because i know he is amazing

I just really want to make a post about how amazing and caring Zhan Zheng Xi is. He apparently gets into fights often and acts really tough, but when we see him like that he does it because he cares.
I also wonder if he knows by now how Jian Yi feels about him, he at least has to know that Jian Yi is gay. I got the feeling that he might have thought the kiss was Jian Yi trying it out.
I imagine after the kiss he started thinking about what it meant, maybe considering if he felt something for Jian Yi as well. Zhan Zheng Xi’s character was really built around Jian Yi, most (if not all)of his actions involve Jian Yi, it makes it hard to imagine him with anyone else.
He acts pretty intimate with Jian Yi too, like when he hold his hand and pulls him in for hug out of his own free will.
Zhan Zheng Xi accepts Jian Yi for who he is, even of he may not be able to return his feelings (yet).
He never pushes Jian Yi away and keeps trying to understand what he is feeling. Jian Yi is the one trying to hide what he is feeling, Zhan Zheng Xi notices this and constantly tries to get him to share his troubles so he can help him.
I can’t get over how much he cares for his best friend, he really is an awesome character that would definetly go to the ends of the earth to help Jian Yi.
Thinking about later on when Jian Yi goes missing, and since there is still quite some time until it happens, I wonder how their relationship would have evolved until then and how Zheng Xi would be affected. He would probably be devestated, searching day and night, unable to function properly for a long time after.
I feel like I rambled a lot haha…but Zhan Zheng Xi is one of my favorite characters. He deserves so much more credit, he is so reliable and caring, I literally stay up at night thinking about how amazing this kid is!!

I'm not sure if you're still taking drabble prompts, but here's an idea. Victor grades Yuuri's 'performance' in bed with G.O.E.'s (can be just kissing/more innocent stuff if you're more comfortable w/ that, though o: ). Potentially in public.

I think you’ve got it the wrong way round.  Yuuri grades Viktor’s performance in bed.  ;)  Much more interesting.  Because we all know that Viktor would give Yuuri straight +3.0 G.O.E.s on everything. Because Viktor… he is such an easy sap. ;)

Viktor fell back and heaved a deep breath.  It had been good.  Better than good.  AMAZING.  Wow!  He kicked the covers that had ended up tangled around his calves the rest of the way off and to the foot of the bed.  Covered in a thin sheen of sweat, any fabric felt like it would just cling to his skin.  Summer in Hasetsu wasn’t known for its lack of humidity and how Viktor wished that it was.  “Wow, Yuuri!”  He rolled over to look at his love, finally having enough breath to find words.

Yuuri stretched, his eyes closed and his hands pushing back his hair as he dragged in a deep breath.  He was languid and still so very sexy and if Viktor hadn’t been completely spent, he would have been willing to go again.  He couldn’t get enough of this man.

“It was definitely good.”  Yuuri turned his head and smiled, eyes heavy lidded.

“Just good?”  Viktor pouted.  He knew that Yuuri had enjoyed himself, that wasn’t in doubt, but he’d hoped for a bit more… purple prose about it, he supposed.

Yuuri chuckled and reached out, his hand skimming over Viktor’s bare stomach and grazing the closely clipped thatch of hair right above his dick which was still semi-hard.  Viktor sucked in a breath.  “You scored a well deserved 101.86.”

Viktor pouted.  That was nowhere near the World Record.  In skating.  Maybe it was in sex?  Should he ask?  Hmmm.  “Could I have done better?”

Yuuri bit his lip before leaning up and over, pressing a line of kisses down Viktor’s stomach.  It was very distracting.  “Your performance was a little rushed and I’d say that your oral execution only received a +2.0 G.O.E.”

Viktor huffed, not entirely sure if it was over the unexpected G.O.E., the note on rushing, or the way that Yuuri’s warm breath felt on his skin as he laughed.

Yuuri hummed.  “Also, you didn’t use my flexibility to its fullest extent, so that definitely knocked a couple G.O.E. points off too.”

Sitting up, Yuuri looked at Viktor and smiled.  It was a bit cheeky, and very adoring.  Viktor could get used to that smile.  Wanted to get used to that smile.  “Your enthusiasm was definitely a +3.0 and your kisses?”  Yuuri leaned close, his lips just a breath away and Viktor had to stop himself from stretching to claim those lips again.

“What about my kisses?” he eventually managed to get out on a breath.

“Mmm.  Definitely a +4.0 G.O.E.”

“Yuuri!”  Viktor reached out and wrapped his arms around Yuuri and tugged him down on top of him, claiming his lips without a second thought and not even sparing a thought for how sticky with sweat they still were.

Instead of Ultear,

You know what would’ve been a decent–no, amazing–alternative to Ultear being revealed as the one behind Jellal’s brainwashing instead of Zeref? Brain.

Because unlike Ultear, Brain was not a villain who was going to be redeemed and he did not have a tragic backstory cushion to fall on. He is up there with Hades and Mard Geer when it comes to villainy, and literally has an even more evil personality that wants to blow up the world hiding inside him. Brain was already behind Ultear’s own path down to darkness, so I have no trouble at all believing that he’d happily run a slave tower full of children.

In fact, it would also fix a lot of problems with that slave tower and the Oracion Seis themselves. We know Brain was looking for kids who would grow up to be suitably strong wizards to use as keys for his Six Prayers body link spell to seal Zero with. A while ago, I made a post specifically detailing how badly Jellal fit into the Nirvana Arc. Putting Brain behind the brainwashing of Jellal fixes the following problems:

  • Why the slave tower was being run. While initially being used by Zeref cultists to resurrect him, I repeat, we know Brain was looking through the children in that tower to find keys for the body link spell. When Ultear gives the reasons behind the brainwashing, we’re given a vague and undefined “yeah we found a key to revive zeref by doing this” thing that very unsatisfactorily explains why she would waste an entire 10 years running a slave tower for no discernable reason and renting out a chunk of her magic to Jellal. Brain’s explanation is much more clear-cut and really, it’s all he needs.
  • The immensely bipolar and insane actions of Jellal while possessed; sometimes he’s cool and calculating and likes playing with his opponents, like Brain, and sometimes he’s a laughing lunatic who will blow up his hard-earned Tower of Heaven just to kill Natsu and Erza, like Zero. Let’s say that Brain was possessing Jellal in order to seal away Zero in another person while he was still looking for keys to do it properly. The calculating, chilling Jellal is Jellal when Brain is in control, and the insane Jellal is Jellal when Zero is in control.
  • Why Jellal didn’t blow up Brain when Brain tutored him in Destruction Circles. In-story, Destruction Circles are only used one time, which is for Jellal to blow up Nirvana and then himself, which both fail. They’re also hastily given an explanation in why Brain can undo them: because he’s the one who invented them and personally instructed Jellal in their use. However, this takes a different, retroactive turn when Ultear is revealed as the one in control. We know Brain spent weeks torturing her as a child, creating part of her tragic backstory. You would think that an Ultear-controlled Jellal would immediately recognize Brain and blow him to kingdome come in rage. With Brain being the one in control, this problem is not present.
  • How Brain knew where to find Jellal. Why, exactly, does Brain need Jellal to find Nirvana? Answer: he doesn’t. How, exactly, did Brain know where to find Jellal’s assumed-atomized body? Answer: he shouldn’t. With the current story, this just comes off as Mashima determinedly jamming Jellal back into the story at literally the worst time with no logical explanations whatsoever. However, if Brain is the one possessing Jellal, it obviously makes sense that Brain would know where to look to find Jellal’s body.
  • Jellal’s amnesia. In-story, this is a very poorly-used and convenient device to absolve Jellal of his wrongdoings by wiping his mental slate clean and reverting him to Good Pure Jellal. It’s got a lot of holes in it that are never explained, such as how Jellal can still use magic that isn’t his, how Jellal can use magic he learned while possessed, and Jellal very conveniently hearing a “voice” in his head that told him “I must find Nirvana”. This becomes better explained with Brain in control: Brain is still actively possessing him in the Nirvana arc.
  • Why Cobra couldn’t hear Jellal’s thoughts at first. In the same instance as the amnesia coming into play, Cobra is for some reason unable to hear Jellal’s thoughts in order to (badly) preserve the tension. This doesn’t really make sense, because memories and active thoughts aren’t the same thing. However, we can deduce that Cobra couldn’t hear Brain’s thoughts either, because as detailed here, he was shocked when Brain stabbed him in the back and took it pretty damn hard. If Brain knew how to hide his thoughts from Cobra, it makes sense he’d know how to also hide Jellal’s thoughts from him, too.
  • The Oracion Seis being willing to work with Jellal. In canon, the Seis have no clue that Jellal was possessed and only know him as a monstrous lunatic that terrorized their childhoods. Which is why it makes no sense that, when Brain brings them Jellal in a coffin, they seem pleased at the idea of his resurrection and willing to work with him–they should hate him and want Jellal to stay dead to the point of mutiny. If Brain is the one controlling Jellal, then it makes sense that they’d be okay with this–they’re in on the brainwashing plot. It would also make it a decent catharsis when Jellal later pulverizes them in the Tartaros arc and gets confronted with the Zero illusion, instead of Jellal being a horrible tyrant beating down and enslaving the people whose childhoods he ruined to the point of post-traumatic stress disorder. I don’t really like that one, since I prefer the Oracion Seis as the anti-villains they are, instead of complete monsters like Brain. So instead, you could also have Jellal walk up to Brain’s corpse and be relieved that he’s dead, stating that he owes Cobra and the Seis, explaining that Brain was the one behind his possession and wants to work with them, or something along those lines.
  • The source of Jellal’s brainwashing feels genuine, and not just there to give him an out by turning another character into a scapegoat. I’ve already said before that I heavily suspect why Ultear was made the one behind Jellal’s brainwashing last-minute: because fans weren’t on Jellal’s side yet and still didn’t like him, so Mashima turned the blame onto another villain so Jellal could be redeemed–much like he turned Acnologia into the new overarching villain when he decided he wanted Zeref to be a tragic, redeemable villain. However, he should have been more careful with it. He decided in that same arc that he wanted to redeem Ultear Milkovich, and so we have Ultear, with her suitably tragic backstory, being the one behind another character’s entire set of crimes despite being on the heroes’ side now. That slave tower was run for 10 years and many atrocities were committed that stripped hundreds of innocent children of not only their bodily health, but their mental health, and people died. In doing this, Mashima is breaking a basic rule of drama, as established by Aristotle: do not show a bad man (villain) coming to a good end. What I’m saying is that by stacking Jellal’s crimes onto Ultear’s already heavy ones, her sins become completely unforgivable and she looks like a monster, no matter how sad her story is. This would be okay if Ultear were Brain, a remorseless villain who has been shown willing to brainwash, torture, and manipulate people as he pleases and who is a complete monster as is already established. But Ultear became a redeemed villain. The Tower of Heaven is a crime worthy of death–death by execution, not death by self-sacrifice or suicide. This would make it, again, amazing catharsis when Cobra kills Brain–he was the one behind not only Jellal’s suffering, but the Seis’ as well, and he then gets exactly what he deserves. Mashima should have turned the blame onto a villain that wasn’t going to be redeemed so he wouldn’t have to deal with this atonement bullshit, and Brain was there, but instead he chose Ultear.

It also accomplishes this much for Brain himself instead of Jellal:

  • It connects him to the overarching plot better. When it comes to Brain’s relevance to the story, all he’s really there to do is be a villain for the Nirvana arc; he isn’t present in the Neo-Oracion Seis for obvious reasons, and is promptly killed when he gets free from prison by the dude he backstabbed. Even the responsibility for Ultear’s childhood torture is anime-only (although I accept it as canon for this exact reason). Putting him in charge of Jellal’s brainwashing connects him to the Tower of Heaven arc, in turn connecting him personally to Jellal, Erza, the Tower of Heaven gang, and everyone else that involved. It also adds another layer to the relationship between him and the rest of the Seis: they were terrorized by Jellal until he saved them, taking them them out of the tower and teaching them their magic. In reality, he’s directly responsible for that horrible experience.
  • It gives him more of a connection to Nirvana. Nirvana is, essentially, a brainwashing magic. It forcibly switches the alignments, personalities, and allegiances of anyone it affects, and is probably pretty fucking powerful since we can deduce that its original intended target was Acnologia. Brain is called Brain because of his vast intelligence collection, research, and surveillance abilities, but adding brainwashing to his arsenal would give him even more reason to pursue Nirvana: he likes control and he’s already started figuring out how to achieve it.

There’s an article in the Sun (I know but just…wait) about Gemma and her “leaving emmerdale” which is bull anyway considering she was filming like, two days ago, that says that she quit because she “didn’t get paired up with one of the better looking cast members”- which is just stupid because Mark is amazing and who wouldn’t wanna be paired up with Marlon?? Exactly. ANYWAY it goes on to say that Danny Miller is a good looking cast member so Carly could be hooking up with Aaron and just….I just….he’s right now literally the only gay in the village. Trust me, it won’t be the looks that stop that relationship 😂😂

Who's your favorite Gorillaz member? (Sorry if you answered this before :"0 )

That’s alright, anon.

My favorite Gorillaz members are 2D and Murdoc. I love how sweet and humble 2D is. And he’s so adorable. Murdoc because I love how funny he is and how much he cares for his fans and band members (believe or not, he does care deep down inside). Plus, I love his voice. Same goes for 2D’s. I know he’s a jerk and all, but I really like him a lot. After watching Saturnz Barz, I fell more in love with Murdoc. His new look is amazing! He looks youthful and very attractive in my opinion. I also love Russel and Noodle, but 2D and Murdoc are my top favorite Gorillaz members. I hope they get along in phase 4. I would love for them to be good friends.

I am shook

All of these years of stanning proven worthwhile tonight. They are amazing. Seriously. My mind, as well as my vocal cords, are blown.

I purposefully did not read anything about Shinee World V (USA or otherwise) nor did I see anything on youtube. So I went in not knowing what to expect. They brought pretty much the entire show, including the videos they play during the break. (The best one being the video of “Shinee” auditioning in 1991.)

Just some general thoughts because I need to shower ASAP and hit the bed.

KEY: Oh boy. He is not my bias but I noticed him right off the bat in that light blue suit and blond hair. Boy was on fire. When he changed into that silk shirt and those loose pants….UM. I WAS FEELING IT. He seemed genuinely happy to be doing a show in L.A., btw.

MINHO: If Key was happy to be in L.A., Minho was over the moon. His English skills slayed me, mostly because I didn’t know it was coming. When it was just him and Key on the stage, chatting in English…my bb. So proud!!

Which leads to one of my favorite parts of the night–the Key and Minho talking session. Minho subtly dissing the LA Clippers for not being the Lakers and losing the game he saw, Minho announcing how much Shinee loves In & Out, Key talking about LaLa Land and the crowd begging him to sing a song from it but he just stands there trying to think of the lyrics until Minho shouts “ARE U OK??” Dead. They killed me. I love them.

ONEW:  All smiles, which I was very happy to see. I’m very glad I got to see some of his best moments live: the mic twirl, the Everybody helicopter. He seemed content to let the others handle the talking parts, though.

JONGHYUN: I feel like he doesn’t get enough credit for his dancing skills. While he may not have the technique of Key or Taemin, he makes up for it in just the beauty of the way he moves sometimes. Seeing him work it live was mesmerizing.

TAEMIN: “Why you come back hurry?” Poor child wanted to speak English so badly but he failed. His solo performance, that one over-dramatic song with the interpretive dancing, was amazing.

It was perfect. They were perfect. The end.

I hope they come back again sometime soon. ;____;

Sometimes I have to remind myself that it’s not Harry’s fault he gets hyped so much and that he’s presented as the best of the best, while the rest are just there for the media. Harry was always presented as the best singer, the best songwriter, the best artist. Obviously he’s going to take advantage of that, who wouldn’t? He actually is an amazing artist and he deserves the attention. His teams exists to cater to Harry’s image, so why wouldn’t they?

It’s Louis’ team’s fault. Plain and simple.

I find Niall’s team working exceptionally well (and it’s Modest) and he did so well, although he was the first one and he didn’t have the hype of over four years.

I can’t judge Liam’s team, because he hasn’t worked on anything yet, but I believe the general public will adore him. I know he’s my friends’i favourite and they are anticipating his music more than the others’.

But Louis… Louis’ team sucks. Remember how much Louis lied about not working as a singer/songwriter anymore, because he was “too busy raising Freddie”? Remember how he was supposed to work behind the scenes? Well, how the fuck would the fans get excited about him doing solo work? Also how many fans did he lose with all this bullshit? People who got tired, people who blamed him about the stunts, people who actually think he cheated on Harry, that he hurt him. How many people actively hate Louis compared to the rest of the boys? Even now that he has an AMAZING single out and all we get is bullshit upon bullshit, and more old recycled bullshit.

So yeah, I get frustrated, because I am human. And yes, sometimes I wrongly direct my frustrations to the wrong direction and will probably keep doing it, because my emotions get the best of me more often than not. And while I do not 100% agree with my dash that everything is normal and good and equal, I’m also not gonna blame Harry for going after a grand solo career. I will blame Louis’ team for not doing the same for him.

Was there a video of Bob saying "I definitely think they’re pushing the audience to think Bellamy has romantic feelings for Clarke"?

I don’t know. It was hard to keep up with all the material from the con. I didn’t see that one. I did see the one where Bob said “I love you” in Bellamy’s voice. Which was amazing. It’s always amazing when he switches to Bellamy voice. And it was so cute that he had to have character motivation in order to BE Bellamy, because he’s so very much NOT Bellamy.

And I saw the edit where they dubbed that “I love you” into the beach scene and I lauuuuughhed and laughed and laughed.

So I watched Fantastic Beasts today, yeah I’m super late to the party, story of my life. Anyway…it was amazing! I want to go back and see it a hundred more times!

I’ve loved Dan Fogler since Fanboys and he was absolutely incredible in this! I loved all of it and I am shipping Gradence like FedEx. Anyone want to talk about it I’m game. Because the only other friend I know who is hardcore in this fandom is asleep. :/

I think about love on a scale from 1 to 10. Most of us find a 6 or 7, and that’s why we have divorce. It’s the truth. We settle for that 6 or 7. But I like to think Kevin is Chiron’s 10. He’s found that and he realizes that there’s no reason to settle for a 6 or a 7 because, “I know this person is my 10. Whether or not this person believes I’m his 10, I’m going to devote my life to this person entirely.” That’s why the line where he says, “You’re the only man that’s ever touched me,” for me, was the most amazing, most beautiful thing I’ve seen in cinema, period. Because that’s what we strive for as people, to find that one person because they’re there. If Kevin doesn’t feel that they should be together, Chiron is just going to die a miserable person because that’s his person and he won’t settle for anything else. But I like to think they’re together, walking in Central Park hand-in-hand when they’re 90 years old. - Trevante Rhodes

My favorite headcannon is that Jack has an amazing singing voice and he doesnt even know it.

One day when they’re driving in the car, Bitty has his Sappiest Love Songs Ever playlist going, and Jack’s hitting every note in If I Ain’t Got You. By now Bitty knows Jack can sing, so he posts a video of Jack just going at it on his twitter. The offical Falcs account retweets it. Lin-Manuel Miranda retweets it. Bad Bob retweets it with a “He definitely got that one from his mother”. #WhatThePuckZimmermann is trending #1. The world absolutely loves that this big, quiet, awkward hockey bro also belts it out to sappy love songs on long drives, and Bitty is so proud they finally get to see a part of the real Jack.

i bet hagrid was a great friend to lupin while he was in school. if there’s one person who can make you feel good about turning into a wolf every month, it’s a guy who would genuinely think that’s an amazing thing, and knows what it’s like to be shunned because he’s seen as a monster

After med school, I came home to Mystic Falls. It felt right. It’s where I wanted to grow old and I did. And that’s my life: weird, messy, complicated, sad, wonderful, amazing, and above all epic. And I owe it all to Stefan. When I met him, I had lost my parents and I was dead inside, but he brought me back to life and I’m going to live it as best I can for as long as I can. Even after our long and happy life together, Damon is still worried he’ll never see Stefan again, that he’ll never find peace. But I know he’s wrong because peace exists. It lives in everything we hold dear. That is the promise of peace, that one day after a long life, we find each other again.

Yurio can’t win the Grand Prix Finals

Not because he’s not skilled enough - he clearly is.

But narratively speaking, he can’t win.

First of all, because it would be terrible for his character as a whole.

We’ve all seen how he acted after his record-breaking short program - cocky, arrogant, and still the pissy kid he is, but now feeling like his behavior is justified because he’s so amazing that he beat the world record. And indeed, that’s something to be proud of, and something to celebrate but Yurio… basically rubs it in everyone’s face. And I get it - after continuously winning silver in his senior career, it must be great to finally be on top, and I know that he’s a kid who’s still learning how to behave, but think about it. Doesn’t it remind you of someone? Someone else who needed to be brought down a notch perhaps? Maybe JJ?

I feel like Yurio’s character would head in JJ’s direction if he won. He would feel like he’s the king of the world who can do and say anything because he’s a winner. He’d feel like telling Yuuri that “Incompetents like you should just retire already” was perfectly fine because he won in the end which means that he was correct, right?

And see, Yurio does deserve to win and be recognized for all of his hard work and dedication, he deserves to be appreciated and praised but that boy needs to learn some humility.

Yes, his life is complicated and he clearly has some issues, but none of them will be solved by his winning the gold medal.

Which brings me to my second point: Yurio still has time to win the Grand Prix, the European Championships, the Worlds, the everything.

He is literally only fifteen years old. His career has just begun. Yeah, it’d be great if he could rule the world already in his first big championship, but he doesn’t need to. He’s already broken a world record. He’s achieved enough for one competition. He can win gold next time because he has a next time. He will be competing in the Grand Prix Final for the next ten years at least, literally time is everything he has.

He’s already proved himself in his Short Program. Now it’s time for someone else to win the GP Final. (Preferably, that person being Yuuri.)

In any case, my point is that Yurio could learn way more, and therefore gain way more by not winning the gold in the Final.

And I highly doubt that the creators would miss the occasion to teach Yurio a lesson. He’s been going around being a bit of a brat (I’m sorry, but it’s true) for too long now. I’m sure they’re showing that part of his personality in order to show his growth when he does finally learn that he can’t go on being the way he is, that there’s a line to everything.

If we’re talking about Yurio’s growth then it would make no sense for him to win the Grand Prix Final.

And you know how the proverbs go: success teaches you only about your ego, while failure teaches you how to progress and such. And Yurio could definitely still use some progress.

Person C: I still can’t believe you two are dating. The more I thing about it, the more I shake my head. Like, how…?

Person A: Yeah? Right? To be honest at first I didn’t think it’d work. But, hey, B is amazing, he’s smart, he’s funny, he’s ridiculously attractive and he’s always there when I need him *looks expectantly at B*

Person B: Oh? Yeah, what he said. Plus, uh, the sex is great, because, eh, he’s got a big dick.

Person A: ….

Person C: ….

Person B: I’m sorry. A said all the things that I too wanted to say and I, kind of, y'know, panicked.
