Fun Fact: The Banks Got Bailed Out, We Got Sold Out

If was revealed that the U.S. gave $7.7 trillion to bailout the banks since the recession. If you evenly distribute that money to 313.9 million citizens, every single American would have received $24,530.11, enough to eradicate poverty (the poverty level for one person is $11,490).

If everyone knew this fact, could we/would we resist?

THE COMING INSURRECTION by The Invisible Committee

It’s useless to wait - for a breakthrough, for the revolution, the nuclear apocalypse or a social movement. To go on waiting is madness. The catastrophe is not coming, it is here. We are already situated WITHIN the collapse of a civilization. It is within this reality that we must choose sides.

Greece to hold referendum

All hail the return of democratic procedures!

If I were to listen to (and believe) what the media says I would say we are bound to starve to death either way. Thankfully I know that the media are nothing more than a bucket of crap.

Still, if it were true, I’d much rather die fast and with my head held high knowing I made my choices, than have a slow tortured end trying to fatten up the bankers’ pockets.

Fellow citizents of Greece, say fucking  NO.

No more working without wages.
No more paying senseless taxes.
No more dead immigrants and starving families.
No more being unable to get medical care.
No more slaving and selling out a whole nation for the bankers’ benefits.

I had no idea people didn't like april! She was my first favorite character and remained so for several years (now I kinda have phases, but most of the time I really can't decide which character's my favorite). She was one of the reasons I liked parks and rec in the first place. I remember telling this to my cousin and expecting her to feel the same and she just couldn't understand why I liked april so much.

I mainly think that people have this idea of April that is just not who she is. They say she hates everyone and then she does stuff like this

They’ll basically ignore every sort of depth and nuance the character has and only remember her snarky one-liners, as if that’s all she is. She is vastly more than that.
