beachwash

In just 4 months, this beautiful pair of @oldblueco 19oz denim has produced fades & ridges that my 6 month A.P.C.’s seem to be having trouble producing. Maybe it’s bc they’re 7oz heavier…maybe bc of how hard the owner has been wearing them…maybe bc they’ve been washed twice, one by hand, & the other by beach wash. What is a beach wash? It is when some goes to the beach with their #rawdenim on, takes a dip in the water to get the jeans nice & wet, then rolls around & “plays” in the sand until the denim is completely covered, waiting a bit, then taking another dip in the ocean to get the sand off. Does it work well as far as cleaning goes? Well, going to VA beach might not clean them, but they will definitely get sand in places I don’t want it in, along with making them worse—I would NEVER wash there! I’ll save a beach wash for when I’m on vacay in the Caribbean, where the water is nearly crystal clear. Back to the question at hand, seeing a video about sand at the beach having more parasites living it than a port-a-potty…for the germaphobes in this world, they’ll understand how disgusting that is…I’m gonna have to say “Nah, I’m good 😴” #BeachWash #Handwash #Selvage #Selvedge #Denim #DryDenim #OldBlue #OldBlueCo #19oz #Ocean #Sand #Germaphobe #Parasites #Saltwater #Fades #BlueJeans #TrueStyle #Style #OmnipotentStyle
