“When River first played for Chris and me I thought he was great. At age 17, he was very sophisticated musically. His lyrics, on paper, read like poetry. He was a far better guitar player than he ever gave himself credit for. He was constantly writing songs. He definitely had his own musical style, which I think is the sign of a true musician. At first, he was the pleasant, almost folky, singer-songwriter. Then he was getting into more abstract material, layering, complex chord changes, using two bridges. He was definitely ready to make a record”
You know when you see a photograph of someone you know, but it’s from
years before you knew them. It’s like they’re not quite finished;
they’re not done yet. Well, yes, the Doctor’s here. He came when I
called just like he always does, but not “my” Doctor. Now, my Doctor,
I’ve seen whole armies turn and run away, and he’d just swagger off back
to his TARDIS and open the doors with a snap of his fingers. The Doctor
in the TARDIS. Next stop: everywhere.
if that episode description is true and River and Dave are fighting because their kids refuse to dance together then what the hecky heck?
You losers are fighting cause your kids won’t dance?! Is the dance really a huge deal or something? Or were both of you itching for a reason to argue at each other?
If your kids don’t wanna dance, they don’t wanna.
((For something like that to set them off, i’d want to think there was more of a build up beforehand…otherwise arguing and attacking each other because of something this small and silly would be….out of nowhere. I dunno, for them to fight over that kinda makes me think i’m missing something here with this episode involving both of them.
Maybe they used their un-interest in dancing as an excuse to smack-talk the other’s family? i dunno…))
