bayita

For people wondering, la fresa is “strawberry” except some countries in Latin America are like “no, fresa is a preppy kid who’s either rich or wishes they were rich, a fresa is the type of person who styles their hair to look like natural bedhead and reads the classics just because they’re old”

So you might be asking yourself what those countries call “strawberry”? They call it la frutilla …which literally means “little fruit”.

Which is upsetting because most fruit are small? Like I don’t get to call currants bayitas and I don’t get to call watermelons frutones but don’t think I won’t start, Spanish. Don’t think I won’t start.
