Madeline Aurora is almost 4 years old.
I can still vividly remember finding out I was gonna be her mother. How I joked to Joe about not hitting me (we were play fighting) because I was probably carrying his child. It wasn’t something I think I truly believed at this time, I was a couple of days late but had no symptoms. Well he called me on my bluff and said I should take a test if I was so worried ( I can remember he said it sarcastically) and sure enough. At 19 years old I found out my world was going to change and I had to rethink my future with this little person in it.
She’s the best thing I’ve ever done with my life. Waking up next to her is the single most important part of my day. When I hear “momma, you’re my best friend” and I tell her she’s mine; I truly mean it. She’s my everything.
