A Yoga story worth telling (and reading!)

Alexandra Montilla was born in Caracas, Venezuela on February 6th, 1991. She moved to Miami, FL at the age of 19 to study Architecture as a major career. During summer of 2013 She traveled to Asia where She visited countries such as Malaysia, Singapore and India, where she got to know profoundly their cultures and traditions. After listening about meditation and Yoga as a practice to find who we really are, Alexandra begun her personal spiritual journey. After coming back to Miami on July of 2013, she devoted herself to daily practice of the Ashtanga Yoga method.

After two years of practice, she begun to teach yoga around Miami’s park and beaches. She believes that a natural environment will increase the benefits of the Yoga practice itself. By the surrounding of nature the students will feel a deeper connection to their higher self and will have a more profound experience overall. Her purpose is to create an unique vibe on every class where the students can enjoy themselves and get away from all the daily demands of modern society. Her classes are designed to challenge your physical and mental capacities in order to expand your awareness to the external world. A combination of movement, breathing and mediation while being surrounded by all the natural beauty will leave any attendant with a feeling of peace and liberation. Her mission is to increase the Yoga community by inspiring everyone to follow a more spiritual path that will raise compassion, love and kindness within.
