because i really really love mara

mara jade is more than luke’s love interest. i feel like the star wars fandom just kind of ignores her, and it’s really unfair. some of the fandom even hates her. but hating her because her relationship with luke doesn’t fit your headcanon, or for whatever reason (that’s the #1 reason i’ve seen mara hate on tumblr), that’s really not fair. she’s so much more than luke’s wife. she overcame years of psychological manipulation/abuse by emperor palpatine. she was just like “ok, screw that; i’m gonna go places anyway. i’m gonna do more with my life than just be someone’s puppet.” her character is so dynamic; she’s written better than some characters i’ve seen on screen. she just happens to be luke’s wife. that’s just part of the amazing character that is mara jade.

ugh i’ve been in such a character slump for my mara korbat, bhrenn

i’m so attached to this baby but he only really had a character when he was painted royal, and when i painted him maraquan with an ffq - because a mara korbat was my dreamie back then - i gave freas his royalboy clothes and a lot of his design transferred over to her (the dorky bobbed hair, pointy buck-teeth etc) and i didn’t really think at the time about the difficulty of customizing maraquan pets - and I love customizing, seriously, it’s like 95% of my character creation process on neo.

he’s the last pet i’d ever created myself, named after an OC of mine (whom his own personality couldn’t have been any more opposite of when he was royal, actually lmfao) but i just can’t seem to pin down a concrete character so i’m really torn about it. i’m basically keeping him because of sentimental value and *prettiness* but he’s pretty much just collecting dust which makes me sad :’(

i’ve even been considering trading him, but i’m afraid i’ll regret that later on (like i have with a few others, sob) but if i can’t stay attached to him other than material value then ??? what’s the point lmao

ANYWAY this is just me venting to myself mostly, if you have an opinion, suggestion, or if you can just relate haha feel free to jump in

20 or 31.

(I combined them because I am Bad At Choices.)

“You’re crazy,” Tony said.

Steve snorted. “You’re one to talk.”

“You just punched a triceratops!” Tony emphasized, opening a storage compartment inside the Quinjet to look for blankets. Both of them were soaked to the bone– Steve in his leather and scale mail, Tony in his skin-tight undersuit. Neither of them were looking forward to the Herculean task of getting their wet clothes off.

“Well, it did hit on my boyfriend,” Steve said, pulling the scale mail off over his head and dropping it aside.

Hello! I was wondering if you have any book recommendations for Halloween type books? Last year I read the unbecoming of Mara Dyer and I really enjoyed it because it had an eerie feel to it with out being a horror book.
