-Oh yeah ? That’s funny because you know what ? I’m the true blood daughter ! So your argument is invalid. Do you think before you speak ?
Your father looked between you and Damian, not knowing what to do…This wasn’t going how he wanted it to go at all.
Your first encounter with your half-brother Damian was…tense, to say the least. One day your dad came home with the boy, and boom, I guess you had a new brother. You were super excited. At least at first. You quickly realized that he wasn’t really…the nicest.
Even before your father explained where he came from and all, you knew he was definitely your brother. He looked almost exactly like your dad when he was a kid. Almost exactly, because his eyes weren’t blue but green, and his skin was way darker than your father’s pale complexion. Other than that…it was like seeing a mini-Bruce. You hoped he wasn’t like your dad mentally too, because that was gonna be a nightmare…And he wasn’t. He was worst. Oh my god so much worst.
The first words he uttered to you were full of disdain :
-You look weak.
Your father stiffened, ready to intervene. He knew that with you, this could go only two ways : you’d loose all control and fight Damian, or ignore him completely, much like your mother would. Your mother, Catwoman, champion in ignoring people that annoy her since the day she was born. You took the second option, and with a little smile that made Damian fumed, you turned away from him, going back to the work you were doing on the bat mobile before your dad emerged with your brother. Hum. Half-brother.
But Damian wouldn’t have it. He already met the other batboys, and he made sure they knew that Batman’s TRUE son was home. He went too you, under your father’s gaze. Your dad was still ready to lunge forward between you two.
-Did you hear me ?
Damian was confused. Even Dick, who seemed like the most collected one, reacted to his provocations. And here you were, kinda ignoring him, a smug look on your face. He had to assure his superiority on you, and you had to react for it to work !!
-You look very weak.
-You already said that. Redundant.
-You look like you…
-Hey, listen, I know what you did to Dick, Jay and Tim ok ? Won’t work with me, I don’t care about your little need to feel better than us. So here we go, I’m gonna tell you know : hey, you’re better than me. Cool right ? I bet you feel great now.
-Well at least you know your place.
Oh damn. You were doing such a good job. You were being so calm and collected, like your father taught you. You should have kept ignoring him, just like your mom did to people she didn’t like…You knew he was eventually going to say something that’d make you mad. And here. “Know your place” ? “KNOW YOUR PLACE” ? How dare he ?!
You stood up to face him. He was almost as tall as you, even though he was definitely years younger, no more than 10, and you were already (your age). You were kinda short. Like your mom. In the corner of your eyes, you could see your father coming towards you, but you made him understand with your eyes that he shouldn’t intervene. You needed to do this. And so he stopped, and looked at you two.
“It’s gone...all gone...” - Batsis (Reader) x Batfamily
Summary: Batsis is EXTREMELY FRUSTRATED after she accidentally erase from her computer the entirety of the novel she has been working hard on for the past three years…
Because I’m actually very frustrated with myself right now (refer to that post if you wanna know more), and thought that the best solution was to turn all that frustration into a story, and sorry if it’s pretty bad, it’s literally something I just came up with, and wrote in twenty minutes, because I was so damn frustrated, and here it is :
-TIIIIIIIIM !! TIIIIIIIIIIIIM !! HELP ME PLEASE COME FAAAAST !!!!!!!!
Your screams of panic wakes your brother up from a good nap he was having, and he runs to your bedroom as fast as he can, almost falling down stairs, slipping on the wooden floor in his socks. He burst into your room, ready to fight, and finds you sat at your desk, shaking your computer desperately.
-Timmy, please do something, I just did something, don’t ask me what I don’t even know it just kinda happened, I pushed some fucking keys on my computer, and my novel just disappeared !
He stares at you for a few seconds, a bit in disbelief, before finally answering :
-…Wait, that’s your emergency ? Are you kidding me (Y/N)?
-Au contraire mon frère, I’m super serious ! My novel alright ?! I’ve been working on it for the past three years, I was almost done !! IT CAN’T BE ALL GONE ALRIGHT !?
As you said those last words, you stood up and grabbed your brother by the collar of his shirt. Realizing what you just did, you let go of him, and straighten him a bit, forcing a smile on your face.
-Can you, please, my dear and adorable little brother, check my computer to see if it can be retrieved ?
Tim was a little stunned, he never saw you like that before. It was pretty much the exact opposite in fact, you were known to be the calmest and more collected of the batkids. You usually were the one calming them down…In that sense, you were a lot like your father. So seeing you being so…hysterical, was a bit unsettling.
-Ok calm down, we can probably retrieve your file. Most files can be recovered from computers. Hell, remember when I got some back from the bat computer after it’d been completely torched down ?
-Yes, I’m hoping for another one of your miracle here. Don’t disappoint bro’.
And on that note, Tim cracked his knuckles and went to work.
Y'all: we probably shouldn’t get to exited yet about the proposal because a million things could go wrong as usual.
Me: I here you but like I’ve already been planning the entire wedding, and I need to know who Selina’s maid of honor will be, and I need to know how Bruce tells all of his kids that he’s getting married and that they are all being forced to attend the wedding.
Parent Preferences- Batman and Wonder Woman: How You Meet
Robin sat on a bed by all the medical equipment, looking sulky and cross.
“The girl was crazy, Father!” he complained. There was a long gash down his chest that looked like it had been done by a cat’s claws, which Batman was looking at closely. It was a very familiar gash.
“How old was she?” he asked.
“I dunno, about my age. She attacked me viciously and then, she threw a cat at me! By the time I got that wretched thing off of me, she was gone, and the necklace was, too.”
Batman glanced at Nightwing.
“Looks like Catwoman took a leaf out of your book and got a sidekick,” grinned Nightwing.
“She’ll steal again, of course,” said Batman in way of reply. “This time, you keep a lookout for her, Dick.”
A week later, he brought a young girl to the cave. He had her by the scruff of the neck of her leather suit and was holding her at arms length. She was screaming and kicking and trying to struggle out of the bonds he had placed on her hands and feet.
“Bruce!” he yelled out.
Bruce turned his chair from the computer to face Nightwing.
“You brought her here?” he asked, frowning.
“Yeah,” he said, sounding sour, for some reason. “Does she look familiar?”
With this, he dropped the girl on the ground and yanked off her mask.
Furious, teary (e/c) eyes met Bruce’s, and he almost- almost, mind- started. The girl looked exactly like Damian.
And Damian look exactly like Bruce.
He blinked at the girl for a while, then looked at Nightwing, who was standing with his arms crossed and his mouth set in a line.
“This is a strange coincidence,” said Bruce, trying to be oblivious.
Wonder Woman/Diana Prince
Diana looked at the young woman who had washed ashore with pity. The woman was obviously dead. The little girl beside her was not.
As she turned the dead woman over to get a good look at her face, she suddenly recognized her.
She was an Amazon warrior who had gone outside of Themiscyra, and found a man. Much to the dismay of her comrades, she had decided to stay with the man, as she was with child. His child.
Diana picked up the young girl in her arms to take her to the infirmary, wondering what horrible thing could’ve happened to them.
