After an exceptionally rough day at the courthouse, Blue Zircon flees to Earth to escape the wrath of Yellow Diamond. While she has little experience with human law, her thousands of years of practicing law on Homeworld does open the door to some alternative business opportunities.
Zircon befriends two anonymous Gems, both fellow Homeworld refugees, who are looking to expand their new bootleg rock candy operation from out of their barn into a regional empire. After gaining the trust of a friend of a former client, Blue Zircon arranges for the candy to be secretly distributed by Big Donut delivery trucks. Will “Beach City Blue” become the nation’s new favorite candy, or will the whole scheme come crashing down and send Zircon on the run again?
For a moment I am completely struck by the injustice of this, that I’ve been offered a ride and now I have to share it with Sean ‘Keep Your Pony Off This Beach’ Kendrick of all people. And then I see that Kendrick, too, has seen me, and is uncertain about getting into the truck, and that pleases me. I would like to be terrifying. I glower at him.

Sorry if it’s long but I love your stuff!”
I hope you don’t mind, but I changed it from Seb to Bucky, mainly because I
don’t feel comfortable writing for actual people. Also, this turned-out way longer than I anticipated
Bucky and his step-son went to give the reader a surprise visit in the office,
but things do not go as planned.
