the Hamsa is a symbol of protection found throughout Israel and the Middle East. it reminds me of how comfortable and safe I felt throughout my time serving at the Baha'i World Centre in Israel. Shana Tov, my friends, and I hope for peace in this New Year.
One of the things I love about the Baha'i World Centre is all the little hidden spaces. Everything is treated with such care so there are beautiful courtyards and skylights in small everyday places in addition to the Shrines and Gardens. It makes me happy to be surrounded by such beauty and recognize the labors of love it takes for the gardens to be maintained and the buildings to be kept immaculate.
