Four pars powdered milk, one part baking soda, six drops lemon essential oil. ten drops chamomile essential oil,
one part dried lemon peel, one part chamomile flowers.
Softens skin, exfoliates, heals eczema and psoriasis, calms acne, hydrates skin without making it oily, enhances relation, soothes sore muscles, removed dead skin and encourages new skin growth, conditions hair, fixes split ends, anti-ageing.
Encourages peace and calm, promotes self love, helps with astral projection, good for after doing a tiring spell, especially a curse, and invigorates throat chakra.
though i do not myself believe in the concept of a “beginner” spell, a lot of new witches often ask me what i recommend for them to start with. here’s some of the simpler lot, that should be easier to perform.
My mom is visiting me soon, and she’ll be here on her birthday, so I thought I’d make her something that all mothers need! Something relaxing, mood lifting, and positive with self care involved.
1 cup baking soda
½ cup citric acid
½ cup cornstarch (optional, as I didn’t have this today and didn’t use any)
¼ dry milk (optional, if you don’t want your bath milky, you are free to leave this out)
3 tablespoons of Epsom salts
a handful of dried & crushed orange peel
1 teaspoon of water
3 - 4 teaspoons of coconut oil (or any base oils you have at hand, such as almond oil)
15 - 20 drops of orange essential oil
This made me 1 large, 1 medium, & 1 mini bath bomb. I didn’t have a ritual or chant, I simply had some of my mood boosting crystals & a plant companion to ensure I was putting only positive energy into making these🌿
To make dried & crushed orange peel:
Save the peel from an orange, being sure to remove all fruit from the skin. Lay out to dry, best if it is in the sun. This will take a few days, though I’m sure there are ways to dry in the oven, just be sure to research it before just popping them in to the oven and burning them to a crisp! Once the peels are completely dry, toss the peel into a blender and pulse the blender until the pieces are as small or large as you wish. Store in airtight container.I may make a full tutorial on this if requested, but it’s pretty straight forward.
How to feel like a princess getting ready for a politically important ball
*Use a sugar scrub or make one with ¼ cup of sugar + ¼ cup of oil (like coconut or olive or avocado) + a splash of vanilla extract + a few drops of lavender EO—pat dry when you come out of the water so the oil will stay behind to nourish your skin
*Soak in a bath of honey, milk, and flower petals
*Brush out your lightly dried and detangled hair with a wooden comb that has been oiled with a hair oil (may I suggest camellia oil—it is a light oil that sinks in beautifully)
*If you have acne prone skin, wash your face after oiling your hair
*Remember, “presentation is manipulation”—this is a time for you to shine
*Listen to music that makes you feel powerful and confident—sing along to enhance the effect
*Wear a perfume that you love (vanilla is near universally pleasing if you care about how other people will respond to the scent)
*Dark lipstick is more intimidating—it will make people listen
*Natural lips suggest a friendly, easy-to-get-along-with personality
*If you wear heels, walk confidently
*If you wear flats, walk confidently
*Remember you own the space you exist in
*Wear colors that make you feel powerful—screw advice that would tell you that you can’t wear whatever color you want
*Don’t let others speak over you—your voice is worthy of being heard and don’t let anyone tell you otherwise

Relax and wash away the negativity in this softening, minty milk bath! If you have any aches or pains then the mint should be able to relax your body a little bit as well!
🥛 What you need
- 1 cup whole milk (or milk alternative - soy would be next best) - 2-3 drops of peppermint essential oil - a few fresh mint leaves (optional) - Unscented liquid bubble bath (optional) - Mint tea (optional)
If you’re using bubble bath then add this first, then add your milk and your peppermint oil. When your bath has run you can sprinkle a few fresh mint leaves over the top for added minty goodness!
Stay in the bath for as long as you want to, think about washing away what you need healing while you bathe. If you have tea then absolutely think of your intent while you drink it as well!
