I don’t know exactly what the timeline is here-basically Cersei provokes a full out attack on King’s Landing when she sets off more wildfire. Daenerys and her forces win, but at a very steep price.
The battlefield stank of blood and death. Jon wondered, not for the first time, why the sun was shining-how could the weather be so beautiful when the air was filled with the screams of the dead and dying?
King’s Landing was a ruin. Half of the buildings he passed were in shambles, fires still blazing inside their hollowed out wrecks. A dead child stared up at him as he passed by, covered in her own blood, one arm resting on her torn stomach. Her mother knelt next her, bent over and sobbing. The sight made him physically ill. This wasn’t what was supposed to happen. There wasn’t supposed to be a battle in the first place. But Cersei had forced their hand and there was no other choice.
He was lucky to be alive. They were all lucky to be alive, when so many weren’t.
A few shots of common items you’ll find in the Meccan street markets down the way from Al-Masjid Al-Haram where the Ka'bah is located. 1) Prayer rugs in an array of colors & designs, 2) Thikr beads, 3) 21kt & 24kt & up Yellow Gold Bangles & jewelry. Saudi Arabia is incredibly abundant with gold. All shot by yours truly on my Canon T3i DSLR <3 LeeLou
This was definitely not how Ladybug expected her day to go.
It was supposed to be just another normal day of summer break. No responsibilities beyond the ones her parents gave her, no homework, no babysitting, and no akuma. Just a trip to a butterfly garden so Tikki would have a chance to fly around for a while in a comfortable environment where she wouldn’t be in danger if she was glimpsed. It was going to be a nice, relaxing day free of stress.
Would’ve been nice if she and Hawkmoth could’ve been on the same page.
