This photo was taken at the Farmer’s Market in West Hollywood. By the end of this project, I hope to photograph as many barber shops as possible. But I wonder how Rockwell would have felt about tattoos.
Walking into a crowded barber shop you don’t frequent. It’s like everyone looks at you for an explanation.
“Who yo peoples?”
…I don’t see how that matters
“You been hea before?”
….no, I just need a haircut…is that ok? Is there a problem?
“Lebron finally got a ring! Whachu think bout dat”
…are you open or not? I don’t really watch sports soooooo…
“Hmm, I’ll cut you this time, but you’ve been warned. We don’t know you, so we will judge you.”
