Y/N sat with Liz in the lunchroom , hearing their friends talking about Spider-Man once again. “He brings hope to the city. It’s like, we know that someone is looking out for us.” One of them said. Y/N thought about all the things the man has done for the city. I wonder if his life is good, if he’s happy in his real life, Y/N thought.
The topic was quickly changed when an announcement for Homecoming was made over the blaring intercom. “Students, don’t forget to buy your tickets for Homecoming next Friday.” The voice boomed, making all of the students start talking about the event.
Liz turned to Y/N, “So,” she said taking a bite from her food, “who are you going to the dance with?” All of their friends tuned in to what the two girls were saying.
Y/N shrugged her shoulders. She wanted to go with Peter Parker, the smartest kid at Midtown High, if she went in the first place. Homecoming is going to be crowded and loud, with a bunch of annoying kids. Y/N didn’t want that. “I don’t think I’m going, actually. I’m probably gonna spend my night watching TV or something.” Y/N said, shaking her head like it was nothing.
“But Y/N,” one of her friends said enthusiastically, “You have to go! Peter is probably going, you should too!” She nodded her head behind Y/N. Y/N looked behind her to see Peter and Ned eating their lunch a few tables away. But he’s going to be dancing and hanging out with a girl that isn’t me, she thought.
Y/N smiled, “As much as I would love to go with him, it’s not gonna happen. He’s probably taking a super pretty girl with him and he’ll have a blast. Just,” she trailed off, starting to get quieter,“just not with me.” Y/N sighed, slumping her shoulders. Liz looked over at her giving her a sympathetic smile. “If you don’t want to go, you don’t have to. It would be nice if you went though.”
Y/N returned the smile, “Thanks for understanding Liz.” Liz nodded her head, “Anytime.” She gave her attention back to her friends to hear the rest of their thoughts.
Peter Parker sat a few tables away, having the same conversation that Y/N was having. “Are you going to ask her to Homecoming?” Ned asked Peter looked at his friend as if he was crazy. “W-What? No. Never. I can barely form a sentence around her, let alone ask her out.” Peter said as he gazed down at his lap. He looked back up to her, admiring her from behind. Y/N turned around and Peter quickly looked away and muttered “Oh God.”
Ned looked confused at the teenager. Peter’s face was beet red, “I think she saw me. Oh God,oh God, she saw me staring at her man.”
Ned looked over at the girl who was now facing her friends talking. “I don’t think she did. Just breathe, she probably didn’t see. I mean you turned your head so fast that you might have whiplash.” He chuckled. Peter sighed, “Maybe you’re right.”
“Right about what?” Michelle asked as she reached the table with the two boys.
“Well, I asked Peter if he was asking Y/N to the dance and he started staring at her. She turned around and might’ve caught him.” Ned explained to the Michelle as she sat down. Peter hit Ned’s shoulder with the back of his hand, “Dude. Seriously?”
“What?” Ned asked, completely clueless at Peter’s new beacon of embarrassment. Before their bickering cold continue, Michelle started talking. “Actually, while I was walking over here, I heard that she wasn’t going. And I might’ve heard,” she stated trying to be dramatic, “that she was super bummed out that you were probably going with a different girl that isn’t her.”
Peter sat shocked. “You’re lying.” He said. There is no way that the girl he has had a crush on for years, is into him. Him of all people.
“I wouldn’t lie about true love, Parker.” Michelle replied, kind of mockingly.
“How are you going to ask her?” Ned asked. Peter was messing with the cuffs of her sleeves. “I-I don’t think I will.”
Ned looked shocked. “You have to. You finally have a chance to be with her.” Peter looked around, “I’m too scared. Besides, she said she didn’t want to go and I respect that.”
“Your loss,” Michelle said opening one of her books.
It was the Friday night of Homecoming and Y/N sat on her couch surrounded by her fluffy blankets, with a show paused on the TV screen and a water bottle in hand. She was on her phone talking to Liz, giving some advice for her outfit. “Should I wear the silver earrings I got for my birthday?” Liz asked. “Yeah, they match your dress very well.” Y/N replied, taking a sip of her drink.
“Y/N are you sure you don’t want to go? I might have an extra dress.” Liz asked, she didn’t want her friend to be alone while everyone else was having a blast.
“Yeah I’m sure. I’m fine with my TV shows and blankets. Go have fun!” Y/N stated, assuring the girl that everything would be fine. “You sure?” Liz asked, wanting to make sure her friend was okay.
“100%.” Y/N replied with a smile on her fave that she knew Liz couldn’t see. “Alright, I have to go. My date is here. If you need anything call me.” Liz said, while Y/N heard shuffling in the background. “See you later Ms. Allen.” Y/N said chuckling to herself. “You too.”
Y/N sat on the cuddled into her blankets as she clicked play on her TV remote. As soon as the show started, there was knock on the front door. Y/N was confused, was it Liz? She got up to answer the door.
Y/N opened the door, do just her body was seen. She was greeted with the smiling yet nervous face of Peter Parker, holding a bouquet of red roses with a backpack on his back and a couple grocery bags filled with chips, candy and other snacks. Y/N stood in front of him, lips parted slightly.
“P-Peter. What are you doing here?” She asked with wide eyes. Peter glanced down at his old shoes. “I heard that you were, uh,” he looked back up at her, “I heard you were spending the night in on-on Homecoming so, I wanted to join you. If that’s okay.” He stammered biting his bottom lip.
Y/N smiled widely, opening the door all the way. “Come on in.” If it was anyone else at the door, she would’ve probably made up an excuse. But it wasn’t anyone else, it was her crush. Peter smiled back. He walked through the door, waiting for her to indicate where he could go.
Y/N shut the door and moved to face him. Peter looked at the flowers in his hand, “These are f-for you.” He handed you the flowers.
The girl smiled, “Thanks Pete.” She called me Pete, was all he could think about as Y/N went to put the flowers in a vase. She quickly came back after putting the vase in a good spot.
“You can sit down Peter.” Y/N said as he followed her to the couch.
“Seems like you were having a real party, huh?” Peter said sarcastically with a small smile on his lips, seeing the TV and her blankets. “What gave it away?” Y/N replied back with the same amount of sarcasm.
“I brought food.” Peter emptied out the two grocery bags with the snacks onto the couch between the two of them. Y/N smiled. Tonight was going to be fun.
Peter turned and looked at the clock to see it was one in the morning. All night was spent with him and Y/N getting to know each other, cracking jokes, and watching bad late night TV shows. It was like they had known each other for their entire lives. She fell asleep a while ago, her head resting on Peter’s chest, with a blanket wrapped securely around the pair. He sat there, playing with her hair, glad that he skipped Homecoming. Peter sighed contently, looking back up at the TV which now had the news on. A robbery at fifth and third. “Shit,” he muttered, moving Y/N off of his chest and onto the couch.
He dashed out her front door with only his backpack in hand, with his Spider-Man suit inside.
Y/N woke up 10 the next morning still on the couch, with all the snacks from last night littering the floor. It was fun hanging out with Peter. She was kind of happy that she didn’t spend Homecoming alone. She searched for her phone to check the time. Once she found the device she saw a text from Peter.
Hey, sorry I had to leave. My Aunt called me and said that I had to go back home. Maybe we can do this again sometime at my place?
Y/N smiled at the text. Maybe I can get the guy of my dreams, she thought as she typed a reply.
1. “We have the same favorite book, and we always check it out from the library. We’ve never met, but the librarians are starting to ship us, and are coming up with ridiculous excuses for us to meet.”
2. “My dog absolutely adores you, and you absolutely adore my dog. Whenever we see each other, the two of you play for a good half-hour, at least. That’s great and all, but what’s your name?”
3. “I was planning on proposing to the person I was dating, but then, I found out they were cheating on me. They don’t know I know, and you suggest I go ahead and go through with it, with a slight twist: I propose to YOU, instead.”
4. “We’re both shopping for the same obscure item. This is the fifth store I’ve seen you at… Want to join forces?”
5. “I’m an actor, and part of my costume is a wedding ring, but I totally forgot I was wearing it. Now you’re yelling at me for flirting with you, and I have no clue how to get a word in edgewise to explain.”
6. “There’s only one bag of my favorite candy left, and you’re about to put it in your cart. Please don’t, seriously. I’ve had an awful week, and I need my candy fix.”
7. “I’ve never actually met the person my sibling is going to marry, but you’re always there at the wedding planning, so I just assumed it was you. But now you’re asking me out? And you’re actually the future spouse’s best friend? Oh, wow, I was not expecting that.”
8. “If you hug me, I will stab you-Oh, my gosh. You aren’t my best friend, you’re a stranger, and you look slightly terrified of me now. Please don’t call the police, I’m not actually going to stab anyone.”
9. “I passed out in a public place, and you sat with me for several hours to make sure no one harassed me? That is both sweet and strange.”
10. “We’re neighbors, and you always hear me screaming about my cooking disasters, and swoop in to save me. I probably should start paying you, honestly.”

Summary: You’re working at your dad’s deli shop, just like any other day after school, when a certain boy walks in and strikes up an interesting conversation with your father.
A/N: I love this so much, it was so much fun to write!! Part 2??? Yes, no, maybe so?
It was like any other day for you. After school, you dropped your books off at your apartment and grabbed a quick snack before heading down the block to the deli. Seeing as your dad was the owner, you were kind of obligated to help out there when you had free time. You didn’t mind, though, working the register wasn’t really all that bad. You were just lucky that you didn’t have to be the one actually making the sandwiches.
Today, in particular, you had completed most of your homework in study hall, so you weren’t worried about rushing home to finish it. It was still early in the afternoon, though, so the small shop was still empty. You were seated on the stool behind the counter, scrolling through your phone and keeping one earbud out so you could listen for the familiar ring of the door when a customer walked in.
After about fifteen minutes of doing this, you eventually grew extremely bored. Placing your phone down on the counter and pulling out the single earbud, you turned to your dad, who was busy stocking shelves. “Is there anything I can do? This is boring.” You complained, standing up.
Your dad shook his head slowly, chuckling, before picking up one of the cardboard boxes and shoving it towards you. “Here, chica, go help in the back. Put these away, you know where they go.”
Nodding contently with the moderately heavy box in your arms, you turned on your heel and walked into the back area of the store. Just as you entered, you heard the ding of the doorbell. Figures, as soon as you leave, a customer comes in.
Placing the box down, you began taking the packages of condiments and utensils out. From the main area, you were able to hear the conversation happening between your dad and the person. You recognized the second voice as belonging to none other than Peter Parker. He was in your grade, and you shared a few classes, but you’d never really had a solid conversation. He was a regular customer here, though.
Tuning most of it out, you quickly put the items in their respective containers. You only started listening intently when you could hear your father start speaking in Spanish.
“Ella es una mujer italiana bellísima.” You heard him say, visibly cringing at how strange the sentence sounded. Wondering who on earth he could possibly be talking about, you knew for sure it wasn’t your own mother, you stopped restocking and headed back out into the main area.
“¿Y cómo está tu hija, eh?”
You stopped dead in your tracks, but you’d made it far enough out into the room that you could see who the voice belonged to. And damn, he looked cute today. Peter was wearing a light blue sweater with a collar popping out of the top. His brown hair curled around his ears, and his dark brown eyes crinkled up at the sides as he lightly laughed.
A million thoughts were running through your head. He hadn’t even noticed you were there, he couldn’t have been talking about you. He did know that you were your father’s daughter, though, right?
Before you could tell yourself otherwise, using a sudden wave of confidence that had washed over you at the sight of how good he looked, you stepped further into view of the two of them. “Hmm, estoy bien, ¿y tú?”
The words flew out of your mouth before you had a chance to stop them, but for some reason saying them aloud gave you even more confidence. You met Peter’s eyes as you said them, and watched as a deep crimson blush arose on his pale cheeks. You raised your eyebrows, waiting for him to respond. Peter opened his mouth to say something, but your dad came rushing over to you and gave you a stern look.
“(Y/N), don’t you have shelves to be restocking? Off you go, adiós.” He shook his head, placing his hand on your shoulder and guiding you to the back area.
“Wait, Peter didn’t answer my question!” Smirking, you squirmed out of his grasp and walked behind the counter, now even closer to the incredibly flustered boy.
He was a mumbling, incoherent mess. It gave you a funny feeling in your stomach, knowing that you made him so nervous. This was the literal smartest kid in your whole grade, and here he was, tripping over his words just because you had flirted back at him.
Peter cleared his throat, placing the sandwich and bag of candy on the register in front of you along with a ten dollar bill. You put his stuff into a plastic bag, before putting the money in the register and carefully counting out his change.
When you handed the few singles and coins back to him, your hands brushed against each other. It was only for a split second, but it was enough for both of you to now be blushing. Peter’s eyes widened, before shoving the money into the pocket of his jeans and grabbing the bag of food. He was on his way out, you watching as you bit your lip to hide a smile.
Pushing open the door, he was almost fully out of the store before he turned around and looked at you. “I’m great, actually. I mean, my crush just totally flirted with me, so of course I’m good.”
Your jaw dropped, face flushing an even brighter shade of red before the door clanged shut behind him and Peter was gone.

WORD COUNT: 3,420
The music was blasting, the beer was flowing, and Jessica and Justin were on the verge of procreating on the couch. (Y/n) rolled her eyes at the two sophomores and squeezed through the crowd, balancing the two drinks in her hands as she weaved around the drunk teenagers. She finally made it outside, sucking in a breath of the cooling autumn air and sighing. She was pretty sure Monty had brushed up against her ass. Horny asshole.
She looked around the far less populated, but still crowded, front yard, picking out her boyfriend from the way his poofy hair stood out above everyone else. He was talking to Clay, and as she approached she saw him roll his eyes violently, his whole body swaying with the force of it.
Damn Jensen, she thought with a laugh, you’re gonna break my boyfriend of you and Hannah don’t bang soon.
“Baby, your eyes are gonna get stuck like that.”
Jeff turned, his face changing as he looked at her. He lit up, grinned, and looked her up and down. “Hey babe! Listen, tell Clay he’s being stupid alright?”
She sighed, holding out his drink. “Coke for you, and Clay, you’re being an idiot.”
“I’m leaving.” Clay threw up his hands, exasperated.
“Woah,” (Y/n) lunged forward, catching his arm. Something was obviously wrong, he always played along with her and Jeff, and he was nervous, fidgeting with the hem of his shirt. “What’s up Clay? You alright?”
“I’m fine.” He shrugged out of her grip. “I just wanna go home alright?”
“Hannah kicked him out of the bedroom.” Jeff said, crossing his arms. “And now Clay’s being a baby and won’t go talk to her about it. Go talk to her Clay.”
“Leave him alone,” She elbowed his side. “If Clay is too afraid to–”
“I’m not afraid!” Clay snapped. He looked between the two of them, mouth moving soundlessly, and he growled, spinning on his heel and charging towards the house. “I know what you two assholes are doing!” He shouted over his shoulder, shoving Zach out of the way as he reentered the house, flashing you both the middle finger.
“Wow.” (Y/n) laughed softly, looking up at Jeff and cradling her Palm Bay in both hands. “He is so whipped.”
“Yup.” Jeff wrapped his arm around her shoulders, pulling her against his side. “How’re you doing?”
She tilted her face up, kissing him softly. He smiled against her mouth, teeth catching her bottom lip playfully, and she shivered. But there were too many jocks around to really get into it right now. Damn the jocks. She broke away, taking a sip of her drink to keep from kissing him again. “I’m good. You? Jessica managed to remove her tongue from inside Justin’s mouth long enough to tell me they need more beer, and Sheri’s moving the car so you can get out.”
He nodded, attention a little too focused on her mouth and not enough on what she was saying. She nudged his side and he sighed, grinning sheepishly. “Sorry. Yeah I’m good. There’s no vodka in this right?” He wiggled the red cup.
She shook her head. “You have practice tomorrow, I figured you wouldn’t want to drink anymore.”
He kissed her temple, pulling her harder against his side until she was drowning in the smell of him. She wrapped her arms around his waist. “Thanks baby.”
“Love you.” She mumbled into his chest. Booze made her sentimental.
“Love you too.” He smiled down at her. “You wanna come?”
She nodded. He slid his hand down her back, giving her ass a quick pat. She smacked his hand, laughing, and he grinned down at her, pulling her towards the car. They settled in, and his hand found her knee, tapping a beat against the side of her leg as he turned on the car and the radio started blasting. He started singing along to some country song that made her roll her eyes, but when he looked at her dramatically, wiggling his eyebrows at her, she was forced to sing along.
“OH AND I’M HIGH ON LOVING YOU, HIGH ON LOVING YOU!” He pointed to her, bobbing his head.
“I’m leaving you.”
“I love you too.” He winked at her as he pulled into the beer store parking lot. “Wait here while I run in?” He asked, getting out of the car.
“No I’ll come.” She reached for her door handle, but Jeff pointed the control at the car and clicked the lock button. The door handle jerked in her hand, but the door stayed closed. “Seriously?” She undid the lock, and he pressed the button again, winking at her. He grabbed the passenger side handle, pressed the button again, and opened the door for her.
“M’lady.” He smiled with a mock-bow.
She rolled her eyes. “You are so lame.”
He leaned forward, pecking her lips. “I love you.”
She sighed, taking his hand as he led her towards the store. “I love you too you big dork.”
He wrapped his arm around her shoulders again, and her arms slid around his waist as they browsed the store, grabbing a couple six packs and some more coolers. He also grabbed a bag of chips, some candy, and a smoothie that he knew she liked. She kissed him again for that, pressing his back against the freezer. His hands found her ass, her fingers tangled in his hair and played with his earring, and they didn’t stop until he mumbled something about getting frostbite in a place that would stop this from going much further into the sensitive skin of her neck. She laughed, pushing him away and squeezing her legs a little closer together as they walked over to the cash register. He pinched her ass while they waited in line, wrapping an arm around her waist and pulling her back flush against his chest. As punishment, she rolled her hips backwards, grinding them against his front subtly, making him groan. Served him right, trying to tease her. Little asshole.
He payed fast, practically throwing money at the cashier, grabbed (y/n) around the knees, throwing her over his shoulder. She shrieked, laughing and kicking and smacking his back.
“Put me down you idiot!” She laughed. “What the hell Jeff?” She bumped his stomach with her knee, causing him to grunt.
“Whoops.” She said sarcastically. “Put me down.”
Don’t move so much babe, I’m gonna drop the beer.” He nudged her hip with his chin, shifting the heavy box between his hands.
“Maybe if you put me down I could help carry stuff.” She rolled her eyes at his antics, but she was blushing and enjoying her lovely view of his ass.
“Just enjoy the view babe.” He teased, approaching the car. “Shit you’re heavy.”
She rolled her eyes. “Thanks honey, I love you too.”
He put the beer on top of the car and put her down, barely giving her a second to adjust to the change in gravity before he had her back pressed against the car door, fingers tunneling into her hair as he kissed her. She laughed against his mouth, running her hands over his chest, and then pushed him away gently.
“Baby,” he groaned, bumping his hips gently against hers.
“We can’t,” she shook her head, breathless. “Gotta take the beer back, then check on Clay and Hannah, drive them home, and then we can go home and–” She ran her tongue over her bottom lip, mind wandering to why exactly they could do when they got home.
His eyes widened when he saw where her mind was going. “Really?” He asked, voice husky.
She nodded. “But we’ve gotta go fast, before I change my mind.”
“Fuck yes.” He lunged forward, gave her one more rough kiss, and then all but forced her into the car. He grinned as he got into the driver’s seat, right hand settling on her thigh. “I’m gonna get you home so fast your head will spin.” He promised, fingers tapping a beat against the sensitive skin of her inner thigh. “But after, we’re doing this shit slow.”
She laughed as he jerked the car into gear, peeling out of the parking lot. The tires actually squeaked, and she heard the beer sliding in the back seat.
“Slow down Jeff!” She laughed, grabbing the door handle for support as he took a sharp turn. “You know we have to be alive to–”
Something hit the floor, glass clinking, and she swore, twisting in her seat. Jeff slowed down considerably, both because they were approaching a busier street and because she was undoing her seatbelt.
“What are you doing?”
“The beer’s gonna fall.” She shrugged.
“Don’t worry about it, put your seatbelt on.” He looked down at her as she twisted in the seat, climbing over the plastic space between the two seats to reach the back. “Seriously babe. It’s not safe for you to be doing that. Crap.” He twisted the wheel violently to make the turn onto a backroad as they drew closer to Jessica’s house.
“Shit!” she swore. “Jeff keep your eyes on the road.”
“Maybe if you stayed in your seat you wouldn’t be bumping around back there.” He shot a look at her, getting an eyeful of her jean-clad ass. “Why am I complaining again?” He turned his attention back to the road.
“It’s fine.” She groaned, twisting back into her seat, the box of drinks in her hands. “See? I got it.” She smiled at him.
“So flexible.” He winked at her, slowing down at the intersection. “Come on baby put your seatbelt on.”
“Alright alright,” she nodded, balancing the box of beer onto the dashboard and twisting to put on her seatbelt. “You’re such a mom Jeff you know that?”
“Come on you love it.” He looked at her in the mirror as he sped up again. “But I mean, I prefer being called–”
Everything happened really fast. One second he was making an innuendo, the next another car sped through the intersection, slamming into the back of the car. They fishtailed, cars sliding on the wet asphalt, and (y/n) screamed. Jeff spun the wheel, slamming on the brakes, as the car slid towards the concrete barrier. They both jerked forward, (y/n) slamming into Jeff’s outstretched arm. The beer slid off the dashboard and slammed into (y/n)’s legs. The car slid to a stop, and they both sat there, panting.
Jeff swallowed, looking over at (y/n) who was staring at him with wide eyes. She didn’t seem aware of the sticky beer splashed across her chest, stomach and lap, or the metal can balancing on her knee. Her knuckles were white, wrapped around the armrest of the door, and all the blood had rushed from her face. He lowered his arm, resting his hand on her knee. He tightened his grip on her thigh until his hand stopped shaking.
“A-are you,” Jeff swallowed, “Are you okay?”
She nodded, still looking at him with wide eyes.
“You sure?” He looked down at the beer in her lap. “Babe you’re covered in beer.”
She nodded again. “Baby, did you–” she ran a shaky hand through her hair, “did you just soccer mom me?”
“What?” He laughed, a sharp, nervous bark, but it was enough. They both started breathing again. She closed her eyes, leaning her head back against the headrest, and he started running his thumb over her thigh, his other hand releasing a death grip he didn’t realize he had on the doorknob. “Holy fuck. Are you okay?”
She blinked, running her hand through her hand again. “I um, no. My legs really fucking hurt.”
“Seriously?” Jeff put the car in park and took off his seatbelt, turning in his seat. “Shit what’s wrong?”
“Nothing I just– oh my god!” She pointed at the window and Jeff jumped, twisting in his seat. His heart skipped a beat when he saw an old man tap on the glass of his window. He swallowed, turning to look at (y/n), who shrugged, eyes like saucers. He turned back to the window, keeping his hand on her leg.
“Um, hi?” He rolled down the window.
“Are you alright?” The old man asked, looking onto the car with a face full of concern. “I’m so sorry! I was on the phone, I wasn’t looking, I- I’m so sorry. Are you two okay?” He leaned forward to get a closer look at (y/n), making Jeff’s grip tighten on her thigh. “Are you okay honey?”
(Y/n) nodded shakily. “Are- are you okay sir?”
“I’m fine. I’m fine. Don’t worry about me sweetheart. Are you sure you two are alright?” The old man was practically shaking as he looked between the two of them, wringing phone between his hands in guilt. He reminded Jeff of his own granddad. “We should call 911.”
Jeff shook his head. His seventeen year old girlfriend was probably still a little buzzed, and he wasn’t sure what his blood alcohol content was. He knew he was okay to drive, and that he hadn’t done anything wrong, but he didn’t want to risk it. “We’re okay. Don’t worry about it.”
“No, listen I- I dented the back of your car. I should pay for the damage.” The man reached for his wallet. “I can–”
“That’s okay.” Jeff interrupted, but the man wouldn’t be stopped.
“Give me your home number at least. I’ll get in touch with your parents, we’ll figure this out.”
The man wouldn’t take no for an answer, and Jeff eventually gave in. The two swapped contact information, and Jeff called his parents, explaining what had happened and letting the man talk to them. Jeff turned his attention back to his girlfriend, who was sitting quietly in the passenger seat.
“Are you okay?” He asked, half inside the car, leaning over the driver’s seat to look at her. “You’ve got glass and crap on you.”
“I’m fine.” She nodded.
He couldn’t tear his eyes off the glass littering her lap, the drying beer and streaks of blood from where the glass had cut her up. “Baby–”
“I promise I’m okay.” She nodded again. “My eyes are up here Jeff.” He chuckled softly, more to humour her than anything else, and tore his eyes up to meet hers. They were wide and shiny with nervous tears, and he reached out and took her hand, giving it a reassuring squeeze.
“I love you.” He said quietly, trying to put as much meaning as he could into the three words they had been tossing around casually all night. “I love you so much.”
“I love you too.” She gave him a watery smile, squeezing his hand. “I’m okay. I promise.”
Four hours later, after the cops and ETM had cleared them to go home, and (y/n)’s parents had taken her home to pick up some stuff, she was in his room, lying on his bed. Their parents had allowed them to have a sleepover, the first one they knew about, after what had happened. It wasn’t even a dangerous accident, but everyone was freaked out. (Y/n)’s parents approved of him, and while her dad was obviously not thrilled by the sleepover, all four parents had agreed that the two of them needed this. And while Jeff wanted to convince everyone that he was fine and that nothing was wrong, he wasn’t going to argue with a parent-approved night spent with his girlfriend.
At first (y/n) had stood hesitantly in his doorway, her hands playing nervously with the strap of her duffel bag. “I um, I know we had… other plans for tonight, but,” she sighed.
“Hey,” He laughed softly, getting off the bed and walking over to her, pulling her into a hug with his right arm. His left shoulder was sore from the jerk of his seat belt. “You’re on a crapton of pain killers because of your legs, and I’ve got a sore shoulder, plus, you know, we almost died earlier, so get in my bed and cuddle with me.”
She smiled. “You’re not upset we’re not gonna do anything else?”
“My parents are in the other room with their ears to the door probably, so we weren’t gonna get much done anyway.” He shrugged. When she rolled his eyes and smacked his chest he pulled her tighter against his side and kissed the top of her head. “It’s fine baby. I just wanna hold you.”
“You’re perfect.” She mumbled, looking up at him and smiling. “I love you Jeff.”
He leaned forward and kissed her gently, sliding both arms around her waist and pulling her tight against him, ignoring the twinge of pain through his shoulder. Her hands slid up his stomach, grabbing fistfuls of the loose t-shirt he was wearing and tugging his closer. He felt her shiver against him and pulled away, looking down in concern. Her bottom lip quivered and his eyebrows drew together. “What’s wrong beautiful?”
“I–” Her voice cracked, and tears spilled out of her eyes. She hid her forehead in his chest. “I’m sorry,” she mumbled, “I just, I–” her breath hitched. “I just can’t shake this feeling that something really bad just happened.”
“Why?” He asked, wrapping his arms around her shoulders and holding her close. “Baby we’re fine. Everything’s okay.”
“I know but– but–” she shuddered, a sob slipping free as she slid her arms around his waist.
Jeff walked backwards, pulling her with him until they reached the bed. He sat down, tugging her into his lap, and wrapped his arms around her waist. She buried her face in the space where his neck met his shoulder and cried.
“We’re okay,” he said quietly, running his fingers up and down her spine. “We’re both fine. My shoulder’s gonna be sore for a couple weeks, and you’re gonna be kinda bruised, and probably not be able to wear shorts for a while, which now that I think about it is actually pretty terrible I take back everything I just said this is the worst thing that’s ever happened to us.”
She laughed, sniffling, and wiped her eyes. “Shut up dummy.”
He leaned forward and rested his forehead against hers. “See? We’re okay.”
She nodded, wiping her eyes. “Yeah. I’m sorry, I just, I can’t imagine losing you.”
“Well you’re not going to, so problem solved.” He kissed the tip of her nose. “I’m not going anywhere okay baby? And I promise I’m gonna drive safer, and I’m never gonna scare you like this any more okay?”
“It wasn’t your fault.” She shook her head, wiggling out of his lap and lying down. She grabbed his snuggle-pillow and wrapped her arms around it. “It was just scary you know? I thought we were gonna hit the concrete, and I could just see it, I could see smoke, and, and blood, and you weren’t moving, and–” her eyes welled up with tears again.
Jeff lay down on his side, propping himself up on his arm. “Come here.”
She moved forward so he could wrap his arm around her waist. “I’m sorry,” she shrugged, sniffling again, “I’m okay, I’ll be fine. I just want you to hold me.”
“Well that I can do.” Jeff smiled softly, laying down on his back. “Oh wait, hang on a second.” She moved back, giving him room to sit up. He tugged his shirt over his head and tossed it across the room, then winked at her. She snorted and he wiggled his eyebrows. “How much does this make you feel better?” He asked, flexing his chest and arms.
She laughed softly. “Much better. Thank you baby.”
He lay back down, kissing the tip of her nose, and patted his chest. “Come here to me honey.” He dropped his voice and wiggled his eyebrows again. (Y/n) giggled and rested her head on top of his chest, sliding her hands around his waist and hooking one leg over both of his. He wrapped his arms around her back, one hand reaching up to play with the ends of her hair while the other rubbed soothing circles against her hip. He kissed the top of her head.
“I love you Jeff Atkins.” (Y/n) mumbled sleepily.
He hummed, his chest rumbling. “I love you too beautiful. So much. And I promise I’m not going anywhere.”
It’s such a train wreck which is funny since they’re at an airport.
-Andrew and Aaron always swap passports as a joke
-Allison has at least five suitcases with her and hell if they think they’ll charge her extra for it.
-Renee does this weird thing where she stares blankly at people and freak them out.
-Matt is aggressively chewing gum and rattling off odds of how many planes crash per year followed by his rant on how planes just v a n i s h
-I should point out he has no fear of flying
-he’s just getting Nicky wound up
-Nicky is writing and rewriting his will every time Matt opens his mouth.
-no one is really sure if Andrew actually took out his knives before coming to the airport.
-if he has them, no one catches on.
-Neil gets dragged away since his passport is flagged by the FBI for security reasons and that means Dan has to chase him down
-actually Neil escaped airport security a while ago, man. He picked his way out of
the locked room and strolled out.
-Kevin is hung over and informing the elderly couple across from them about the potato famine and is going on forever, even after they run away.
-Aaron had to swear up and down that he wouldn’t start discussing the chemistry that was involved in explosives like he did the last time.
-Dan has to coral everyone up, and lord help her when they discover their gate has been switched from one end of the airport to the extreme opposite end and they have ten minutes to get there.
-Neil is wearing the weirdest sunglasses and hat he stole from Nicky to hide from security guards
-and they’re s p r i n t i n g
-Neil is leading, Dan is following them close behind the rest of them.
-she basically runs down Nicky when he starts panicking over ending up on an island like Lost. (She starts running on Matt’s heels for that.
-Allison is fucking crushing it, even in stiletto heels and an army of luggage.
-(Renee took a bag and Kevin was so hungover and confused why they were running that Allison convinced him that it was an exercise so our homeboy grabbed the two bags and sprinted.
-Andrew is literally only running because fuck if security guards catch Neil because Neil has his stash of candy and Andrew point blank will refuse to get on the plane if Neil isn’t there. (Only because of the candy though.)
-these guys barely make it on time
-security sees Neil from a distance but it’s to late, Matt hauls him into the plane when he starts flipping them off.
-they are the most disorganized chaos to ever hit first class.
-dan starts cursing Allison for thinking them all going to Paris was a good idea
-Renee is pretty content with her sprite soda and headphones while Nicky is holding her hand looking terrorized.
-Aaron and Kevin are going shot for shot
-Neil subtly hands over the bag of candy WHICH ALSO HAS ANDREW’S KNIVES over to Andrew
-Matt and Allison look far to pleased with themselves and Dan is done.
Summary → A year of silently pinning over your best friend and neighbor Bucky Barnes ends happier than expected when you spend Valentine’s Day together.
Word Count → 2.9K (I’m a wordy bitch, okay?)
Warnings → Cursing, oral sex (female receiving), unprotected sex (don’t be silly, wrap your willy!). Fluff? Definitely fluff.
A/N → Happy #FreakyFriday y’all! I apologize for the delay, but I had an unplanned twelve hour work shift today. With Valentine’s Day just around the corner, I thought I’d try my hand at fluffy smut (it’s a first for me - so go easy on this fic). Other than that, enjoy!
A nervous giggle flew from your lips as you twirled on your toes to face the full-length mirror hung over the back of your bedroom door. Your usual untamed knot of hair had been brushed and curled into effortless beach waves that cascaded down your shoulders and back. You wore nothing but Bucky’s trademark, burgundy Henley, which you’d confiscated the last time you’d done laundry together. It hung loosely over your frame, hitting mid-thigh and creating an innocently sexy, ‘girl next door’ type of vibe. You undid the first few buttons of the V-neck, to show off just the right amount of cleavage. You opted for some mascara and pink chapstick, making your lips appear fuller. Thoroughly satisfied with your appearance, you exited your room and tiptoed excitedly down the hall.
Over the past eighteen months, as your friendship with Bucky had grown closer, the both of you had developed several traditions. Every Sunday you’d get together for pasta, you’d lift weights with each other three times a week, and Tuesday nights were spent on Bucky’s couch with abundant amounts of junk food while binge watching television shows. Unless there was a particularly lengthy mission for the team or some other out of the ordinary incident, neither of you ever bailed on your plans. And tonight, Valentine’s Day, was not about to be any different. You had been secretly ecstatic when Bucky double-checked you’d still be getting together for takeout and Netflix, despite the holiday.
If Efi becomes A Character in overwatch can we promise to keep s76 far away from her but let dva be her big sister that sneaks her into pg 13 movies and brings her home loaded with 4 bags of movie theater candies
I hated how Priya handled Amber bullying Candy. To me, blackmailing somebody is way worse than getting tripped during lunch. I also hated how Nathaniel helped with such an awful retaliation. I have a sister and I would never do that to her.
You know Genos doesn’t buy chocolates for Saitama on Valentines Day. He gets them the next day when they are half price. So he comes home and just drops this giant fuckin’ bag of candy on the table but that’s not even the key gift, oh no, that’s when he presents the receipt to Saitama and as soon as he reads the total savings Saitama’s just “I hope your joints are freshly oiled because I’m going to love you so hard you’re going to be in sleep mode for a week”
Warnings: ass play, oral (receiving), exhibitionism (?), dom!kookie, SMUT.
Word Count: 2,980
Summary: You were bored. Stuck at home all night with nothing to do, so you decided to call up a friend and politely invite yourself over for a movie night, and you’d bring all the treats. Who could say no to that?
Me: hey, dipshit. What are you doing tonight?
Muscle Pig: ???? rude. Just watching movies at the dorm, the guys are out this evening.
Me: aw. Still can’t play with the big boys? Tell you what, why don’t I come over and keep you company?
Muscle Pig: Wow ok. You can come over if you’re bored. No need to pretend it’s for my sake. We both know you want to be alone with me >:)
Me: Ew, please. Anyway, I’ll be over in 15… and because I’M helping YOU out ok????
Muscle Pig: mmmmmmhmmmmm sure ok, got it *wink wink* whatever you say. See you soon.
You trudged down the hall to the boys’ dorm, arms carrying at least half a dozen bags filled with popcorn, candy, chips and every other snack necessary for a movie night. To be completely honest, you weren’t here for the overgrown man-child. You’ve been feeling frustrated as of late, the responsibilities of work and school weighing down on you and not giving you time to, well let off some steam.
It’s been about… six months? Yea, that seems about right. With no time to get into a relationship, a one night stand was seeming more and more tempting. You pushed your thoughts aside and set the bags down in front of the door. You entered the passcode and stepped inside the boys’ dorm.
“Kook! Where are you? Come help me!” You yelled from the entrance. You heard him pause whatever was playing, and soon he was standing, or rather, towering over you.
“Well, hello to you too.” he quipped, his signature smirk plastered on his face. He grabbed a few of the bags you brought and walked back into the dorm, leaving you by the door. You huffed as you removed your coat and shoes, picked the rest up, and followed him into the kitchen. “What did you buy? It’s just the two of us why did you bring the entire store?”
Rolling your eyes, you pulled out a few sweets and popcorn, getting ready for your movie night. Once you had everything ready, you met Jungkook on the couch, and began watch the rest of the comedy he had on. Jungkook looked over at you, two bags of candy in your hands as you watched the movie. He chuckled at your behaviour, and reached over to the coffee table to grab a bag for himself.
“Wow noona, you really love candy huh?” he said as he watched you pour half a box of Skittles into your mouth. “I’m kind of glad you brought them though, I didn’t realize how much of a sweet tooth I had until you came over.”
You turned and gave him a small smile, though the one returned to you seemed to have hidden intentions. You pulled the small blanket up your body as you continued to watch, the chilly autumn weather now seeping in. Damn, why did I have to forget my heating blanket? You thought as you started shivering under Jungkook’s throw. The shorts and t-shirt you had on proving to be a bad idea. You then felt a hand around your wrist, pulling you with such force that you have no choice but to comply. You end up on Jungkook’s lap, hearing him mutter something about body heat and science.
The position you’re in isn’t the most comfortable, your legs ended up straddling one of his surprisingly large and firm thighs, but the heat was nice so you stayed. Besides, you kind of liked how his thigh felt, not that you would ever admit that out loud. Jungkook started complaining about not seeing properly, and moved you to the side, as you shifted yourself so he could see. The movement had you rubbing against his thigh in the best way, and before you could stop it, a breathy moan escaped your lips.
