Cappella di San Domenico at the Basilca di San Giovanni e Paolo (colloquially known as Santi Giovani e Paolo or San Zanipolo), Venice, Italy. The Basilica was constructed in the Italian Gothic style and served as the place where the funeral services of all of Venice’s doges were conducted from the 15th century onward. This Chapel of Saint Dominic was begun in 1690, to replace an earlier one built in 1348 conceived by Andrea Tirali.
