Supercorp Trailer AU | The Promise | Kara & Lena

Based on the movie/book The Vow. Lena has an accident and obviously loses her memory. Lot of angst.

anonymous asked:

Oh no the Tale of Desperaux movie is one hundred percent bad very bad no good at all, you're right about that. It makes me extra angry because it was based on a book that I loved very much and it ruined the entire thing, fuck the Tale of Desperaux movie, it's shit.

see people keep telling me that it was based off of a pretty dark book, which i never knew but that breaks my heart bc thats even more tragic and i hate this movie more now

The Houses as Bookworms
  • Gryffindor: absolutely adores books but still wishes they read more, takes really aesthetic book photos, doesn’t waste their time on a book they know they won’t like, pretty critical about book to movie adaptations, considers other people’s reviews before picking up a book, reads their books in class even when they probably shouldn’t, loves borrowing books from others
  • Hufflepuff: will plow through book after book and then not read for an entire month, attempts to organize books alphabetically or by colour but in the end just tries to squeeze them in anywhere, probably re-reads more old books than they read new books, only presents they want are books, may not finish books super quickly but loves them nonetheless
  • Ravenclaw: reads books at an alarming rate, can and will read on any form of transportation, wears glasses, instead of listening to music they’re actually listening to audio books, starts reading a good book but then gets distracted by another and completely forgets about the old one, usually critical of the protagonist.
  • Slytherin: attempts to read over 20 books at the same time, ships everything, loves it when they’re friends read a book that they recommend, they have to finish the whole series no matter what, gets defensive when someone doesn’t recognize them as a reader, wants to read all the books their friends have read so they can contribute their own opinions to discussions

Carry On Epilogue

“I was eleven years old, and I’d lost my mother, and my soul, and the Crucible gave me you.”
“It made us roommates,” he says.
I shake my head. “We were always more.”
“We were enemies.”
“You were the centre of my universe,” I say. “Everything else spun around you.”
“Because of what I was, Baz. Because of my magic.”
“No.” I’m nearly as frustrated as he is. “Yes. I mean, Crowley, Snow—yes, that was part of it. Looking at you was like looking directly into the sun.”
“I’ll never be that again.”
“No. And thank magic.” I sigh forcefully. “The way you were before … Simon Snow, there wasn’t a day when I believed we’d both live through it.”
“Through what?”
“Life. You were the sun, and I was crashing into you. I’d wake up every morning and think, ‘This will end in flames.’”

The Rules of Chopper Base

Seeing as it’s gone next week, have a few silly thoughts about life on Atollon!

The Rules of Chopper Base - by Phoenix Squadron

  • We only have 1 training A-Wing, so be careful with it!
  • Don’t claim the krykna ate your mission briefing notes - they can’t get past the perimeter!
  • Don’t leave your helmets lying around
    • It’s not regulation, and Lieutenant Bridger will steal them.
  • Don’t ever claim a maneuver is impossible while Phoenix leader is in earshot.
  • Don’t ask if Phoenix Leader and the Jedi are going to get married
    • Don’t ask when Phoenix Leader and the Jedi are going to get married
    • Don’t ask if Phoenix Leader and the Jedi are already married
  • Don’t play chance cubes with Lieutenant Bridger.  He always wins.  Cheater.
    • No-one can prove anything! - Ezra
  • You are no longer allowed to go on missions myself or commander Sato haven’t assigned.  Especially any “supply raids”.  We do not need more alcohol. - Phoenix Leader
  • Asking Hobbie “what’s your actual job?” stopped being funny after the second time Lieutenant Bridger made that joke.  Please stop.
  • Never ask Lieutenant Wren about art.  I will never be able to forgot early-modern colour theory now!
    • I thought you said you were interested in my artwork? - Sabine
  • Don’t bother complaining to Commander Sato or Phoenix leader if that kriffing astromech electrocutes you.  Apparently it means “he likes you” or something.
  • Don’t try and flirt with either Lieutenant Bridger or Lieutenant Wren.  You will be reassigned to somewhere horrible.
    • Ezra is 17!  What is wrong with you all?
  • Don’t insult AP-5 where he can hear you.  He’ll stock your A-Wing with the worst ration bars.
  • Stop asking  Lieutenant Bridger what happened to his promotion.  It makes him look like a kicked loth-kitten.
  • The dokma are cute.  Yes, fine.  Now can we please talk about something else?
  • Our hidden base is very impressive.  Do Not boast about it over the comms!  What is wrong with you all?
  • Yes, Lieutenant Wren is amazing at everything, but don’t be jealous.
    • Did you write this, Sabine? - Ezra

I guess I might do a mini series of MC playing around with RFA boys’ hair, if I feel like it…
