Ayia Napa Sea Monster (To Filiko Teras “The friendly monster” or Auli)
The sea monster is said to inhabit the area around the coastal town of Ayia Napa in Cyprus. This cryptid is kind of weird in that it’s specifically used as a tourist attraction, hotels around the area use it as a way to attract customers. There is currently no physical evidence of its existence only sightings from locals and tourists. Some use a mythical creature called a Scylla as evidence of the creature’s existence. The Scylla is described as having the top half of a woman, a few dogs coming out of its midsection, and the rest of the body looks like a serpent or fish.
