Robert Rian Dawson was born on December 18 1987 in Baltimore, Maryland in the USA. He plays drums for All Time Low, altough he stated in an interview by Rocksound that can also play the piano. He started playing drums when he was nine years old and he was the third person to join the band after he and Jack Barakat met in french class.
Watch this video for a masterclass on how to handle a mainstream media interview on Baltimore.
“Freddie Gray won’t be back. Those windows will be…”
Deray, totally aced this interview. There is so much to be learned here, about how the media operates and how to appropriately set the narrative when dealing with someone attempting to frame it in a manner that is decontextualized and cherry-picked. Deray put it all back in proper perspective and did so with a Blaxploitation cool. What a star.
My name is Ashley Sauers and I’m a photographer from Baltimore, Maryland (USA). I’ve almost exclusively worked with film cameras since I first started photography, as my digital cameras have all coincidentally gotten damaged or stolen along the way. Medium format has been my true love and I’ve been shooting with a Pentax 6x7 for the past several months. Everything about the process of working with film is precarious and vulnerable. I think analogue photographers must have a personality type that finds beauty in these qualities.
