Illiterate person aka SB stan salty because their mayo crackship founded in racism ain’t happening: “I can’t believe they’re wasting a crossover on a fucking wedding!!!”

Me, an intellectual: *picks up comic books*

Also me: Well, weddings always are a pretty big thing in comics too. Your point?

I don’t think I’ve mentioned this before (but I could be wrong), but I’ve been wondering…so, Duel Links so far has been referencing elements of both the manga and anime canon for DM, with generally a lean towards manga-canon. The whole “Duel Links” system is a concept established in DSOD - which is manga canon. Also, the Set Sail for the Kingdom event very specifically and exclusively followed manga canon, but we also have Mai and Anzu’s dialogue outside of events when you have them duel that references their anime-only duel during Duelist Kingdom. Also things like Mokuba referencing the (anime-only) first virtual world arc when summoning Holy Elf, but the poison hamburger deck being a clear reference to the early manga.

So what I’m wondering is, when they introduce GX content, will they also be referencing GX manga as well as anime? As I understand it, the GX manga is much more different to the corresponding anime than DM’s is. So it would be interesting to see - will they favor manga canon like the DM content has? Will they favor anime content but reference the manga? Or will they stick exclusively to anime canon?

I was (re)watching Kingsglaive with @overlordraax tonight and towards the end of the film I had a Thought:

When the Old Wall (aka Knights of the Round/The Line of Lucis/whatever) is summoned, Ardyn comments “So this is the might of the old wall! Marvellous. Truly marvellous.”

At first I thought he was being snarky as fuck, like mate you were former royalty how could you not know about the Old Wa…. wait a minute.

He was originally meant to be the First King of Lucis.

He really may never have seen the Lucis ancestral line summoned before now because, well, he was there when it was fucking founded. There were no ancestors to be had at this point.

I mean, it’s pure speculation from my part but it’s fun to think about…

Do you think Sanvers will get back together after the break up in 3x05? I want to hope but it's getting harder each day :(

who said they’re breaking up, big bitch? this is a no negativity zone!

In After Trek they are asked about diversity and the writer they have in the studio talks about the Klingons instead of mentioning the fact that they brutally murdered the first Asian captain to appear in the Television series

During the past months and years I heard people say over and over and over again how it’ll get better and that time will heal and I never believed a single word

I genuinely thought I’d feel miserable forever and now I’m here, constantly growing confidence, starting to be comfortable with my appearance and believing in my strengths and most importantly: fighting for my dream

All other husbands have to step up their game.

Because this is what Werepenguin just gave me. He saw the commission that the amazingly-sweet and wonderfully-talented @yliseryn did for me of Allura in my wedding dress, and this idea began to form in his mind.

And this? This isn’t just Allura in my wedding dress. It’s Shiro in Werepenguin’s suit & tie. That’s OUR cake with OUR cake topper. And then Louise, being the utter sweetheart she is, added the b&w images. And then Werepenguin asked her for color versions of THOSE.

And, on top of all of this, I now have a 20x30 METAL PRINT of that top image that I can hang in our home so everyone can see it. Because this is how happy the memory of our wedding day makes him, even 8 years out. (Well, almost 8 years; he gave this to me as an early anniversary present because he couldn’t stand to sit on it any longer.)

I cried when he gave it to me. I’m crying a bit now. I married the most wonderful man and he is absolutely the best thing in my life and if there’s anything that proves that it’s that I cannot come up with the words to describe how I feel.
