult!! I’m serious I spent an hour writing down all the seasons and weighing all the pro’s and con’s of each season to figure out the order I would put these in. I know you didn’t ask me to rank all the seasons and tell you why I think that… but I am… because I feel like it… so let’s move from the worst to the best shall we?

18. Season 11 - I hated it the first time I watched it. I hated it the second time I watched it. I don’t plan on sitting through the whole thing ever again. I loved the introduction of Zaya and that is about it. I didn’t ship anything. This was the season that made me stop shipping Eclare which I literally used to OTP so hard.

17. Season 13 - This was the only season that I ever completely stopped watching because I was so bored. I was still nursing my heartbreak over losing Cam and then all of a sudden they ripped Adam from me too. After that I tried to keep up but I just didn’t really care because it hurt too much. Maya was moving on with Miles (which I still don’t get the appeal) and Zig was all but forgotten up until halfway through. The Paris plot was so stupid. And Alli one of my favorite girls was being uncharacteristically dumb (and she’s not very bright as it is). And to top it all off they gave Clare cancer for about 10 episodes then all of a sudden she was better! (I’m not even gonna mention Ew… I mean Clew) Lol no. Bye.

16. Season 14 - 14B just swooped in and saved the entire show for me. After the longest hiatus the show has ever had and about a year and a half after me only watching this show when I noticed it was on, the promise of seeing Alli Bhandari and Clare Edwards graduating was just enough to pull me back in. So before 14B I binge-watched season 13 and the first half of 14 (because I didnt really pay attention the first time) and BOY IT CHANGED MY LIFE. Not because the storylines were good but BECAUSE. OF. ZAYA. Never in my life had I gone from hating a ship (yeah yeah Zig was trying to break up Camaya so I hated him) to thinking it was the most well built pairing on the show. The rest of 14 was crap though. Zoe forcing people to send boob pics = dumb. Clare’s baby plot = dumber. So yeah I fell in love with Degrassi again because of Zaya and it’s probably the reason I’m here today.

15. Season 1 - Shocked to find what started it all so low on the list? Yeah me too but that’s the way the cookie crumbles. Overall not much happened this season. It built the world that we left behind in Degrassi High over again and introduced us to the new generation and thats about it. But Sean and Emma’s first date, Emma’s first period, and the ecstasy plot = CLASSIC DEGRASSI.

14. Season 8 - No one is surprised. Honestly though I LOVEEE this era of Degrassi. This was the first season I watched from beginning to end as it was airing so it will always hold a special place in my heart. Not only did I instantly love Alli and Clare to bits, but finally my all time favorite character Johnny DiMarco had an actual girlfriend and showed that he actually has real feelings. WOW.

13. Season 9 - Yeah this is only a step up from season 8 because it was the epitome of Dolly J. The chemistry was through the roof. One of the hottest couples Degrassi has ever had. Plus this season had MORE JOHNNY so yeah I loved it but not a huge amount of hot topics were covered.

12. DNC Season 2 - It covered hot topics but it didn’t really have that spark. I think since it was made at the same time as DNC season 1 that they put so much effort into making the first half great so it could attract more people but yeah it was a bummer. Honestly the only reason it’s above s8&9 is because of the reunion episode and the Craig Manning appearance… I appreciate them attempting the Black Lives Matter plot but it didn’t get me in the gut. I much preferred the Connor and Dallas racism plot in season 13 even if it wasn’t fully fleshed out.

11. Season 10 - This was when Degrassi reinvented itself for the first time and I must say it had me hooked from the beginning. This was when they started airing an episode a day for several weeks and it was so exciting. Everyone was falling for Eclare. And Adam was stealing everyone’s heart. It was so exciting and different and really a breath of fresh air. Were the plots amazing and jaw dropping? No not really but it kept me super entertained and frankly saved the show and I will gladly give the credit where credit is due. But seriously… Eli was better when he was with Morty just sayin…

10. DNC Season 1 - This was the second time that Degrassi reinvented itself and it was MUCH better done than season 10 was. After being so scared of losing the show altogether, seeing the beginning of Next Class really gave me hope. The cast was smaller and so were the lengths of the seasons but they worked so much harder to really make all the plots count and make every minute of screentime the best it could possibly be. After 4 seasons of really long seasons full of random plots that didnt always make the most sense, watching this season felt like coming home to the Degrassi that I fell in love with because for the first time in a long time they really cared about making EVERY plot the best it could possibly be. They still had a couple of kinks and issues to work out but this season really felt like it “went there” again.

9. Season 5 - The first time ever watching the characters you’ve grown up with graduate from Degrassi is one of the hardest things. DTNG’s 100th episode and S5 finale, High Fidelity will still make me cry at the drop of a hat. Watching Paige, Ellie, Marco, and Hazel graduate and thinking that you’ll never see them again still hurts me so much. And the scene where Jimmy forgives Spinner - SO MANY TEARS. Also this season gave us the iconic Manny line “You can sell this for a million dollars because I’m gonna be famous.” Also Darcy and Spinner’s Christianity plot still hold such a special place in my heart.

8. Season 6 - This season was a rollercoaster. One minute I’m flipping out over Sean and Emma being back together then the most heartbreaking TV death in the history of TV ripped my heart out. To this day I cannot watch Rock This Town without bawling my eyes out. I mourned for JT as if I had grown up with him myself. No other fictional character has ever made me feel emotions that were THAT REAL before. As sad as it was it was the moment that sealed Degrassi as my favorite show of all time and even though it’s been 9 years nothing else has even come close.

7. Season 7 - Probably the darkest season the show has ever had. It began with Darcy’s rape and then followed her entire journey throughout the whole semester. On top of that we see Spinner reach the darkest place he has ever been when he gets cancer. And boy this season was just so sad. Especially with the addition of all the Lakehurst kids who we’d eventually learn to love like Holly J, Jane, Sav and Anya. On top of that we get to see Emma, Manny, Liberty, Toby, Spinner, and Jimmy graduate which really was a LONG time coming. These were the people who began the show and now that they were leaving it truly was the end of the Golden Era of Degrassi.

6. Season 4 - This was the season that showed how dark the show could really get and it ultimately proved that Degrassi would “go there.” The fact that still to this day one of the most well known pieces of information about Degrassi is that Jimmy got shot by Rick truly iconic. It’s impossible for me to watch Time Stands Still without getting chills. Also this season featured Kevin Smith and who doesn’t love Kevin Smith.

(to be fair these top 5 are all pretty equal in my eyes and the order in which they come changes frequently)

5. DNC Season 3 - The first thing to note about this season is that it was released at 2am in the morning and I stayed up all night and watched the sunrise because I simply had to finish it all in one sitting. After s14 I was sure that the days of Degrassi’s fantastic seasons were through with and when Next Class began I thought there may be potential but this season went above and beyond all of my expectations. For one MAYA MATLIN. I cannot sing enough praises to the writers for treating her depression and suicide attempt in such a realistic way. And Lola’s abortion plot was the best one they have ever done and was handled in the most beautiful way. This season truly was the darkest season since season 7 and everything about it was So. On. Point.

4. Season 3 - Some of the best and most iconic episodes are from this season and they are the ones that time and time again I find myself rewatching because they never get old. Father Figure, Pride, Holiday, Accidents Will Happen, Take On Me, and Rock & Roll High School all have a solid place on my favorite episodes ever list. This season helped to build Degrassi into the longstanding and iconic show that it has become. During this season we no longer had to introduce characters and get used to them. By now we knew most of our main cast and they instantly felt like family - a concept that is the single most important reason why Degrassi is my favorite show ever.

3. DNC Season 4 - Even though it just came out, I could not imagine putting it any lower on this list. This season accomplished everything I could have possibly wanted and more. The genderfluid plot was so well done and it is something I’ve wanted the show to cover for years. And it tackled terrorism and Islamophobia. Not to mention that this season bid adieu to possibly my favorite graduating class that the show has ever had. It gave each and every one of them the respect and closure that they deserved while not granting any unrealistic and too good to be true endgames (*cough* Eclare). The season focused on the characters themselves and not just their romantic relationships and it really solidified who they have become as people and how much they have grown. And best of all it opened the door for a newer class to come in and keep the show going strong.

2. Season 12 - Wow this season came out of nowhere. In the midst of 2 of the worst seasons Degrassi has ever had was this gem. What made it stand out is that for once the writers went into the season with a plan of where they were going and where they wanted the characters to end up. The entire season was building to Cam’s suicide and how all the characters would be affected by it. Therefore this season had more direction and meaning that many seasons before it were severely lacking. Not only was the over arching plot of this season fantastic, the smaller pieces of it were as well. I was so invested in Campbell Saunders from the moment he showed up on my screen. His relationship with Maya became one of my favorites the show has ever done and it also made me love Maya as a character. This season was also the epitome of Eclare’s relationship for me. They were healthy and in love and finally on the same page (well until Bitter Sweet Symphony). We also had fantastic ships like Fimogen, Drianca, Jatie, Jonnor, and the beginnings of Bhandallas to pass the time. And another one of my favorite Christianity plots featuring Jenna took place in this season. This season’s success caught me by complete surprised and drew me in when I was beginning to not care about the show anymore. More specifically Campbell Saunders and Dylan Everrett’s acting saved Degrassi for me. Without that character I don’t know if I would still be watching the show. His character made me believe that Degrassi still had the ability to make me feel these emotions that other TV shows can’t and therefore this season holds such a special place in my heart.

1. Season 2 - The first time I watched it I did not realize that this would be my favorite season ever. Because to me this season is the Degrassi essentials. It is the bare bones of what makes this show great in every way. Craig’s introduction in When Doves Cry will forever be the greatest introduction to a character I’ve ever seen. It’s so rare to meet a new character and become so drawn in and attached in a single hour that it blew me away. Degrassi introducing Craig as a new character in the season premiere and showing him having an abusive parent was absolutely heartbreaking. To be honest the first time I watched it I didnt understand. I was too young to fully grasp the magnitude of how important this episode was but it was. Moving forward, this season also went on to introduce Marco and Ellie and cover Paige’s rape which was the first time Degrassi truly “went there.” Another personal unsung favorite of mine is Don’t Believe The Hype that shows Hazel’s struggle to accept her heritage and it’s the first plot covering Islamophobia. And how could I possibly not mention one of the most iconic episodes to date, White Wedding that features Spike and Snake getting married with most of their old Degrassi High friends in attendance. This episode also features the cutest most adorable first kiss between Sean and Emma that stole my heart in season 1 but gained OTP status by season 2. In essence, season 2 is the heart of Degrassi.

Duckmans Guide on how not to pick up women.

Hello there friends! Your friendly neighborhood Duckman here, with some advice on how NOT to approach women on the internet. I’m going to go through some common tactics I’ve seen in use, and talk about where we’re going wrong with this, mmmkay? Fair warning, I’m looking at this from a fairly heterosexual world view, because that’s what I mostly know.

REMINDER: There are ALWAYS exceptions to everything. This is just how not to offend the VAST MAJORITY of women. This list is not all inclusive, it only calls out behavior I’ve seen a bunch.

Penis Pictures- Oh my god, guys, men, friends, please for the love of god stop doing this. Unless somewhere on her profile it states ‘Please send me pictures of your penis as a way of introduction,’ she is NOT interested in opening up a new message to see your schlong. While opening up with the cock shot does reveal to her your intentions, it does not engage her interest. To be perfectly honest, most man pole looks the same as the others, and rarely is interesting enough to be the star of the show. Trust me friends, when you’ve flirted with a girl for a while, there may come a time when she asks to see the might of your manhood. Then, and only then, when she has verbally acknowledged a desire to see your meatstick, that’s when you whip it out.

Random Friend Request From Nowhere: All right guys, I know what it’s like. You’re on a cool site like Facebook, or fetlife, and you see a pretty face. You admire her pictures, you think you two could click, so you send her a friend request, right? WRONG. Let’s look at this from two aspects here-

Facebook-The majority of women on Facebook are not there looking for dates, or hook ups. The ones who are, are likely in groups that advocate that… and it’s still not okay to send them that random friend request. Facebook, as a platform, is generally best used to talk to people you already know, be it from real life interactions, or some other way online. People on facebook are looking to interact with friends and family, not Joe Schmoe who wants to tell them how pretty they are, or wonder if they’re interested in a quickie behind the local bus stop.

Fetlife: Here is where it gets hard (heh heh) for many men. After all, these women are not just posting cute selfies, but naked pictures of their bodies! They MUST be seeking friend with a virile, manly stud such as yourself! Sadly, that’s often a no. See, the wonderful thing about Fetlife is that, in addition to friending people, you can also read their profiles, where they put all sorts of wonderful things about themselves… including, quite often, whether or not they accept friend requests from strangers! So read those profiles, and, if it says they don’t, then don’t try!

Thinking something doesn’t apply to you: So, on a lot of dating sites, they give people space to write a profile. Many people put a lot of effort into these profiles. They will put in said profiles what they are looking for, and who should contact them. It may say things like “I’m a lesbian,” “Not looking for anyone over 50,” or “I’m asexual.” It is your responsibility, as the one reaching out, to read these profiles, and LISTEN to them. If you message a woman who has on her profile “I’m only here to tease people, don’t expect me to put out,” you can not then complain that she doesn’t put out.  It’s also SUPER bad manners to think you can change someones desires, just like that. Some of these distinctions and requests may seem weird to you, or may upset you because they exclude you:

Suck it up buttercup. No one is required to interact with you.

The state of their genitalia: This covers everything from “Are you wet right now?” To “Are you pre op or post op?” Until you are in a relationship with this person, it’s none of your business. Even then, it’s only your business if they make it so.
Hey, Hello, hey there, yo, what’s up, how ya doing: All of these greetings are fine, if sometimes exasperating, for people you already know and are good friends with. For people you are trying to flirt with, or otherwise engage with…. It’s not going to get you anywhere. Even in those cases when someone replies, it goes like-

“Hi.”

“Hi.”

“What’s up?”

“Not much, You?”

“Not a lot.”

“Okay.”

And as we can plainly see, that gets you nowhere. Engage with these women you’re attempting to woo! Tell them WHY you’re messaging them. (We’ll get into some of the problematic whys further down.) Ask questions. If there is a profile? USE it. Maybe she mentions liking smooth jazz, and so you can ask her fi she’s ever been to a Kenny G concert, or if she talks about being a juggalette, maybe send her a picture of you with a bottle of faygo. (Do not include your naked junk in said picture. See first point.) Talk to her like a real person, ask about her interests, talk about your own, and what you’re seeking.

Hey Beautiful, Gorgeous, Baby, Darling, etc: Now this is one of those variable ones. For the most part, women are not okay with men they do not know appending labels to them. Once you get to know them, this can be a different story… But including it in a first message implies a familiarity that may not be welcome. Not just that, but, well, it’ so played out. Every guy thinks he can be special by telling a girl she’s pretty… So, as a result, a whole lot of girls have heard it all before and it just comes off as one more douchebag.

For the love of god, don’t lead with your fetishes: So, you’re looking for a girl to do naughty things to you. Or one you can do naughty things to. Good for you! You know who doesn’t want to hear it? The MAJORITY of women online. When you send a message that starts off with “You’d look so much better on your knees,” or “I have a 15 gallon drum of industrial strength lube, and a horse farm,” you’re going to scare most people off. Hell, even on fetish sites, you have to remember that not everyone shares your fetishes. Let’s use Fetlife again… The women there have profiles, and nice long lists of what kinks they have interest in. Many of them also have roles set up “Domme,” “Submissive,” “Babygirl,” which indicate what they are looking for. If you go to a lass who is labeled as dominant, and instruct her to get on your knees before you, you’re going to have a bad time.

So, 1) make sure your fetishes click. 2) Make sure she’s LOOKING for that. Generally, if someone is seeking, or romantically/sexually available on any such site, they will make it known. 3) Even if your fetishes do click, and she is looking, don’t assume she’s looking for you.  Sometimes, you’re just not what she wants.

Begging for pics: If she doesn’t know you, and has no reason to care about you, she’s not going to send you naked pictures of herself. Make a relationship/friendship first, and then see what she’s up for. Even then, don’t beg. Ask. If she says no, move on.

I’m a nice guy!:  If you have to tell people you are a nice guy, you sadly aren’t Sorry, yes it’s unfair, but it’s just the way it is. This also applies to ‘feminist,’ ‘not a racist,’ etc… the more you try to claim you are, the more clearly people think you aren’t.

Any references to age: Whether it’s “Oh, you don’t look that old!” or “You look like a minor, so I had to check,” there is no good (easy) way to reference age. While there are some good hard ways, it’s one of these advanced lessons in flirting that we aren’t covering here. Just leave age off the table.

Any references to weight: Okay, SERIOUSLY this is a huge minefield. You have no way to know ahead of time how someone feels about their weight. Especially don’t say things like “I really like bbw,” or “You’re very pretty for a big girl,’ or ‘I usually don’t like big girls, but you’re really pretty.” No, just, no.

Negging: Fuck this shit. Do not tear down women in the hopes of getting somewhere. This is a dick move, and do not do it. Period.

DON’T BE A DOUCHEBAG WHEN YOU ARE TURNED DOWN OR IGNORED!: I see this all the time.

“Hey, you’re beautiful, wanna hang out?”

“No, I have a boyfriend.”

“Fuck you you ugly whore, no one wants you anyways!”

Or

“Hey.

What’s up.

You there?

Wanna fuck?

Listen you bitch, the least you could do is tell me no. Yer a stupid etc etc etc.”

And that last one usually occurs in the span of 15 minutes! Guys, just because it says a girl is online, doesn’t mean she actually is paying attention! And if she doesn’t respond to you, there’s a reason! Elsa that shit, and let it go!
For the love of god, there is no reason to insult a girl just because she’s not interested. There are billions of people on this planet. The vast majority of them are not interested in you… and that’s okay! Be the bigger man, tip your hat to her, and walk away. It’s ok, you won’t hurt yourself doing it, it doesn’t make you less of a man, just let it be.

Pushing: I mentioned it above, but I feel it needs its own. For the love of god, don’t keep pushing. If someone says “I have no interest in making you my toilet,” then, what they mean is “I have no interest in making you my toilet.” You can not turn a no into a yes by being annoying about it. In fact, all you do is make that no more intense.

Thinking you know better than her: We get told a lot in society that no means yes. That women don’t know their own mind. And, we see this reflected in mens approached to women. You get guys telling a girl they know her real place is underneath him, or being his baby girl, or that she’ll actually like sex with him, as opposed to all the other times she tried. A woman knows her own mind. Take what she says at face value. If she means something different, she’ll tell you.

Wrap up: So, in the end, how do you approach women on line?

Carefully.

Remember, you’re not the only one approaching them. There’s lots of guys out there seeking the same thing. You need to prove that you’re interesting, not a creep, and worth talking to. You need to show them you are personable, friendly, funny, charming, witty, clever… You know, all the things they are looking for.

You also need to go into any attempted encounter with the understanding that friendship is not taking second place. If you cultivate a friendship, you have someone you can talk to about stuff, hang out with, and you know, be friends. Men and women can be friends without sex in the way. And, here’s a tip, straight from the Ducks Bill: If you have female friends, real friends, people who know who you are, and know you’re not just friends with them in hopes of trying to get some from them, THEY WILL HELP YOU GET A GIRL. No, seriously, if they know you’re a real good guy, and not a Good Guy™ who is just pretending, they will introduce you to their single friends. Seriously, it works!

So, be a good person, get laid. End of Guide.

Jared and P&S campaign

Hi Sera, hope you’re having a nice Easter! I’ve been having some hatty thoughts today and thought I’d get your opinion.

Scrolling through IG and Twitter, its apparent that there’s been a real swing in who is promoting the P&S campaign, and who is putting the effort behind it.

Since the initial push at the end of March, it’s been almost entirely Jared’s social media pushing the campaign. G has not posted anything about the campaign since 5th April on her Twitter and 3rd April on her IG - despite pretty much daily posts about other stuff (that’s more than 10 days ago in a time-limited campaign!). While its almost certainly not Jared himself posting on his accounts, they’ve been used to promote the campaign almost daily through either posts or IG stories. He’s also the one that’s signing the hearts, which is also strange: I understand that he is the bigger name, his signature has more value, but surely as a joint campaign to mark their daughter’s birth they could both sign?

That all leads me to some speculation: the charity element of the campaign is Jared’s, or at least the charities are his preference. Despite both Js general lack of political statement, they strike me as charities that Jared would want to support (didn’t he donate to Obama? and he immediately wanted to support LGBTQ charities after the tragedy at Pulse). They are definitely the kind of politically controversial charities he would not be allowed to support in his own name at the moment (SPN is in the top five programmes of both Republican and Democrat supporters). I’d therefore suggest that we are starting to get an idea of the deal that was made here: Jared’s support for Gs new blog and what will presumably be ongoing, non-charitable collaboration with P&S, in return for Jared’s choice of charities, but helpfully for TPTB purposes under G’s name. As a result, we’re seeing little bits of Jared interacting with fans in ways he’s always seemed to value - through seeing people’s pics with the hearts, signing things to send out and taking pics at cons, so hopefully something positive is coming out it.

Sorry for the long post but would be interested to get your thoughts!

Hello, dear Em!

Thank you for messaging me, this is a very interesting angle you’re presenting! I hadn’t even noticed how the promoting of that campaign had shifted from both of their social medias to rely on Jared’s. Truth be told, I have mostly just ignored the campaign since the launch.

Your speculation makes sense to me. Wasn’t G donating money to Mitt Romney’s presidential campaign back in the day? I’m definitely not claiming to know what her political stance is these days, but that tells me she wasn’t always so liberal. Maybe Jared picked the charities indeed? We’ll probably never know. I agree that the network would probably not want him directly owning up to that, even though they let M be open about his political stance.

I think Jared’s signed hearts might be because the campaign doesn’t seem to be doing so well. When it was launched three weeks ago, G’s caption said “They are super limited edition so will run out quickly!” So, they are either not that limited or they’ve greatly overestimated the demand. I wonder if G is not signing any because it would be a hassle to arrange for them both to sign or whether she realises her current lack of starpower.

What I find strange about this campaign is that they’re seem to be willing to sacrifice Jared’s social media following in the benefit of G’s. Or at least it looks like that, considering “Jared” is doing the marketing as of now. It was puzzling how the man failed to mention the campaign at Seattle con. I had already thought that maybe he wasn’t much involved in it, so his silence somehow spoke volumes to me. Is Jared’s following “expendable” because he’s planning on retiring from showbusiness after Supernatural ends?

I’m uncertain about whether or not Jared is looking at the purchases fans are making. It would be lovely if he did, but the sceptic in me protests - he did undermine the campaign somewhat by spilling the news of O’s birth to a bunch of fans in Austin. I don’t know if that affected the campaign at all, but it looked to me like an act that defied G’s big plans.

I’m sure that after the end of this campaign, G will soon follow with some sort of commercial activity. She already did that with the birthing tea and eyelash thing at least, so it really wouldn’t surprise me if she kept doing little ads like those while aiming higher.

Urgh, I’m sorry this turned out so long, dear Em! I hope your Easter went well, too. Mine was slow and relaxing, just what I needed to fuel me for another two weeks on the road. Have a very lovely week!

BETHANY YOUNG. This therefore means Charlotte and Bethany are sisters. It’s just makes so much sense.

I have done theories on the second child being Spencer or Sara, however those theories were based on interpretations. What I present to you today, is concrete evidence that it is Bethany… I’ve never been more convinced on an idea! I genuinely hope you enjoy and please let me know what you think!

She didn't apologize at all though? Not once. She claimed she was taken "out of context". She won't even admit she said it at all, let alone that she shouldn't have said it. It wasn't an apology, it was a lecture to us for daring to be insulted.

So? Like, honestly, I rather care than write some stuff I’ve already seen on my dash. Saying that she’s ignorant, or stupid, or I don’t know what is not okay. We don’t know anything about her, or what she’s been through because one showrunner decided to put his fantaisies in priority of his own show, and ruined everything. Like, okay, sorry, but Eliza was literally THE ONLY ONE who had to publicly face the issue: for months, JR never showed up and never said anything to adress any issue. Yes he aplogized, and yes he restrained himself and that’s good. But Eliza, having all these cons by herself? That wasn’t okay, I can’t even dare to think the pressure she had to go through. There are literally yes, bullshitty people who relied on her to say what they wanted to hear about Clxa, but also sensitive people, living a hard life because of something that is part of who they are (their sexuality) who were really hurt about what happened on the show. I know that Bob, and Jarod, and Lindsey, and Adina (but heck EVEN ALYCIA) were the main victims of what happened because the social media literally turned against them. Still, in terms of communication, Eliza was the face who had to “settle things” for these sensitive people who needed reassurance and for the rabid jerks who acted like… hey, jerks. Jarod and Bob and anyone else were entitled to state their real, harsh opinions (whether they received hate for that or not doesn’t matter, everyone stating their opinions on the internet gets hate and/or anon asks: just look at your ask! Just because… I stated my opinion?). Eliza was the one supposed to “save the show” in terms of publicity after this mess, she was ALONE (with a shitty PR) and I’ll never forgive Jason for that. I don’t care if he vents a lot and talks a lot and whatever-gifset says the cast hates him. He wrote that episode 7 he should have been the one to handle it, not Eliza because she was playing half of the ship.
She’s still 26, and with literally NO KNOWLEDGE of the struggles LGBT youth is going through, because she’s not LGBT. She just PORTRAYS Clarke who is a bisexual: and still, it’s in a society where it isn’t even adressed, so that will NEVER be an issue for Clarke as well. Okay I’m gonna say this for the people in the back, of the antis, or anyone living in their own world: STOP EXPECTING STRAIGHT ACTORS TO BE THE VOICE OF THE LGBT MOVEMENT, they won’t satisfy you, because they don’t know what you’re going through. Just like me, for example, when I talk about something regarding the LGBT community, I get tons of hate like “shut uuuup u straight ass” so why isn’t it the same for ACTORS who STILL ARE straight, even tho they portray LGBT characters? Outside of his/her work, that actor/ress is still straight. Heck, nobody among the antis said anything about that, but Eliza actually spelled “LGBT” wrong once in an interview, and Alycia didn’t know anything about the Trevor Project before a journalist brought that to her. They learnt after that, still, they weren’t MEANT to be the spokewomen of a movement they’re not belonging to.

And I mean, I literally can’t even imagine the level of pressure she’s had. And I’d still like to remind people that yes, Eliza didn’t say anything about Bob being bullied, or Adina, or Lindsey, Jarod and everything. She didn’t say anything about Alycia’s privacy being violated either: guess why? Because she had enough to deal with already, attending to a con almost alone every week or something like that - and even when she’s not alone, it’s still a Clxa con. Stop saying she’s not defending her castmates because she hates them or whatever, she has her own problems, and I think they are taking a lot of her energy and making stress out a lot as it is. She doesn’t need to fight the other’s battle, they did it on their own. I know Lindsey, Jarod, Sachin and Bob kinda sticked together, but they also… bailed or weren’t on most of the conventions this summer? I don’t know what to tell you?? They have their life? We don’t fucking know! Maybe they talked over the phone about that over and over again: and that’s not out business. Still, it looks like that Bob/Arryn and Eliza hung out A LOT together this summer. So hey, they don’t hate each other, amazing, surprisiiiing. Like okay, I’m tired of this fandom or THE OTHER ONE putting words in an actor’s mouth. I bet her words WERE taken out of context by some people on twitter and/or instagram (people are CRAZY out there). And that came from both sides: like honestly, I was ready to think “meh she said ‘shit’ like she would have said ‘stuff’“ because that’s what she meant, it’s kinda obvious. But then THE FANDOM made it all like “shit” is shit. Yes the word wasn’t appropriate, it’s still one word, compared to dozens of interviews she’s made before all that drama where she stated that she LOVED Bellamy and Clarke and their relationship and that she loved working with Bob. Like, I’ve seen on my dash people insulting her, and saying “she hates Bob so much” because she said “Bellarke shit” how does that even relate to BOB??? Bob isn’t Bellamy, you know. To me, the way the antis took that sentence, and put it in gifsets to mock us and sending us anon asks mocking Bellarke fans was WAY MORE offensive than anything Eliza said. And that’s totally what emphacizes her words and pushed everyone to make a fuss about it. Guess what, she also rolled her eyes several times when talking about Clxa, and two minutes before saying “Bellarke shit” she said that Clarke would move on, and when she said Clxa she said it like “Cleeee/EEEE/EEE/exaaaa” in a kinda “offensive” way you may judge. But yeah, since the other part of the fandom is so eager to mock us, we just keep little stuff she slips out about Bellarke. Yet, in interviews with journalists, she just seemed tired of talking about SHIPS in general.

I’m tired because “duh Eliza talks only noww” yes because she defended HERSELF after going through a horrible summer where she had to come after all that mess. She said it on her message, she just came to watch her twitter pics and all she saw were horrible comments. And we KNOW there was horrible hate about her body, more than what she said! She said “Bellarke shit” and on twitter, there were TONS of body-shaming tweets sent to her. How does that relate to Bellarke? Guess what, people are petty and horrible, that’s just it. We don’t know what she answered to: was that people being offended by what she said or was that people being MEAN to her because she slipped up? I don’t like the fact that yes, our fandom is now the “mean one” when we all know which one is the most horrible of the two. And yet, she didn’t even say “You bellarke fans are meaan”. She said SHIPS with an SSSSSSSSS. I’ll be honest, to me, the communication around Bellarke is so TRANSPARENT (and stupid) and BLATANT that just for that it’s SO CLEAR that Bellarke is meant to happen (and even be endgame?). They started addressing to bellarke fans that way since SEASON 1, when we were nothing but a nice fandom just asking “maybe” questions. Yet, they were avoiding it already. And Eliza was YET the “main event” of that ship. Just picture yourself, you’re on a tv show, and it’s been four years that you have to watch everything you say regarding a ship, and then you have all that drama coming from another one, and everyone is exploding and her friends were bullied and everything. Like, okay, she didn’t defend Bob and the others, but she was like… MIA from twitter and instagram at that time. The antis translated that by saying “she just haaates the show sooo muuuch” when I guess she was just… hella running away from them. Because as soon as she promoted the show again - like, ep13 I think? - she got tons of shit and hate. Just because a LARGE vocal, very active and very rabid part of the fandom (the antis) interpret things one way, doesn’t make it real! The “Bellarke shit” wasn’t meant to be deliberately MEAN, so yes, she’s “schocked” that it hurt a lot of people (because guess what, she truly is disconnected from her fandom, whether it looks like it or not, she just keeps repeating the same words at every con she goes to, and doesn’t put more efforts to it), just like the writers were shocked that Lxa’s death hurt a lot of people. They are SHITTY at adressing their fandom about ships, and that’s no news. I know Bob handles it better, maybe it’s a question of maturity, or prep, or because… HEY HE ONLY HAS BELLARKE TO TALK ABOUT IN TERMS OF SHIPS?? While Eliza had… three majors one up until now? What would happen if Bob was stuck between VERRRYYYY high expectations from Braven fans, and high expectations from Bellarke fans? Yeah, everything he’d say would be very problematic in some aspects. Just like everything Eliza says is problematic to some aspect.

Does she deserve to be hated, I mean- BODY SHAMED?, shitted on and everything because she’s doing something SHE’S NOT GOOD AT? Just because she said something offensive, doesn’t forbid her from defending herself when she sees horrible tweets body-shaming her, people insulting her and everything. Guess what, maybe by reading these comments, she was just as hurt as “her fans” when she says something they don’t like.
