i miss the rachel berry i used to love :( what happened to her

The mapping on of patriarchal stereotypes to strong and interesting female characters as a result of a lack of inspiration and dedication to the project.

ie, RIB going, “Well what the fuck do we do with her now? Uh… uh… Housewife! That’s what women want to be!”

Downton Abbey is my one reprieve from heartbreak

You know, that’s a good point. I do all right with Downton, although what Anna and Bates are going through right now is just awful.

i personally haven’t succeeded yet. i don’t think any of my major OTPs ended up together.

I actually went back and looked, and Han and Leia.

I’ve got one.

the heart wants what the heart wants. Is it better to have shipped and lost than never to have shipped at all?

I love it when you get philosophical.

Maybe McDanno? Or at least we all hope it isn’t doomed. (Unless you’re just referring to canon ships.)

Will never be canon = doomed.

Also, Lenkov has never impressed me with his views regarding the depictions of relationships on his show, so I’m not sure if I’d ever want that as much as I ship them and only them. You know?

Sorry, I can’t help you. I have been an unconventional shipper from the start and will continue to be so. =/

You and me both, friend. You and me both.
