This short film was put together by artists who work at various studios, including Disney Feature, Dreamworks and Pixar. The animation is done by Minkyu Lee, Jennifer Hager, James Baxter, Mario Furmanczyk, Austin Madison and Matt Williames.
This is a test that I did as a demonstration lecture two days ago. It was the last in a five week series on quadrupeds at Dreamworks. The focus was on animating a four-legged animal in a free-flowing way. After we had gone through anatomy, different gaits, and gait transitions in the previous weeks, this was a demonstration of how to put it all together and just animate a dog just being a dog. It’s easy to get bogged down in the technicalities of quadruped gaits, but if you know it well enough you don’t have to overthink it and can just animate freely.
1. WHYYYY is Raven designing fkn dog clothes when she has designed her own clothes since she was like 3??? why did they downgrade her like that?? That’s so sad she has worked so hard her whole life and now she’s working for someone that barely pays her. That’s fucked up. She worked for Donna Cabonna FOR FREE(!!!!!!) for years and then Cabonna ditched her or what happened??? It makes no sense… Raven haven’t even been that into animals so why is she designing dog clothes? Is there really no one she can work for that designes human clothes? I don’t know I just find it so wrong since she was a fucking fashion icon.
2. WhYyyyy have they turned Chelsea into a COMPLETE idiot?? I love love looove Chelsea but come on they’ve made her too dumb. Chelsea was an airhead and obviously she should still be, that’s a really big part of the character, HOWEVER, she’s an adult now and has a child. I almost feel like she’s more stupid now than she was in Season 3 and 4 in That’s so Raven. They should make her like she was in TSR Season 1&2, kinda ditzy but not a complete idiot. Also is she working?? I know that they are sharing the rent but they kind of picture it like she is a burden for Raven (even though Raven doesn’t think that)… which also is sad because what I remember from TSR is that Chels always worked with animals or was in environmental organisations etc. WHY isn’t she doing that now?? And if she is, WHY aren’t they saying or showing it?? I don’t like that they have turned her into a useless airhead. It’s always Raven who has to work late, work on weekends etc. Chelsea was also in a not so healthy relationship. Her ex-husband wouldn’t let her do anything, which btw they should talk more about, so that explains it a little but still, Chelsea can still be dumb and fun but they should show that she is taking more responsibility than what has been shown in these episodes. She’s always burning the food, forgetting her wallet so Raven has to pay. Now maybe that only happened this one time, but I doubt that. Chelsea never got on my nerves in TSR because it was funny back then and because her level of stupidity was just enough and also, they were kids. They can’t make her that stupid, or even more stupid NOW when she is 30-something.
Maybe I’m being over dramatic but TSR was such a good show with amazing characters, and I know that I shouldn’t compare the two because it’s not a spinoff, but Rae and Chelsea have to be perfect I’m sorry but they have to. I love the show, I really do. And it’s not about Raven’s or Anneliese’s acting - it’s only the characters.
It has also just been 5 episodes that we’ve seen so I hope Chelsea develops some brain cells in the upcoming episodes. In the new seasons I really wanna see Chelsea being a lot more with it. It was good in the one episode with the landlord when she said that she and Levi would move out and that it wasn’t Rae’s fault. I WANT MORE OF THAT please Disney don’t destroy these iconic characters ffS.
Characters - Steve x Sharon (stick with me here), Reader, Clint
Words - 636
Koi No Yokan (Japanese) - The sense upon first meeting a person that the two of you are going to fall in love. This is different than “love at first sight,” since it implies that you might have a sense of imminent love, somewhere down the road, without yet feeling it. The term captures the intimation of inevitable love in the future, rather than the instant attraction implied by love at first sight.
A/N - Yay, new drab series! I’m just setting the scene in the first couple parts so please hang with me. Feedback is what I crave so go for it :)
“Baxter!” Your hoarse voice tore through the neighborhood just a few blocks from your own. There were tears clouding your vision and you couldn’t stop your nose from running as you wailed through the streets like a mad woman. “Baxter!”
