a calming, unifying meditation

-the placid reach -

pick a color, vibrant soul

any color you want, just pick it.

hold it in your head,

see it as a beautiful stone in the middle of your temple.

watch it glow and envelop you

realize that this color has a smell,

a taste,

a feeling.

It is either a cool rush

or a hot prickle

or maybe something completely foreign.

feel that for a minute as you come to center.

view yourself inside of this bubble of vibrant color

sitting there in peace and comfort

pull away from the image

step back

fly upwards and watch your small self become a seed of vibrant energy

you can see through the roofs of all the houses

as you fly up up and away

you see there are several beautiful seeds of every color

and they all have smells and tastes and feelings

eventually you are so far you can see the planet

the smorgasboard of light

is like a partylight

but the seeds of light are getting brighter

and bigger

they are sensing and growing

they are feeling their connectedness

and it makes them shine brighter,

just like you.

soon the earth is a vibrant ball of neon light

it’s not overwhelming though the vibration is high

you are surrounded in the embrace

of the divine energy

which composes you

and every other beautiful light seed.

feel the vibration soar through your chakras

and into your soul star

you are everything

and everything is you.

your pain is not your own

and you are at peace.

hear the bright tone of the universe as it hums in unison with your desires

you will win all that you desire

Caelan looked weary from the long, long trip, sand had caught in his hair and his bright blue eyes were peeking behind a strip of leather with some slits in it, to prevent any sand from blinding him and he had wrapped his backfly around his face and shoulders for similar reasons. His sword hung on his back, and he had brought a woolbeast pulled cart. to protect the creature from dying from heat right there, it was sheared. but Caelan didn’t plan on bringing it back with him, anyway. He needed to find a place to shelter before the day would come and fry him alive, but his trading mission had not been very successful to that point, and it seemed he had gone off the trading paths. he looked around, spying a place that looked…inhabited? the woolbeast seemed uneasy, so that could mean many things. he decided to march that way and knocked.

((on the wall or a door or whatever xD))

Thankfully, the desert wasn’t *entirely* unfriendly to travelers, as a few established trade routes were designed to make it easier for folk to cross. Along these particular routes were small shelters, bricks the color of the rest of the sand painted in bright dyes in patterns, that made them stand out from the rest of the desert. They were simply furnished, waystops for the weary, anyone caught out away from the towns to spare them from the sun. There was a wooden porch-like thing to protect from the sun, closed in enough to shield from the most of the winds, for animals or carts that wouldn’t fit indoors, with a trough for water… and, oddly enough, a narrow but functioning well, just in case, just outside the porch. Of course there was a vent in the roof for smoke from the cooking pit in the center of the shelter. And that thin trail of plume, the soft lights from within, someone was definitely home.

There was a pause after the knock came. …Auxois had hardly expected anyone else out this close to daybreak. Still, it’d be rude to not open up. It wasn’t exactly his hive, so, he couldn’t just pretend no that’s a rock not a door go away. He got up, slowly, and headed to the door. He peeked out the window first, just… hrm. No one he recognized, but, like that was new. He opened the door, warily. “A bit late to be out. What’s found you out so late, stranger?” he rumbled, voice low in volume and pitch.

Way to go! Peak Spider, run through!
[The goal line to] peak conquest is right in front of eyes
Run a way! Peak Spider, rise!
Let’s go fulfill this mounted dream, run to tomorrow
