Glass, Opuntia basilaris, petrified wood and rock
Cactus Joe’s Blue Diamond Nursery, Nevada

Joe’s has a great selection of Mojave appropriate plants, but they are also keen on a ton of garden ornaments. Many of them are not my style (perhaps they would be with a gravel “yard”), but the glass, petrified wood, and minerals are awesome!

This is a Beaver Tail.

We Canadien’s enjoy eating Beaver Tails. Every summer, we harvest them from beavers, and deep fry them. They are delicious. You can eat them with any sauce of your choosing. You’ll never have anything better.

I’m kidding it’s a pasty and it’s fucking delicious so I guess we Canadien’s have weird shit too but ugh look at this marvelous deliciousness fuck I want one FFFFFFFFFFFFF.

I don’t really like this one that much, but everyone else seems to. I missed the earliest part of the sunrise because I was on the other side of the island taking this one, but it’s still fairly obvious what time of day it is. I have the same exact shot with the light burning and facing me, but I prefer this one.
