because it does

Things my dentist has actually said to me:

“Well, either the x-rays lied to me or you are spontaneously creating teeth. I’m going with the second one because it’s way cooler.”

“When was the last time you flossed? Your gums aren’t bleeding which means I’m either not doing this hard enough or you actually floss your teeth regularly”

“You don’t need to do a fluoride treatment I just want to go check my facebook for a second and this is the best excuse I can come up with. Don’t worry your insurance will cover it.”

“Take a whole handful of toothbrushes, I can’t order new ones in less ugly colors until these ones are gone.”

“Remember not to eat or drink anything for a half hour…or actually you know forget that go eat lemons and drink coffee right now. I make money based on peoples bad decisions, you should probably stop brushing your teeth too.”

“I became a dentist because I like making children cry and they don’t let you do that as a regular doctor.”

Some asshole: Why is Robert in every marvel movie? I hate him.

SO NOBODY CARES THAT YOU DONT LIKE HIM.

NOBODY CARES THAT YOU HAVE ANOTHER FAVE.

BECAUSE LET ME TELL YOU: YOUR FAVE LOVES ROBERT ALL THE WAY.

can we start practicing self love that doesn’t focus so much on looks? like sure feeling beautiful is nice but you know what? you got a kickass personality too! you know that little quirk that you’re sure is annoying? it’s endearing as hell and when you laugh you literally embody sunshine like you don’t have to constantly tell yourself you’re pretty if you can’t believe it because in the end that’s not the most special thing about you. learning to love your insides is just as hard as the outside. vanity isn’t the be all and end all of self love you can be a lil ugly and still love yourself

If anyone reads this when I have passed to the big bad beyond, I shall be posthumorously embarrassed. I shall spend my entire afterlife blushing.

hc that Preston and Nerf’s egg never ran away but rather… Jasper was watching all this unfold from afar and decided that now was as good a time as any for ghostly intervention

— “Conflict. As the world tethered on the brink of anarchy a new hope arose. An elite international taskforce, charged with ending the war and restoring liberty to all nations. Overwatch. Soldiers. Scientists. Adventurers. Oddities. Guardians who secured global peace for a generation. Under its steadfast protection the world recovered. And today, though its watch has ended, its sowing ideals of freedom and equality will never be forgotten.”

look i know this may be hard to hear but drag belongs to the LGBTQ+ community, no one else. it’s not for 14 year old straight girls who think they somehow belong in the queer community because they find some drag queens hot. and now i’m seeing so many of y’all getting butthurt about Trixie saying she didn’t start doing drag to fraternize with children, but guess what? she literally didn’t. and those of y’all acting like you’re the reason she’s making money are mostly underage and unable to actually go to her shows, where she makes her living. y’all following her on twitter, blogging about her on tumblr, and buying some of her merch ain’t doing shit.

and i’m guessing if she’s used that “joke” so many times it’s probably because it isn’t a joke. and the other half of y’all trying to act like you know everything about drag have been watching drag race for what 2-3 seasons?? have never been to a drag show, only know of drag queens who have been on drag race, and only stan queens you find hot out of drag.

the straight people in this community/fandom are always the ones i see be the most vocal which is absolutely insane to me. some of y’all should just keep blogging about your favorite queen and stay silent some times. it’s not always necessary to add the input of a straight teenaged girl.

-audibly winks-

… how are they jumping up like that?

it’s a mystery.

or it’s a bone-based op seesaw situation probably

I imagine the family skate was….A Lot for Jack.

Okay but can we all agree that the character contrast in Wonder Woman between Steve and Diana was one of the best, most thought-out things we’ve seen on screen in some time?

I mean, think about it. Steve is a spy. He is used to doing things covertly and subtly. He likes to find the secret passages, physically and figuratively. Diana, on the other hand, is a warrior. She does things with force, whether it be gaining information or taking out the enemy. She barges right in, rather than looking for a secret entrance. Where Steve would rather place a bomb, Diana would rather prefer by hand.

At the same time, Diana is still so fresh in this new concept of war. She is the best warrior, but she has yet to see battle. Steve has externally hardened himself against the roughness and heartache of war. Diana focuses on the details (the people enslaved in the village) and Steve looks at the big picture (Axis powers are planning on killing more than just a village with the gas). These differences alone are what makes their team work; Steve keeps Diana focused on the mission, while Diana makes sure Steve remembers why the mission exists in the first place.

They are divided by method, but connected by their goal and their hope of stopping more death.

Their relationship, both working and personal, was so beautiful and well thought-out that I got chills watching them work together. Their differences didn’t create friction, but gilded together like a machine. They did have hiccups along the way, but they learned from them and adjusted accordingly. This is how characters were meant to be written.

Homie out.
