beach and booze

'Grace and Frankie' just got a fourth season. And Lisa Kudrow is getting in on the fun.

Always keen to prove that getting older doesn’t mean slowing down, the ladies of Grace and Frankie are returning for a 13-episode fourth season with a special guest star, EW has learned.

If you thought it couldn’t get better than starting a vibrator company for the more mature lady, think again. Netflix is further shaking things up with the addition of Friends star and Emmy Award-winning actress Lisa Kudrow, who enters the fray as pink-velour-tracksuit-wearing manicurist Sheree. As a longtime acquaintance of Grace, she (of course) manages to cause a riff or two between the besties during her guest-starring arc. But in the first look photo above, the trio is all smiles as they deep their fit into the pool.

The Netflix series, the third season of which premiered on March 24, follows Grace (Jane Fonda) and Frankie (Lily Tomlin) as they become reluctant yet close friends after their husbands leave them later in life to start a relationship with one another. Marta Kauffman, who co-created Friends alongside David Crane, also co-created the Skydance Television-produced series and serves as an executive producer.

Get ready for more technological hiccups, beach-house boozing, and general geriatric hilarity when the ladies return for season 4 in 2018.

(This is from ask-ravager-Peter-quill) But like that cute fan art of the ravager's at the beach and how Peter is just chilling in Yondu's lap is so adorable (and it probly the safest spot to be cause I pity the person that tries to sneak up on those two) but like imagine Yondu wakes up from his nap and Peter is gone and he's like WTF where is he where his Terran~Son~ and suddenly all he sees is this mound of sand with Peter's face on it, like the sand guardian, guardian of the sand meme.

(Concerning this post)

(Hey there!)

Oh gosh. Yondu would probably freeze where he is, blinking down at Peter’s face – the only thing he can see, the rest is covered in the sand – and he’s torn between barking out a laugh, asking what the actual fuck Peter is doing there and just walk away and don’t give a damn.

He snaps out of it when someone behind him asks, “Hey, we coulda leave the Terran here like that. Good way to get rid of…”

Yondu turns, very slowly, arrow already floating up although he hasn’t even whistled yet, and the speaker falls silent instantly.

Tullk, still chilling on the beach and sipping some booze, snorts quietly at Yondu’s expression and suggests to the guy talking before, “Start runnin’.”

Moral of the story is that Kraglin and Oblo have to dig Peter out again, Yondu tells Peter to stay where he can keep an eye on him (“You were sleeping!” – “Do as I say, dammit!”). The guy who suggested that they leave Peter there vanishes to work in the dark depths of the machine rooms for a long, long time. Everyone agrees that Terrans are extremely weird, and Tullk teases Peter endlessly about the whole Guardian-of-the-sand-thing.

“Ain’t like yer good at guardin’ stuff, Pete. More like stealin’ it.”

Ex-fuckin’-cuse me, I would make a great Guardian!”

“Mhm, sure, kiddo.”

She Called It Home,

and so it was.
The trees were the only countrymen with us.
Everything else flickered saliently of other.
In this prehistoric land:
A strain of the corpse of time
remained.
Flowers like citadels hanging gardens of: Eden.
Beaching, branching, then boozing
off the life which struck our eyes
was
what made us realize we could never get
back.
Scraping sky dragons of:
feather and cloud eclipsed by the
moon:
Purple and hazed we couldn’t stop our gazing
Cradling the ocean stirring life
It was as if she could
Love.
She called it home,
and so it was.
Forever.

Describe the color red without using the word red.

Red [red]

noun

1. Murder on the sidewalk. My mother’s favorite cherry candy. The sun at ten p.m. on a summer night. Warning, danger. Warning, I love you. Warning, heart like the bloodiest thing you’ve ever seen. Roses. Cranberries. Fire on a beach, fueled with booze and brandy. Fire in an apartment building, fueled with booze and brandy. Fire in your throat. Fire behind your teeth.

2. Her mouth when she kisses you
and it tastes like someone else.

"Pam, you're so pretty."

It’s hard for me to remember that sometimes I watch other TV shows. That other TV shows came before The Mindy Project. But I did, and they do, and those shows have so much merit to them and so much to appreciate that I feel like I don’t normally feel like talking about.

But today I was thinking of this scene from The Office. It’s one of my favorites and one of the most romantic scenes within the entire show.
